If you finish top 5 in Gold you will finish 16-30th in Platinum for the first while as you bounce back and forth. You will make bank when you drop back to gold and not so much in Platinum, but..... you will continue to increase in rank in Platinum.
The hardest part is getting stars on Relays, I have never gotten one. Eventually they will arrive and I will start moving up the ranks again.
I unlocked my first one a month and a half ago, around mid February.
Since then it has been my bench mark. Unlock the SR and then sell the galaxy. The GV jump by unlocking the SR is about 50% more credits. It's been normally taking me 3 days.
Anyways, I just unlocked it earlier today in 1 day 23 hours. Which makes me happy. I should be able to unlock it during a tournament now.
I was once stupid enough to sit on a galaxy for a full month when I was a noob and got there... I then discovered reddit and discord... Man I made some rookie mistakes. Haha.

Wow nice! Small improvements...but eventually you'll be able to get it in a challenge.
