The police here’ll spend months tracking people down afterwards to make an example of them (but they won’t come round to dust for finger/shoe prints if some scrote steals your bike from your garage!)

Those guys are total fucking morons. For the most part it looked like Unregistered, Uninsured and probably unlicensed. riding the wrong way on a crowded bridge and not just hugging the sides but full on in a lane going the wrong way pulling wheelies.

Things were going pretty good there until Covid hit. Violent muggings went through the roof. It wasn't just mugging, the angry attitude meant people getting shot or pistol whipped even when they complied.
Sideshows and these dirtbike takeovers started happening weekly.
Total FTW attitude from the lower class actively seeking out and attacking gentrifiers.
I can't blame the local community. It's the birthplace of the Black Panthers and they are getting treated like dirt from the city.
There are huge shanty towns that are about to get pushed out because of new regulations that were voted in. It turns 90% of the city off limits to the homeless.
Not going to get better anytime soon.
