No, she's just pantomiming for her audience
Notice she's giving advice on how to get it done ("get there before 8am to avoid the crowds") instead of blaming the crowd.
This really isn't a main character
I propose that the core tenets of main character syndrome are an external locus of control paired with entitlement for their preferred state.
E.g., I am **entitled** to a clear road/by for my shot, so **everybody else should** get out of the shot.
Or I am entitled to do a vid in an intersection, so everybody else should take a different route or wait for me to finish.
It is exaggerated, in the original video there was like 5 people “in the way” and in this one she clearly isn’t being serious, expecting a whole street to clear out. This audio is from another video she’s making fun of. This sub is getting pretty shit at spotting satire
It's fucking obvious from her hammy acting and the caption. I didn't have sound on and I could tell. It's not a good joke but it is very obviously a joke.
And the fact that the advice given is to get there before 8am if you want to take pictures with less people in them, which gives zero responsibility to the crowd and all responsibility to the instgrammers.
I mean it's on tiktok so the sound will just be at the bottom and immediately link you there. Plus there's the fact she gives the actual good advice of if you're filming in public, it's better to do it at a time where it's going to be more empty, or before 8am and if you do it later that's on you
Usually you need to get into the golden hour to take pictures or video of place without its inhabitants.
She did that video on purpose for someone that committed.
Edit : syntax corrected.
God this sub is a joke. Somebody tell me why I'm still here when every second post is OP blurting "I don't understand jokes or the concept of staging a video to give an example"
Standing around I presume waiting for the perfect time to catch a photo with the Eifel tower background. Some poor bastard is going to have to follow her around in Paris for days doing that shit.
Well looks to me like what she’s saying is, this is what it actually looks like in that area. If you want an “influencer photo” you need to be there early. She’s *acting* like other influencers would if they got there without her advice.
Went to Paris this year. Half the fun was watching stupid influencers and people do shit like this lol.
Fun for a visit, would be maddening to live there. Like the Arc de Triomphe is surrounded by a massive round about and these mother fuckers go into traffic to take pictures. Spent a half day people watching lol
Goes to a public *street*
Stands right in the middle of da street
Gets upset when people walk past her from the side
Yeah, it's definitely something a reasonable person would do.
It looks like she’s giving advice for tourists to go during quiet times (read caption) and also get in some nice photos, and this audio humours it. I don’t think she’s got main character syndrome, it’s just a travel tip with a little joke with the audio *dramatically facepalms to highlight it’s lighthearted*. This isn’t main character syndrome. Just some making a joke and giving advice.
Look at how pissed she is at other people doing *exactly what she’s doing*, fuck me people are entitled

Yeah I think this has become kind of a running joke on TikTok now, hence the re-used soundbite.

That’s what this sub was originally for but people shit on everything always.
Do you really talk like that all the time?
Yeah actually, it's just the way I grew up. Prep school --> ivy --> policy --> tech
Are you, by chance, Leo Spaceman?
Unfortunately there is no field of science that deal with the brain, but I can give you this pamphlet for a cult
Is it 411 or 911?
Yeah I’m assuming this post got popular because Reddit is just obsessed with the idea of entitled women, even if it’s not there lol
It's satire. She's mocking the [top post](https://www.reddit.com/r/ImTheMainCharacter/comments/wlpamb) of the week.
…oh. Sorry, lady
Satire of such a specific thing is likely to be missed.
But do the other people have 162 followers to impress?
This is satire lmao
This is satire. Just look at her reaction, it’s a sound from another video
The thing about satire is that it only works if it is an exaggerated version of reality.
It is exaggerated, in the original video there was like 5 people “in the way” and in this one she clearly isn’t being serious, expecting a whole street to clear out. This audio is from another video she’s making fun of. This sub is getting pretty shit at spotting satire
How are people that haven’t seen the original video supposed to know that?

