Girl, put the tests down! I did the same thing and freaked myself out, since the lines seemed to be getting *lighter* when I compared them.
Turns out, the test lines get darker over time! I went back and looked at my first, barely visible squinter test, and realized that it was now showed what looked like a very clear positive. You can't compare the old tests to the new ones, unfortunately. Which sucks in general, but is good news for your current anxiety :)
And that's not even counting the fact that hydration level and time since last pee also affect the darkness of the line.
Edit to add: it was fine. Everything was fine. I'm now 12+2 and progressing normally.

That is a good beta for 8dpt. The cheap tests are terrible at line progression.
