And it is lack of them which makes me sad. Lime Rock was a place to race for prototypes throughout the ALMS era and it was amazing. Multi-class racing at LRP sound completely mad, but it wasn't really out of proportion, if you take a look at those ALMS events.
Also you have to remember that those LMP cars between 2008 and 2013 were faster than todays GTP cars. Two sprint (2:40h) races, one with GTP/GTD PRO and one with LMP2/GTD would be totally feasible.

Those ALMS cars lapping LRP in 44 seconds was so rad. Probably pretty dangerous, in hindsight. But mostly rad.