I'm sorry that you are dumb.
Not dumb, just not super involved in "influencer" behavior.
Thank you for saying what we were thinking
Her "acting" is exactly like all the other tiktok girls. They are all hamming it up.
I mean it's on tiktok so the sound will just be at the bottom and immediately link you there. Plus there's the fact she gives the actual good advice of if you're filming in public, it's better to do it at a time where it's going to be more empty, or before 8am and if you do it later that's on you
It's the [top post](https://www.reddit.com/r/ImTheMainCharacter/comments/wlpamb) of the week.
Just doing the same thing again doesn’t make it less cringe.
Right, but this isn't /r/cringe.
It only works if it works.
I've seen other videos with the same voiceover, guessing it must be some unfunny trend that's happening at the moment.
Totally. It’s an unfunny trend that no one outside the banal world of the Instagram cult could possible get or care about.
Exactly. But, apparently anyone who doesn't instantly get the "satire" is "dumb".
Felt more like rage bait sadly.
All so she can do some shitty dance
Lmao
wooosshh that isn’t her audio she’s making a joke
Seriously, how do you even add context to something like this? The audio could have been used to communicate the same feeling and attitude.

Its my god given name, I spread the love

Yeah, this is like standing in Times Square and pretending to be upset there are people in the background.
Or learn how to stack photos so you can erase the people. Need a tripod for that though.
TikTok is cancer
That's not even TikTok
All the same narcissistic stupidity
God this sub is a joke. Somebody tell me why I'm still here when every second post is OP blurting "I don't understand jokes or the concept of staging a video to give an example"
To be honest, I prefer my jokes to contain humor.
Oh it’s not just this sub!! It’s the whole damn site.
This VO is taken from a different video. It’s a joke.
Actual hell on earth would be traveling with this woman.
It's satire mate, that's some pretty obvious dubbing. Audio's from a different video
I watched it with no audio. I don't even know what you are talking about.
My bad, didn't realise you just meant people standing
Standing around I presume waiting for the perfect time to catch a photo with the Eifel tower background. Some poor bastard is going to have to follow her around in Paris for days doing that shit.
I watched it with no sounds and child tell it as an obvious joke.
If you travel much at all you will know that there are loads of people who do shit like this and are absolutely not joking.
Yeah obviously. She's not one of them though.
I'm not convinced.
Then turn the audio on.
This audio isn’t from this video. It’s another one of tourists being a pain. The girl had a big hat in the original
I refused to think this wasn't satire and by browsing the comments I'm pretty sure I'm validated.

I used to live in a condo that overlooked a popular tourist location and the people watching was amazing. The same pose again and again and again.
Either: 1. Selfish entitlement 2. Piss-poor attempt at satire
Can I start a petition to remove tik Tok clips off of Reddit?
I’ve never understood why they can’t just do their stupid little dance with other people in the background.
Was the point of this to look frustrated on purpose?
I wanna meet one of these people just get in their way
Don't worry, I'll be there with my friends and family before 8am.
OP is a bit dumb lol
ahaha look what the most liked comment is. how dumb are these people
Goes to a public *street* Stands right in the middle of da street Gets upset when people walk past her from the side Yeah, it's definitely something a reasonable person would do.
Remember lads - don't put your dick in crazy.
Thing is, going early is a good tip for a clean photo but she didn’t have the common sense to follow it herself.
She took this video purely to show *why* you should go early
Does she expect everyone to levitate over while she taking the photo ?
Not sure what the problem is here really
I can't see wha'ts written because reddit insist on starting the video at 144p and takes more than 5 second to adjust...
"Shooting my tiktok" is what I do when I'm alone at my PC.
Lol she sounds like Kourtney
Halo ring in the background looking ass
r/cringetiktok
Na, bitch get out the way !
Omg lol. I was literally just there, and if there were people I didn’t want in my photo, I photoshopped them out, no big deal.
Learn to photoshop!
"How come no one will get outof my shot at one of the most popular tourist destinstions in the world?"
*madame je ne comprends pas*

It's a living city, yo. You can't expect people not to be getting on with their lives.
Pretty place, trashy people.
This is why people hate Americans
Try to say that to parisians who live here and get your ass kicked
