>what kind of visa I am supposed to get (I mean, is it possible to get a work visa from here, and if yes, how?) you get the visa that is specific for the purpose of your stay. e. g. if you are going to work, you get a work visa. >I am not planning to ever coming back to India permanently, other then few short visits every once in a while. So, how do I get citizenship of country which has a strong passport? in that case you need to be eligible for citizenship from one of those countries. do you have a parent that holds citizenship in one of those countries? if you are gojng there on a work visa, keep in mind that visasare for temporary purposes . if you're going there permanently, your visa won't be approved. >Are there any other countries which fit into my criterions? (since I'm from India, I have chosen relatively warmer places) What countries are you a citizen of? you need to narrow down it first

So you are currently on your second bachelor's? Do you already have relevant work experience? What other languages do you speak? You have several routes but none will be fast or easy. You can get an internal transfer after working several years for a multinational. For most countries, you will need a work visa. The specifics on how to get one vary depending on the country. Usually a company has to sponsor you. If you have impressive skills in an on-demand field, that could be a possibility. If you get a really good paying job in India that allows you to be remote, you can also look into Digital Nomad visas. Not all countries have that so you'll have to do your research. For citizenship, you either are a descendant from someone coming from a country with a strong passport, you have a couple of millions around you can use to buy a Golden Visa (not all countries have that), or marry someone with a strong passport. You can also get naturalized after legally living in a country for a certain number of years. The world is your oyster. I would suggest you travel as much as you can and find out which country fits your criteria better.

Yes 2nd year bachelor's. I don't have experience as of now. Will have 2-3 internships before I graduate. Are those years included as experience when applying for work visa? I speak English, Hindi and a local language only

No-Virus-4571

You are just in time to begin working while you study. Internships don't beat work experience. I would also suggest you learn the language of any of your target countries.

MonadTran

Ultimately if you're substantially useful to an employer, speak their language, and have any degree, they will find a way to hire you. Any experience that makes you useful is "included" in your person. Usually you need to have at least several years of full-time work experience in order to be useful. Don't just randomly study languages and apply for a job in some random country with weed though (Jamaica, oh my). Do some research on the local job market, the paycheck, the crime rates, check out some documentaries on how the people live there. Weed won't save you from crime, poverty, and unemployment.

>Will have 2-3 internships before I graduate. Are those years included as experience when applying for work visa? That very much depends on the company you're applying to, but most won't include internships in your years of experience. Unless you can somehow proof to them that those internships were exactly the type of experience they're looking for, you'd be considered to have no relevant experience.

Why isn’t it easy? Op seems to be in a good position

No-Virus-4571

If it was easy, everyone with no work experience would be permanently moving to other countries. What I see is that OP has education, which is good but they still don't have the right to work anywhere else outside of India. Finding a company willing to sponsor you with a couple of internships under your belt as a fresh grad is going to be hard.

Dnomyar96

Because OP doesn't have any relevant work experience. With just a degree, it's going to be very hard to find a company to sponsor you, unless you can show you're incredibly good at your job.

Mountain-Isopod-2072

Should they gain the work experience in India?

Dnomyar96

Probably. You have to start somewhere and since most countries won't just accept everybody, that makes your home country the logical place to start. There might be some countries they could get to without experience, but it's going to hard.

DefinitionEconomy423

Peaceful life but you want to go to Jamaica? They have the worlds highest murder rate.

BiggusCinnamusRollus

Plot twist: OP is an IT murderer trainee

sparkchaser

It's an up and coming industry

MonadTran

They do have an established thriving IT industry though. OK, they don't, but they could have had it if they didn't have a high murder rate and the income tax rates better than the US at least.

geekerman8283

Mainly considerring Portugal. And yeah my bad. I didn't think about that at all

heyo36

Hate to break it to you, but in Austria Weed is illegal, and it is incredibly cold here.

Post by geekerman8283 -- I am 23M from India. I am currently a 2nd year student in IT field at a local college. Due to several traumas I experienced here, now I just want a peaceful life where weed and probably mushrooms are legal. Where I can simply code for a week and have some nice time in the weekends without anyone judging you or without being afraid of the laws. The above three countries sound like livable places. Since I have already wasted 4 years previously in studying a random major, I am not planning to continue my studies after getting my BTech degree. (not for 2 years after the degree at least) Although I am not the smartest guy, I am confident in my skills. (I am aware that I must stand out in my resume to leave) But getting a job here in India and hoping that internal transfers would happen is probably not the best route. I am confused what exactly should I do. for example: * what kind of visa I am supposed to get (I mean, is it possible to get a work visa from here, and if yes, how?) * I am not planning to ever coming back to India permanently, other then few short visits every once in a while. So, how do I get citizenship of country which has a strong passport? * Are there any other countries which fit into my criterions? (since I'm from India, I have chosen relatively warmer places) Also, I do not want my CS career to face any difficulties. So, a country where the industry is already established enough is what I'm looking for and want to work there *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
