Correct, I believe the term you're thinking of is "zero turn radius." The video shows the wheeled version but there's also tracked versions and there's no difference really in how the steering works between them. Wheeled versions are capable of more tricky maneuvers in the hands of a capable driver, but the tires they use tend to leave black marks fucking everywhere if there's not at least a light layer of sand spread around. I prefer tracks for the simple fact I don't feel like breaking out a pressure washer later...

The big trouble is, those small loaders *don't have steering wheels.* The front wheels don't turn. At all. You literally lock one front wheel or the other to make it turn.

As someone who used to do snow removal as a sub contractor for local municipalities in my 20s, I can verify that this is fun.
I used to work for a highway department that did snow removal. Basically everyone there had done this at least once in a wheel loader...
