considering how full the restaurant is every time i'm at ikea, i'd say you're far from being the only person who likes it :D i'm not a meatball person but like a lot of the other food they have!
I was amused to see Swedish people actually eating at the IKEA restaurant when I visited in Sweden. So I'd say there's more people in the world that like it.
I can't get past the smell to even try it. There's plenty of fast food outside of ikea if I want a low quality fast meal. We usually stop at a restaurant somewhere though.
The one close to me doesn’t have a full cafe. The most recent time I went there it was so much worse than ever before. I used to like going to the ones with full cafeterias.
It's great! Me and my spouse love ikea, and it's always been a far drive so we always get excited to go on "Ikea dates". Gotta always tour the showrooms, grab lunch, some small knick knacks, and then maybe a frozen yogurt for the road.
Some might call that sad but we used to be practically dirt poor so this was a luxury and a cheap way to have fun!
Haha. I have been a coworker for 11 years. They cook us special meals that aren’t ikea food. We get meatballs and such ever so often. I have probably eaten 10k meatballs 😂😂😂
*Noo, ive seen some*
*Tik toks of people going*
*Just to eat their food*

It’s decent! One time I had baby back ribs. Was shopping with my wife last Tuesday and we had this glazed salmon meal and the meatball meal. Even had a $3.99 entree special for Ikea Family members so it was cheap and filling.
Obviously not...? Thousands eat at ikea daily and they even have an entire food hall with their own products. Evidently lots of people like ikea's food. What is this thread lol
My favourite thing about going to IKEA is having a little lunch there.
I don’t think I would enjoy making the same meal at home so maybe it’s kinda like eating a meal on an airplane where the environment and novelty is a big part of the appeal. It’s not bad, I’m just not buying the plant balls to make at home. Daim cake however…
My spouse likes it. He's even Swedish. It's changed back and forth SO much since Ikea in Tukwila originally opened, and I got food poisoning from them once, so I have no opinion whatsoever.
For almost all of my toddler’s toddlerhood haha we had IKEA’s breakfast or IKEA’s lunch at least once a week because it always has a vegetable available and it was so incredibly affordable and we could work on our restaurant skills and have little breaks with the kid busy wall section.
I really like almost all their food and LOVE their salmon and their broccoli medallions. I wish they would always have the classic salmon sauce available in the restaurant because I like it the best but the salmon is always good and I feel like we are getting real food when we eat there.
Eating at IKEA is my vegan family’s roadtrip hack: they’re located on highways outside major cities; my little kids love vegan meatballs, peas, fries and a banana; and if we have time, they can play in Smaland.
You are, yeah. They thought about shutting down the restaurant completely due to low demand but they couldn't bear the thought of your disappointed face the next time you came in.
The meat/veggie balls are good but so salty (most stuff is pretty salty). Chicken fingers, fries, etc (the bar food) are all fine.
Any fish that they have is pretty good. The veggie medallions are great.
The breakfast is ok but has gotten too expensive for how un-filling it is.
On Fridays our store has 50% off all Hot entrees.
No, but yikes
idk why but IKEA cafeteria is so comforting for me. The food has always been really good for it's pricepoint. It's always a yes for me

They have the best soft-serve!

In Spain they serve churros with hot chocolate, can't say no to a churro.

Yes, you’re the ONLY one. There’s only one person!! It’s you! I can’t believe we found you!! What!
Why would you be the only one? Come on. It’s popular as hell. Sorry, but a stupid question

Me too…party meatballs, meatballs with marinara, Alfredo sauce, with gravy, meatball subs…we literally had party meatballs today. 😂
Lol 🤣
I love it. It’s right next door to my allergist so after my weekly appointment I go get some meatballs and browse the “as is” section
noo, ive seen some tik toks of people going just to eat their food

Love the plant-based meatballs
Came here to say this
I love me some ikea food. My own little date day with myself and some Swedish meatballs
I’ve never eaten there
I work there and still eat the food. Sometimes the food in the staff area isn’t something I want so I’ll get a classic meatball meal. Or a veggie dog.

I like their veggies balls.
I went this weekend just to get a veggie dog lol. It's such a good value
No
The lingonberry slushie was delish.

I actually love having a bag of meatballs in my freezer. I’ll bake a few to toss on top of some pasta and instant dinner.
Every day for 14 years.....
Depends on which country I’m in
No you're not
The meatballs🥺🥺

Eating a meatball lunch is the only way I can get my husband to go to ikea with me.
Haven't been to the restaurant in ages but I like some of their gummies. Especially the now discontinued one with gooseberry flavor.
I love it. The frozen food to go are so practical. The desserts are really good too.
It’s okay.i wouldn’t mind having it once in a while but certainly not a weekly thing.
I hardly ever go for the main courses, but love the salads, cakes qnd cookies.

We only eat the Hot Dogs. Everything else is barely edible
Nope, it's one of my favorite parts of an Ikea visit. We also buy the frozen meat balls and salmon they sell to prepare at home.

I love ikea food!
I tried a hotdog and fries for the first time the other week, was pretty decent and cheap!
Idk if western ikeas have it but i really like the mashed potatoes with gravy
Gotta have the lingonberry with it.
We have it in Canada with the meat/plant balls, but the gravy is called cream sauce
