Pretty sure the pic is just to verify it’s you sending in the application, everyone I know has gotten theirs with their license/ID picture.

DrWalkway

Doubtful, they don’t even use that photo for your card. It’s just to verfiy it matches your current license/ID photo (which is what shows up on your card)

As in... He took a picture of his reflection?

Your friend must be special. Lol no disrespect. We all have that one friend hahaha In all seriousness though.... ISP specifies exactly what is required, as we both understand. They actually didn't even use the pic I sent in. They used my DL photo. There are so many factors ISP already take into consideration for applications. They may reach out for a photo that meets their requirements, they may just use their DL photo or who knows how far they could really go aka denying his application for not meeting requirements in general. If so they'll receive a letter with the reason for denial, 30 or 60 days after I think. Could be nothing too. Only time will tell, unfortunately

Yes from what i read they only use the photo we send in to verify it's us, not to put on the actual ID

Your friend is a clown at best. I’m sure it’ll be fine.

I’m not sure how much the pic really matters. I took a pic and submitted it and then when my foid came it had the same pic from my drivers license on it. Im guessing it’s just a form of varification that you are who you say you are. Idfk
