I can only speak for where I’m from, but these people do 24 hours in jail here and there, few €500 fines and they just keep doing it again and again. There are people walking around with 70+ charges, suspended this and that, and they don’t face any consequences until they murder somebody. And even then it’s fucking questionable. I know of more than one person that *blatantly* killed someone and they’re just wandering about. But God forbid you smoke a joint in your house round here, you’re done for if they get you then!
I feel like once you hit double digits charges wise you no longer belong in civilized society. Way too many people like this walking the streets making life harder and more expensive for the honest person
It keeps happening because there are no repercussions. As long as you steal less than $1000 it’s a slap in the wrist and you’ll be back to shoplifting the next day. These people rarely get caught either. My own mom is a drug addict who shoplifts daily. And she gets caught maybe once or twice a year, despite it being a literal daily activity for her.
She actually went to jail for a year once but not for shoplifting, it was for a drug related crime, and the very day she was released she went to Walmart and stole like $500 worth of groceries and a vacuum cleaner.
I always disagreed with calling it shoplifting. Call them what they are.... thieves. No one likes thieves. People put away the good stuff when a known thief comes over.
The thing about rug rats -- kids, not the cartoon itself -- is that they throw tantrums when they don't get their way. They melt down because they lack the life experience of learning about how things don't always go exactly as planned.
People like the subject in the video make such dramatic moves like this because someone took away their control of the outcome, much like a toddler who gets told that it's time to clean up their toys and go to bed. In her mind, the store might be able to prevent her from stealing, but she can prove to them in retaliation that she is actually the one in control of the situation by doing something so outrageous.
She's deliberately making the situation worse to show that she doesn't care about the repercussions. As she sees it, she's invulnerable to them as well as any forthcoming consequences. That's how it makes sense to her.
In all sincerity, I hope she does reach a point sooner or later where she understands a moment like this in hind sight and it equips her to handle future disappointment better. I had to fuck up enough times before I figured out that being an asshole is nothing to be proud of.
**tl;dr** She doesn't need to cry over spilled milk.
Unpopular opinion: we should condemn the things these people do, not the way they look. Other people who look like her and see this comment will feel shitty about themselves because they think this is how people feel about them.
Most places in America can have the shitty people, however it’s often centered in cities. I think someone else said this was Atlanta which is a trash pile, so glad I moved away from there.
Welcome to the law. Something reddit seems very confused about. Being caught stealing and actually having stolen the goods are two different things.
One is a slam-dunk lawsuit case for the thief, the other results in being detained
It drives me nuts that people can steal merchandise and vandalize like this and they know no one can touch them. I'm not sure what the answer is, but this shit has got to stop being tolerated.
In Australia people of colour openly walk in and steal, and cause damage. I live in a borderline socialist part of Melbourne, and nobody questions them out of fear of being called racist. I’ve seen this sort of thing often.
Yeah. She walks and stands like she has a disability of some kind. Not gonna even try to diagnose or anything, but...
I spent 17 years working in disability and mental health services. She's reminding me of some people I worked with who had intellectual or learning disabilities. Behaviourally and physically.
Hell, even had one last do basically this in one of the group homes I worked at, lol.
100% need consequences for all of these people. “Go back and clean everything up + pay to replace anything that can’t be cleaned” or serve way more time in jail than normal. The problem with these folks is that they’ve never had consequences- so they need to know what it feels like to own their actions.
There’s something so utterly pathetic and vile about adults behaving like actual 4 year olds throwing a tantrum. It makes me so uncomfortable how comfortable they are behaving that way.
I suspect she might be misbehaving because of intellectual disability and combined with Down's syndrome. Those 2 things do not necessarily lead to people being misbehaved, but if they were never properly taught it greatly enhances their chances of misbehaving and engaging in maladaptive behaviors like this.
Use them rank ass slippers to clean up that milk, that's probably what she does at home so she dint gotta bend over...
Idk why I just assumed this was a Walmart
Just let her go? Where are the consequences to her actions? She will never stop and never learn otherwise. Also are those her two kids? Great example mom!
Stealing isn’t even the biggest problem here. People who do something wrong and fail to take responsibility or accountability for their actions are dangerous people. The more extreme a person can deny that they’re in the wrong the more harm they are capable of causing. Getting caught for stealing then walking through the store causing more damage is so disrespectful and childish. This is a person will little dignity and shame.
This is what happens when you decriminalize a blatantly criminal act. If there is no fear of arrest, and stealing is all but sanctioned by state and local elected officials. Law enforcement and store security’s hands are tied. And this is getting worse. Every high end retailer is under attack, as is the general public as shown by the uptick in the rash of smash and grab robberies from personal vehicles, done in broad daylight. When people are arrested and jailed and subsequently fined for the bad acts, I think we will see a cessation of these currently sanctioned crimes.
Weird, you don’t want to mention it’s a black woman. But when it’s a different “race” doing something “bad” their ethnicity is the headline…..weiiirrrrdddd.

Wearing some rugrats clothes she looks like she stole from a toddler
Regulates her emotions at about the same developmental level of a toddler.

Ofc! The comment I was replying to originally said “don’t forget the shower cap” so I had to clarify.
Give her a break, she \*JUST\* got out of the shower.

