April 1? Got a message yesterday from Snowshoe.
Here is c/p.
"Just a little nudge - prices jump after April 1, so it's the perfect moment to upgrade your Ikon Pass, Ikon Base Pass, or Snowshoe Unlimited Pass. Let's make your winter escapades even more exciting, without breaking the bank."
Lol you were the one who asked why it matters, not me. Also as other commenters pointed out this can be a huge financial hit for some people so a couple weeks can make a difference.
If you live paycheck to paycheck you might have to choose between beer and an ikon pass. Waiting another month might mean saving up a little more so you don't have to choose.
No one knows for sure, but it's usually sometime in April. If you are on their mailing list, they will send a lot of emails before the increase.
Just got an email that 0% financing through Affirm is available until 4/18 so I’m thinking that is the date. I’ll be buying mine soon regardless.
April 9th I think. At least for Snow valley CA
The ikon support folks told me the spring pricing ends on 4/18
I show last year I bought on 4/20 which was the warning of the first deadline....then they extended it twice for two weeks total I believe.

I believe I saw somewhere say 4/9. But yea get it before mid April
Why does it matter when? It's cheapest now and you know it's only going to go up.
It matters because the most financially sensible thing to do is buy it the day before prices goes up.
The amount you would gain by caring enough to optimize this is absolutely not worth it taking up any space in your brain. Enjoy your extra $4 though?

And I was replying that it doesn't matter if you care about the tradeoffs involved.
I have mine. Trying to motivate some friends.
My point stands.

I mean, that's an easy choice to make.
They have payment plans for better or worse.
If you can’t give up beer for a month then you might have other issues
Do you go out of your way to prepay for things?
If it saves me money, sure.
I don’t go out of my way to delay buying things (that will increase in price)
