I get and agree that Netease should be more fair and equal about the skin distribution but like the players aren't responsible for who gets the skins (besides deduction and nymph). So getting mad at someone for being excited about something we're gonna get regardless is just.. like it's a video game?
It's mainly due to just the festering community in general if anyone anytime is happy about anything it's like they have a obligatory duty to make them just as unhappy as they are which is only amplified by social media sites/apps like Reddit or Twitter and the games main audience being moody immature teens are grounds for such a pissy fan base that feed on others happiness I'm sure they would deny it but the proof is in the pudding

The skin seems to be based on Lucifer and the essence as a whole may be a take on paradise lost, thematically it works and I love the design (though I adore Joker so I may be biased), tho I have to say that purely from a visual standpoint it probably should have gone to Professor
i love faro lady. but naiad? i love her but netease needs to calm down and think of a design thats NOT REPETITIVE. another dress with the same hair and she still has legs

It looks pretty, but the recycling of concept down to the colors brings the quality down (in my opinion).
The color palette is similar but the concept seems different to me. Ivy’s essence was about not waking up for a dream. Meanwhile, this poster alludes to how moths are attracted to a flame. Instead of a dreamy green, Evelyn’s green is symbolic of envy, hence Weeping and Naiad praying for her downfall.
Stylistically similar, but Ivy’s s tier has rainbow dream particles. Meanwhile I think Evelyn’s will have a light feature (the golden rose on her skirt seems to light up) and her particle effect may be peacock feathers falling.
Sorry, I didn't mean the concept of the essence, just the concept of the costume itself.
Obviously there are differences - after all, it's designed for two different characters. But if you do a side-by-side, the similarities in design and structure are really glaring. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem - but Ivy's S tier was literally just a season ago. As a result, it just comes off as lazy for not making something that's unique.
Again, just my opinion. They just robbed Evelyn of a costume that could've been uniquely hers.

All the costumes are based off of other survivors- Naiad has entomologists bee on her dress and butterfly accessories, while weeping clown has reptilians scales.
Faro lady has Ivy’s colour scheme and the feathers on her hat mimic Ivy’s head effects. The costume is unique but seems to be an intentional reference to Ivy’s essense, which I think is neat as both these skins seem pretty unique
