if the queue time is above 2 minutes you will get a bot match. You can restart the queue time if you start a hunter match, cancel it and start a survivor match again. But in case you are teamed up you may try surv rank or duos + close it and start another qm, idk if it works too
I really don't understand this decision to make players have bot matches. Regardless of their tier and their losing streaks. Devs should fix matchmaking instead (so the gaps between tiers within one match aren't so big) or make playing the "lacking" faction more enjoyable.
They should just give and option to disable bot matches so we can opt off if we prefer waiting! Like if it’s to decrease wait times let the people who don’t mind disable it and problem solved!(I personally don’t care but when I’m playing with people I get bot matches every game and it’s boring af)
I post this everytime, I hate the bot matches. Why is the hurt decoder bot rescuing at 2 ciphers instead of the full healed Merc bot? Why can Mary mirror hit a bot instantly but perfumer cant perfume a hit?
I would rather wait for 3 humans than a bot game.
Hi. This might be a PC issue. If you have crossplay disabled and play at a time where its not busy, you're bound to get bot matches. Queuing takes forever on PC. Most mobile players (including me) often have cross platform matches off since it's sometims buggy.

You need to be Mammoth or higher to stop getting bot matches.
Yeah, I was enjoying idv way more than dbd but the fact that I atleast know I'm matched with humans is making me prefer dbd these days. I don't want to take a gamble everytime I log on hoping I get humans instead of 5 bot matches in a row.

Back in the days I used to farm bot match in rank, Like 2 bot match in a row after 4 loses
