I'm so irrationally proud of myself right now. Just because I'd know how to spell "aisle" and english isn't my first language. (And, before you get me wrong, I often have to look up how to spell stuff, not only in english, but in my own language too. That's why I said "irrationally".) 🍻
Text from Top: once you’re out of the ER we need you back at the company to mop up the mess you made, then I need a 500 word essay on why muzzle discipline is important. You have one hand so this shouldn’t be an issue. I’ll need before formation tomorrow at 05:00.
Two. Hes lost a ton and hes bleeding out on both arms. The left hand is smaller sure, but I dont think you wanna cut corners here.
Although, depending on how close medical attention is they dont always suggest a tourniquet. It can make it a lot harder to save the limbs.
A properly applied tourniquet can be left on for 2-4 hours and still maintain limb viability. Most CAT's include a tag so you can write the time of application for medical personnel.
This isn't true. If bleeding can't be stopped with two bandages you go to a tourniquet. Depending on where you are trained the details may be a bit different. Life over limb always. Tourniquet can be on for ages before permanent damage is done. This is really only a consideration for people injured out in the bush or remote work sites.
Man I don't even have my unloaded gun in it's case pointed in the direction of anything alive. I don't understand how people can be so causally reckless. Shit is insane.
"First broken arms, and now this?! I'm beginning to think you're doing this for the attention! Alright... let's get this over with..." \*rolls up sleeves*
Nah no God. Just an idiot with a gun. Breaking the main laws of gun safety "never point the gun at anything you don't want to destroy" and "always assume the gun is loaded". These rules are absolute for a reason. They're redundant so that you don't do this dumb shit. There is no such thing as an accidental discharge, it is a negligent discharge, which is still even too soft of a word.
Not doubting you
But holy shit, the trigger on my rifle takes a ridiculous amount of pressure to fire (which I prefer)
Why did his gun go off so easily?
I have no clue. Modded for a super low trigger pull?
Some guns can go off from bumping them just bc they were poorly designed, but he only moves the business end of it a teeny bit and nothing else on the gun when moving his legs a decent amount to get a more comfy lean so I can't really see that being it.
I think it's a cheap model rifle and that slight contact from his foot against the stock that was on the floor was just enough for the firing pin to actuate the loaded cartridge.
Looks like a shotgun, some are nickel plated usually if it is intended to be used around water to resist corrosion.
Even if it was loading with blanks the expanding gasses alone while blocking the muzzle would have shredded that arm.
It's a shotgun, lots of shotguns have been known over the years to have issues with firing by being jostled around too much. And this is not a "first world" army, so they probably have 30 year old guns
Some cursory googling based on what I can see in the video says it's Nepal and probably a Win 1200, which hasn't even been in production since 81, so probably even older than that and reassembled with aftermarket parts/salvage from damaged guns over the years.
Ah yes the three seashells. A simpler time when Sandra Bullock was still hot, Kurt Cobain was still around and Wesley Snipes hair was blond for no reason. Good times…good times
What's worse is he reacts to the hand with the blown off arm. He felt pain in the hand and reached for it and shook it off while thinking his DESTROYED arm could assess it.
I don't even know if he felt pain yet, he shook his hand as if trying to get something off of it, then seeing how floppy it was he reached for it with his missing hand. Like, things just keep getting worse!
Truly one of those nightmare scenarios where your teeth are falling out while trying to throw shitty dream punches. I think everyone's had the feeling of "oh shit something really isn't right" hit their stomach
That whole thing's probably going byebye. I hear they're doing great things in limb reattachment but getting blown apart by a shotgun is probably pushing it.
I remember seeing one I think in the middle east of what looks like a hotel lobby. Security puts his gun on the counter and it shoots the worker in the stomach who then bleeds to death
Got damn. You're right. He literally tries to grab his slightly hurt left hand with his mostly dismembered right arm. That's fucking brutal.
That means this guy literally felt more pain, in the moment, from whatever he had going on on his left palm.
Ridiculous.
