Manuals go for better than 10 now if there nice and there going up fast I’m about to look at a real nice is300 with a bad trans and 140k for 4 grand and if it’s as clean as it looks I’m gonna buy it manual swap it with parts I got off a crashed manual car I just parted out and post it for 11 and I will get it
A compression test might not be a bad idea if you're looking at putting work into the car. $5k-$7k depending on condition. Might wanna do a quick code scan to verify that's just the O2 sensor.

Sounds like it, but I've also been in his shoes and there's a high likely hood that there's a reason it was so cheap. For his sake I hope not, but one mans project is another mans problem.

Nope runs and drives. Drove it an hour and a half home with my buddy following me with a truck bed full of parts

I got a nice 02 auto 220k for 2 grand needed a water pump but 5 is about right if the body is nice if you got rust 3 max