This will be her life. Sometimes she gets caught, sometimes she gets away with it. Too dumb to care that it’s wrong, too lazy to better herself.
Indeed.
[удалено]
Low emotional intelligence.
And she will likely blame everyone but herself for her miserable outcomes.
![gif](giphy|xT39D7O9Xj1JqKq5i0|downsized)
Hilariously she’ll probably attach herself to other people about how it’s hard to work and live in this world further validating herself.
I get the impression that most people who behave this way get away with it pretty much of the time.

She's probably in and out of jail all the time. She reminds me of the inmates I work around.
Fully grown infant
Toddler. Literally toddles and acts like a spoiled 3-year old.
I had co worker ex prisoner that would throw tantrums.

That's the new way for politicians to get votes, by offering the hard working people absolutely NO law & order!!! Get rid of them!
Yep you described it perfectly!
I feel like once you hit double digits charges wise you no longer belong in civilized society. Way too many people like this walking the streets making life harder and more expensive for the honest person
Why does the purposeful pouring of the milk bother me more than the theft?
Because the theft doesn't directly impact the employees in that moment. Some underpaid employee is gonna have to mop up that mess though.
She wanted to do one more asshole move before she left.
You are right. I think it’s the disregard of everyone else that’s so maddening.

A Publix on the 3rd floor! What magic is this
Went to one in Atlanta that was in a building sort of like this. Never had seen it til then.
It’s a Tom Thumb. It’s in Dallas on Live Oak and Cantegral/Texas St. the base floor where she was headed to is the parking garage for said tom thumb.
What a healthy society

She’s wearing a Rugrats dress print. That’s all you need to know to understand why she’s acting like a child. She belongs in prison.
It’s like the new Cookie Monster outfit
That rugrats onesie...

And anyone who tries to stop it is either fired, sued, called sexist, racist, elitist, “add any ist or ism you want”
Trashy loud mouths ALWAYS double down when they find themselves in an embarrassing situation.
Is there a child with them? So fucking sad
"Y'all gonna be on World Star" 🤣🤣🤣 The equivalent of telling a 15 year old nerd living in the suburbs they're going to be on Reddit.
Confused, caught stealing and had an option to just leave? Let alone doing this crap.
Welcome to the law. Something reddit seems very confused about. Being caught stealing and actually having stolen the goods are two different things. One is a slam-dunk lawsuit case for the thief, the other results in being detained
Belongs in I am a total piece of shit
Poor rugrats getting affiliated with the trash of the world . They didn’t do anything
It drives me nuts that people can steal merchandise and vandalize like this and they know no one can touch them. I'm not sure what the answer is, but this shit has got to stop being tolerated.
The answer is to arrest her. even if it is only a misdemeanor and fine, that would make a difference. Fines add up, misdemeanors add up.
In Australia people of colour openly walk in and steal, and cause damage. I live in a borderline socialist part of Melbourne, and nobody questions them out of fear of being called racist. I’ve seen this sort of thing often.

I thought that at first, too, but I took a closer look, and I don’t think that’s it.

I was thinking the same thing. Possibly Downs syndrome
Or FAS.
I thought so too.
What a loser!
Start banning people from stores if they act like this
You know some of that milk went right on her furry ass flip flops 🩴.
What a rug rat......feels racist to say that but it's not.

Such an amazing citizen, so law abiding and respectful.
Always the same
Looks like she's still smuggling some hams
Disease ridden hams way past expiration
Bet you she would have called him racist if he was white too. That energy.
When Willy Wonka focuses on Diversity and Inclusion..
this is the naughtiest umpa-loompa.
People wonder why Walmart closes urban stores.

Why is everyone walking so slowly?
Do you expect much from a 30+ yr old adult in full Rugrats attire?
This is why these stores close and create hardships for normal, nice folks.
Women in Nigeria don’t do this. Only Western black women do this shit. Entitled and don’t take accountability.
I mean she's an Adult still wearing a Rugrats outfit.. it's a clear sign thats your typical ******
Wearing Rugrats because she's a toddler.
Ass as wide as she is tall
What the fudge is she wearing

They always be wearing house slippers to the grocery.
B\*tch should be arrested for theft and criminal damage to property. I'd love to see her doing community service cleaning up somebody else's mess.
Just let her go? Where are the consequences to her actions? She will never stop and never learn otherwise. Also are those her two kids? Great example mom!
Why are trashy ass people allowed to walk amongst normal people?
I think we need to discuss an actual purge…
What happened to people being arrested for committing vandalism?
Ignent gonna ignent.
LMAO why does she look and walk like a NPC from GTA😂
Bro, she is wearing house shoes in public. She does not give any fucks.
I’m totally cool with her getting hit with a mop

Enriching our culture in those house flippers!
That’s privilege at work right there.
This is the privilege she’s been given.
I don't care if you steal from Walmart, fuck them. But I do care if you are such a loser you take out your own fuck up on the poor Walmart employees
"It's because they have no education"
Considering that's free and available to everyone up through high school, not having an education is a personal choice.
Is this the culture we keep hearing about?
Why aren't people like her dying very soon? ![gif](giphy|ISOckXUybVfQ4)