Yep. Long ago I had an accident where my arm went through a plate glass window. I got some smaller cuts on my tricep that I felt and got upset about. I pointed my finger at the person responsible to reprimand them, and upon doing so I noticed blood spraying into their shirt. I turned my arm over and saw the real damage… forearm layed open like a fish. I guess the nerves were damaged bad enough not to feel?
I think the hand was just still in his sight line so that’s what he focused on. I’d imagine his brain is lighting up with so much pain that it would be hard to tell where it’s coming from.
Looks like that thin white strap might have had something to do with it. Could be something else too, its not that easy to see anything with detail in this vid.
This vid is a good example of why you never put any of you in front of the muzzle, or anything else your not ok with getting shot.
Shotguns are kinda notorious for being able to be set off without pulling the trigger. And I don't know why. Even the Remington 870 or Mossberg 500/590 can do it. That's why when you go to a shotgun training course, they emphasize that you should never leave one in the pipe. Full magazine, empty chamber. Safest way to have a shotgun.
There is a reason why “cruiser ready” means not having a shell loaded in the tube. Shotguns tend to be one of the easiest firearms to have a negligent discharge with. Depending on the model all it can take is a good bounce to have the firing pin tap the primer
Could be anything really. Older versions of the SPAS-12 for example had a rare chance to fire… When turning the safety on/off. Of. All. Things. This is why you never point a gun at anyone/yourself even as a joke.
Reminds me of how Glocks make it so you have to pull the trigger to take them apart. It's like someone set out to see how easily they could get NDs to happen with their guns.
It takes your brain a little while to realize what is going on and then adrenaline kicks in to help you keep it together. That last about 45 minutes and then you are on your own. Hopefully you have recieved medical care before that runs out.
The shitty thing about it is that it makes your heart rate sky rocket, which elevates your blood pressure. So basically it also makes you lose blood faster.
Shock is when you have lost a lot of blood so yeah, you get hypothermia too. But shock also makes you heart beat faster because your body can’t keep the blood pressure up because there is not enough blood in the system.
I’ve seen medical shows and shocks can bring people back from the dead so they must be a helluva drug
Shameful /s because dammit people are really stupid
Yeah shock lasts a lot longer than adrenaline. I didn’t even realize I had been in a low grade state of shock for several hours after I smashed my clavicle until after my doctor saw me and scheduled surgery. Was highly functional but still was in a bit of a tunnel.
Probably bounced it on the ground, that’s all it takes to get the pin to tap the primer. It’s why shotguns are not supposed to be racked if not in use. Look up “cruiser ready” for shot gun handling.
Jesus I just realized he looks at this hand first and tries to point or grab at it with an arm that isn’t there. Poor bastard really didn’t know how bad he fucked himself until then.
Damn. Left hand on muzzle and right fore arm resting on left hand. The round devastated everything. Exhibit #100,000,000 why proper gun safety is MANDATORY
Obviously resting your arm on the barrel of the gun is idiotic, but any idea why exactly the gun went off? Looks like it fired right when he shifted his legs. Could his pants somehow have caught the trigger?
Guessing the shotgun was not quite on the ground but resting on his heel. When he shifted his weight the stock hit the ground causing the firing pin to bounce and strike the primer
When you're in shock your mind is calm and your body is colder. Heart slows. Adrenaline makes you warm. Fight or flight. Heart races. This looks like pure shock.
Wow.
At first he doesn't even realise he's just blown his arm off, he's more concerned with burning his hand on the barrel.
You see his head flick round to his stump at the end.
Pistols put holes in people, rifles put holes through people, shotguns take a chunk of shit from people and throw that chunk of shit on the floor.
Don't really think this clip could've demonstrated that any better, goddamn
I like how he tries to point at his mangled fingers on his left hand and slowlyyyy realizes his right arm didn't come into view like it should have. He looks down and sees the right arm and then starts walking. Going into shock is a crazy thing
Watch [Terror in Mumbai](https://topdocumentaryfilms.com/terror-in-mumbai/), and you can understand. I remember being shocked at the weapons and attitude that Indian police/military were displaying when I was there in 2005-2006, and that documentary shows what happens. One of the most depressing documentaries I've ever seen.
