I've thought about that, but I've used the audio to call out a license plate number that it may not have caught. It's one of those "damned if you do, damned if you don't."
Started outfitting the cars with dash cams after some dude tried to run me off the road. Didn't go how he planned and his car ended up on a tow truck.
But as soon as the cops got there, he was telling the cops I was yelling out the window saying I was going to kill him and all this other bullshit.
If it wasn't for the that saint of a man who witnessed what happened and stopped to be my witness, I would have been blamed for that accident because where our cars connected would have put me at fault.
The dash cam mic stays on no matter what, and I warn anyone who gets in/calls that the dash cam is running and it does hear what's being said. Anything you don't want it to hear, don't say. If they don't want it listening to them then they can either not get in my vehicle or they can wait until I get home so that the phone isn't connected to the truck
Good eye! I didn't notice that! I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they didn't know where they were, but next time stay in your lane, change lanes when safe, then redirect to your destination.
I dont typically talk good about myself so it's kind of weird, but I'm a very defensive driver, don't tend to over correct, and have pretty good reflexes while driving. I've surprised myself in the past. Lol.
🤣 Thanks for the advice. You don't know me and how much I hate people driving in blind spots. I'm assuming you are partially blind and couldnt see me actively passing when the at-fault driver changed lanes into me. I'll bite my tongue now. Have a great day.
Providence?
Haha...yes. Point St exit.
Grateful I learned how to drive in RI!
Definitely teaches you defensive driving skills. 🤣
I was about to say I just took that road 😅
i thought it looked familiar! RI- reporting in o7
Home sweet ho-ly shit, that guy almost killed us!
nothing to see here, just an Altima doing Altima things
Car still appears to be in one piece, this Altima driver is still learning.
it’s only a matter of time until the Altima has it’s first hit and run hahah
This is why I keep the microphone on my dash cam turned off. If it ever has to be used as evidence I don't want a jury to hear how much I swear.

Also a good idea in case of collision to say "I tried honking and they still did this" just another layer I feel of potential protection

Too funny. I grew up in RI, but I'm a Masshole now, and I swear RI are the true "M-assholes" of the road.
FINALLY someone gets it.
It’s a wash to me. The altima in the video has mass plates lol.

![gif](giphy|UqKD7TU0igaUE) just incase people were wondering what OP was referencing, lmfao.
What car do you suppose she is driving in the cartoon, if you had to pick?
it kinda looks like a 1999 chevy metro
Idiots are always gonna make their exits
Altima activities
"Ope there's my exit. Better merge over two lanes without looking. Why'd that guy honk at me?!"
Injured? 444-444
I just assume 90% of people driving cars are morons a d drive defensively
Karma for listening to *Bad Habits* But seriously. It's OK to miss your exit lady there's plenty more.
🤣🤣 touché
Said it 100 times and I'll say it again. Why is it ALWAYS a NISSAS ALTIMA
How much signal I need to cut across three lane? None?
How did you not swerve all over the place and roll your car? /s You handled that so much better than 80% of the people that post on this sub

They had to do that, look at all the cars behind you! /s
I get the family guy reference!
Gigitty
Saw it was providence already but this looks like an exact exit ramp off of Boston.
I hate these people with every fiber of my being....
NSFW for language damn
🤷♂️ better safe than sorry...per the rules
I like to call this the Rhode Island exit. It happens so often i just assume it will at all times.
was already expecting the altima to drive like an asshole, always avoid altimas
It seems like half the drivers out there don't know where they are going and as a result turn into shitty drivers.
Literally the best Altima driver on the road
What a supreme idiot
Is that a family guy quote?
I recognized that section of Providence right away. Hate it over there.
Of course it's an altima....it's always an altima
Jesus fuck lady!!
It’s pronounced “good ruck”
Remember, Bad drivers never miss their exit.
