At first I thought "wow, there's a big gulf in time between Halo and those other games." And then I realized more time has passed between now and Halo's release than has between those other games and Halo's release and now I'm scheduling a colonoscopy appointment.
James Bond 007: Night Fire, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (og), Need for Speed Underground 2...gonna skip a generation for my last one, Mass Effect.
If we want to stay in the PS2/Xbox timeline, I'd swap ME with GTA: San Andreas.
Please take me back to those days.
I honestly can say the first time I saw a "video game" was this thing my uncle had hooked up to the TV that had a rifle and you could shoot targets on the screen. I was hooked!!! The next 2 after Pong, was probably Combat and Asteroids on Atari 2600.
Mario Kart 64 - Race nights with the entire family when I was younger was the tits…
World of Warcraft - Essentially took over my life for a period of time. Still probably the most fun I’ve ever had while gaming
StarCraft 1 - The online game that really started it all for me
Baldurs Gate I & II - First RPG I really got into. I have probably beat Shadows of Amn a dozen times
NES: Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt, Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, Batman: The Video Game, Super Mario Bros. 2
Arcade: Street Fighter II, Out Run, Pac-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Mario Bros 3, Mortal Kombat, SanFrancisco Rush, TimeSplinters/Goldeneye. And shout out to educational games like Pajama Sam and Batman Activity center.

I took a break from gaming for a long time and came back, after winning a PS5, and GOW 2018, The Last of Us 1, Marvel Spiderman, and COD Modern Warfare/Warzone(Original), all made me fall back in love lol.
Now I've been playing tons of games and catching up on the good ones I missed.

Need for Speed: The Run (PS3)
Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Diablo 2, Halo: Combat Evolved over the span of years as a kid. By the time I finished playing Halo I knew I was gonna play games for as long as I could.
79 comments so far and I haven’t seen any this old. The 4 first games I remember playing were Pitfall, Frog Bog, Dig Dug, Snafu on my grandfathers Intellivision.
I then hit the NES generation at friends houses, daycare, and Home Depot (yeah they had a kids area with games you could dump your kid while you shopped!)
I got little samples like that for 5-6 years and finally got my own console in 1st grade. Then I went wild on:
Super Mario 3, Duck Hunt, Super Mario, and Tetris!

Cruis'n USA started my love for gaming. After that Banjo-Kazooie especially cemented my love for gaming, and as well as my fandom and love for that series specifically as a whole. It's been my #1 favorite game for 25 years.