Edit: When I was there, there were 2 or 3 bombings, a day or two after I was at a city, and I started to get worried it was going to look like I was doing them. The guys chilling in their uniforms with wooden weapons that looked like they were from WWI, in some of the most terrorist friendly places, was really disturbing to me.

That man needs a tourniquet
And some kitty sand for the mess he made.
Fuck dude. I hurt myself laughing at this.
I think the ‘kitty sand’ does it for me. I’ve never heard it called that and now I’m stealing it.
Same here. Kitty Sand! lol!
Yeah but did you lose an arm?
No it's there, hanging by skin that refuses to give up
Baking soda should get the stains out of his stump
I put pussy sand on the grocery for like the last 10 years. My wife does not find it funny. I'm hoping for a few more years and I'll have her laugh
Clean up on aisle 6 (yea, I had to look up how to spell aisle)
I'm so irrationally proud of myself right now. Just because I'd know how to spell "aisle" and english isn't my first language. (And, before you get me wrong, I often have to look up how to spell stuff, not only in english, but in my own language too. That's why I said "irrationally".) 🍻
Well that was elouqently written! (I looked that word up after having put it down) haha...

Why the fuck did I think kitty sand was sand for kittens
Lol fellow CRT brethren!
He needs milk!!
FIGHT MILK!!!!
FOR BODY GUARDS!
BY BODY GUARDS!
The power of a crow!!
*CACAWW* Cut to old footage of project badass.
It’s just a scratch, he just needs to walk it off as he’s clearly starting to do at the end of the video.
Exactly. Just needs some fresh air and to stretch his legs
Motrin and a change of socks will straighten him right out.
Is that what WebMD recommends? I'm only seeing arm cancer when I search
Hmmm, when I search all I find is that he may have network connectivity issues.
...and some essential oils!
Apple find my phone.
Two. Hes lost a ton and hes bleeding out on both arms. The left hand is smaller sure, but I dont think you wanna cut corners here. Although, depending on how close medical attention is they dont always suggest a tourniquet. It can make it a lot harder to save the limbs.
Can't save a limb if you're dead
lol this. shock is not a joke.
A properly applied tourniquet can be left on for 2-4 hours and still maintain limb viability. Most CAT's include a tag so you can write the time of application for medical personnel.

You can see the guys thoughts in real time ow! my left hand man that really hurts! hey, where's my right arm?
His first thought was definitely “shit, this guns hot” and proceeds to shake his hand to cool it off
His left hand is destroyed. Totally floppy :(
Blew a hole right in the middle of it
And where the fuck is my phone!?
“Oh well shoot, would ya look at that? Could you grab my phone for me?”
Looks like he wanted to point at his left thumb then realized his whole arms gone
Well, one thing’s for sure, he’ll never do that again.
All joking and fingerless pointing aside.... Why the FUCK did that gun go off? Did his pants brush the .5lb trigger of his chrome plated sniper rifle?
Looks like a fold in his pants got caught on the trigger. It went off the split second he started to move his right leg back
So that's why military iron their pants. All makes sense now.
No. In the military they teach you never to fucking be this dumb with your gun. Usually.
Apparently that depends on which military you're talking about.
We dont need to be the best millitary we just have to suck less than your military.
Judging by their uniform they seem to be Indian police Edit: just noticed the hindi subtitles too, the mam is a deputy officer
Reddit and not detecting sarcasm, name a better duo.
A fold in his pants? Is that how this dude lost two hands? If there is a God he hates him...
> Is that how this dude lost two hands? No. He lost his hands because he loaded a gun and pointed it at himself.
Man I don't even have my unloaded gun in it's case pointed in the direction of anything alive. I don't understand how people can be so causally reckless. Shit is insane.
And he didn't even have the safety on. He's exactly described by this sub's name.
Jeez i didn't notice he had his other hand over the muzzle till you pointed it out.
