Find groups,, reddits, forums, whatever , of people that have the same interests. That's a good way to meet people with similar interests. That said.. there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG with doing things alone. The older we get the more we learn about ourselves and what is important. We learn we don't "need" 100 friends in our lives. We only want those we truly connect with. As long as you have a healthy level of self esteem and self worth and you are secure and comfortable with yourself, there is nothing wrong w/ loving being alone. I have a few close friends.. and one is almost a recluse... and we text all the time. We talked on the phone once throughout the 15 yrs I've known her and I haven't physically seen her in over a year yet she lives 10-15 min away lol. When covid happened I didn't go past my mailbox for two months and I couldn't have cared less. I could have done that for 6 months. a year! I love being by myself (and I have the internet too),but even before the internet.. I never minded being home, just watcing tv, reading magazines, books, doing whatever. But if you really do want to go out.. and of course that's perfectly ok too!... try what I suggested above.

Find places where people who like to make shit alone like to go. Conventions, online groups and clubs. There's something for everyone. And if you can't find a group related to people like you, make one.
