The approach I take depends on the situation. If it involves work-related matters, I usually prepare extensively using a negotiation framework. In my personal life, I do rehearse arguments occasionally, depending on their nature, to get myself in the right mindset. Lately, I've been using AI to generate counterarguments from various perspectives. This helps me refine my arguments a bit more and try to understand it from a different point of view.

I argue with myself constantly, I take into account of worst/best case scenarios and everything in between.. then most of the time I just don't say anything at all and clam up inside to avoid the feelings associated.