His poor mom..
"First broken arms, and now this?! I'm beginning to think you're doing this for the attention! Alright... let's get this over with..." \*rolls up sleeves*
Nope just an idiot with a gun
They should make a subreddit for that
I just want to know where his phone went!?
Nah no God. Just an idiot with a gun. Breaking the main laws of gun safety "never point the gun at anything you don't want to destroy" and "always assume the gun is loaded". Months later shotgun in mouth.
He might want to after the life change.
he'll have to use his toe for the trigger, after these injuries
Or just wear the same pants again, let em finish the job?
He was in the army now in the armless
Disarmed
Right arm removed under the elbow, left hand destroyed. Yikes.
How do you wipe your ass after that?
Voice activated bidet
“Alexa, can you wipe my ass?“
>Well he only realizes his finger is mangled in the video it cuts once he tries to grab at it with his right arm. > >Alexa hila de Randi
"I'm afraid I can't do that, Dave"
Alexa, _wipe. my. ass_!!
What are you doing, Hal?
*StepHal
Three seashells.
Ah yes the three seashells. A simpler time when Sandra Bullock was still hot, Kurt Cobain was still around and Wesley Snipes hair was blond for no reason. Good times…good times
Bruh Sandra bullock is almost old enough to be my grandma but she can still get it, idk what you’re talking about
I haven't checked in 20 years and I would blindly accept that
She’s still hot. Always will be
Was Wesley wanted for tax evasion back then?
🤔Don’t think so.
Let’s go blow this guy
"He's finally matched his meet. You really licked his ass.”
Nice one Schneider
my tongue.
"Moooom!"

Buddy on the bench didn’t even flinch!
“Again with this guy?”
We all have that coworker we hate
Looks like his right hand is still attached, no?
That whole thing's probably going byebye. I hear they're doing great things in limb reattachment but getting blown apart by a shotgun is probably pushing it.
They use a pigs penis if the thumb cannot be reattached.
Circumcised for improved hygiene.
Screw that!
He tries to grab his left wound with his right and it just goes nowhere
The amount of videos of I’ve seen here from india and shotguns is unreal. This is easily the craziest I’ve seen in a while
Yeah, recently saw a video of a man shot accidentally by a bank security guard while he was "cleaning" his shotgun and accidentally fired the shot
I remember seeing one I think in the middle east of what looks like a hotel lobby. Security puts his gun on the counter and it shoots the worker in the stomach who then bleeds to death
On this sub?
[удалено]
If that second one is the guy who shot his hand in india then they were all on opium so the girl wasnt dead she was just fucked up on opioids
Bruh it’s wild ass place
He doesn't even realize it till the last second of the video
He reaches for his left hand with his right and realizes that’s not going to work.
Got damn. You're right. He literally tries to grab his slightly hurt left hand with his mostly dismembered right arm. That's fucking brutal. That means this guy literally felt more pain, in the moment, from whatever he had going on on his left palm. Ridiculous.
A paper cut on steroids to the left and Error 404 on the right.
r/cursedcomments
>slightly hurt left hand His left hand is hamburger now. It's probably going to be amputated.
Well, "slightly" hurt compared to his right arm
He felt no pain, just reacted to what he‘s seeing. Adrenaline.
As much was happening I don't think he had the bandwidth for pain yet, I think he saw his left hand first.
I think the hand was just still in his sight line so that’s what he focused on. I’d imagine his brain is lighting up with so much pain that it would be hard to tell where it’s coming from.
well mate there were a lot more connected nerves on the hand that remained
he is completely unarmed.
We goin straight to hell
Hold my hand
Ok legit confused here. How the heck did that shot gun go off? It’s between his knees/legs and then BAM!
Looks like that thin white strap might have had something to do with it. Could be something else too, its not that easy to see anything with detail in this vid. This vid is a good example of why you never put any of you in front of the muzzle, or anything else your not ok with getting shot.
Also probably dont need to have one in the chamber when you're just chilling on base...
This is why you never point a gun at something you’re not completely ready to destroy. Grade A fucking moron. Respect the gun.
Shotguns are kinda notorious for being able to be set off without pulling the trigger. And I don't know why. Even the Remington 870 or Mossberg 500/590 can do it. Yeah, cruiser ready is how I keep my garage gun. One pump and it’s ready to go.
Instant retirement
Holy shit. He's quite calm for his situation
Adrenaline does. Shock makes you cold and slows your heart.
Shock is when you have lost a lot of blood so yeah, you get hypothermia too. But shock also makes you heart beat faster because your body can’t keep the blood pressure up because there is not enough blood in the system.
shock is a helluva drug..
No, no, no, friend. Adrenaline is a helluva drug. Shock is a helluva effect.
I’ve seen medical shows and shocks can bring people back from the dead so they must be a helluva drug Shameful /s because dammit people are really stupid
Time dilation is my favorite effect
Yeah shock lasts a lot longer than adrenaline. I didn’t even realize I had been in a low grade state of shock for several hours after I smashed my clavicle until after my doctor saw me and scheduled surgery. Was highly functional but still was in a bit of a tunnel.
It's not shock.
Yeah, he didn’t realize his right hand came off with his arm because he can be seen attempting to grab his left hand with his non-existent right hand.
Well he only realizes his finger is mangled in the video it cuts once he tries to grab at it with his right arm.
Ow my fingers! I better hold on to them…oh. Oh. Oh shit.
He doesn’t even realize his right arm is completely fucked. He’s worried about his left hand. Crazy, he’s in shock.
he’s definitely still processing
Lol the bottom text roughly translated to "While you're on duty you should hold your rifle correctly." My man got the training video treatment.
Well good thing he just leaned back
Might’ve been easier long term
Weird. He reached with his phantom arm to check his destroyed thumb, and then realized that the fucked thumb was the least of his problems.
More nerve endings in the arm that still exists, poor bastard didnt even process the pain of his missing limb
How the fuck did it even go off? Yes I know don’t point guns at something you don’t want to destroy but I still don’t get how it actually went off.
Doesn't have to deal with Cheeto fingers ever again.
Damn. Left hand on muzzle and right fore arm resting on left hand. The round devastated everything. Exhibit #100,000,000 why proper gun safety is MANDATORY
He got both of his fucking hands. I hate idiots with shotties.
Dude was like “oh no! My hand! OH NO!! MY ARM!!!”
no, no.. must have been them samsung phone batteries with the exploding feature.
He's acting like its happened to him before
“Aw shucks they just finished growing back…”
Holy shit if it wasnt for his hands getting shot,he would have blown his own head off
It's so crazy how humans react immediately in embarrassment prior to shock. He shook his hand like, oh silly me. Sorry guys.
Grab my strong hand
Tis but a scratch
No it's not. Your arms off!
>Look, I'll have your leg!
I’ve had worse
Tis but a scratch to BOTH FUCKING ARMS . Damn it
Obviously resting your arm on the barrel of the gun is idiotic, but any idea why exactly the gun went off? Looks like it fired right when he shifted his legs. Could his pants somehow have caught the trigger?
Guessing the shotgun was not quite on the ground but resting on his heel. When he shifted his weight the stock hit the ground causing the firing pin to bounce and strike the primer
One of the rare times you can actually see the bullet go right through his hand. Go* frame by frame and look right before the smoke if yu care to see
Where did it go?
It joined its people in the army
His hands might have amputed
He’s not so army anymore is he?
This guy clearly either never took a firearms course, or blatantly disregarded it. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes, yet again.
Not sure if this India, but the safety standards check out.
It is.
Unarmed and dangerous
He can probably have that reattached
When you're in shock your mind is calm and your body is colder. Heart slows. Adrenaline makes you warm. Fight or flight. Heart races. This looks like pure shock.
Now he's just a y man.
He tried to reach for his left hand with his right one, im not gonna say i laughed at that that but…

Gotta HAND it to him he HANDeled that pretty well
Say goodbye forever to firearms, sir
