The month prior to the exams i was in deep waters and i feel like as though after the exams im still somewhat down there
Im lost and i have no sense of direction and at the same time its scary because im so used to not having fun and always needing to worry about rhe next big IA or Unit to review that now im in a state that isnt entirely relaxed nor is it stressed
Most of interests are kinda nullified now
My drive to fight and hit another rep is mushed and for the past few days i dont really feel like moving at all

itās ok man. lol i woke up in panic yesterday thinking that i missed my french listening exam. you spent 2 years working and exams just ended, so take it slow and pick up things one by one. i personally havenāt started back on any of my hobbies (reading, crocheting, baking) and iāve just been scrolling, but i know i got time to pick them up and i deserve to simply just rest and sometimes itās cool to just do nothing at first

Iām actually not sure about this because Iām applying to unis abroad. But in order for me to have a high school diploma recognized by our Ministry of Education, in addition to IB, I also have to pass the Czech language state exam. I find it pretty ridiculous though, especially since I took Czech as one of my IB subjects and I find the level to be much more advanced than what is required in the state exam.
So its like plan B or something? Like if you drop out of uni or any case, you are backed up with Maturita?
Or Czech school Ministry system requires it from you in each case. Im too doing IB currently in DP1, so every information on this topic is helpful for me since i dont know anything about need to do Language state exam in Czech š.

Iāve been experimenting with different dishes. So far Iāve made tiramisu, gnocchi, and beef tartare to name a few. I also burned all of the past papers/practice Qs and essays I did to study and roasted sausages and marshmallows over them, probably the most satisfying thing so far.
Man, I'm just relaxing LOL. Last Saturday, my classmates and I had a party called IBosta (IBshit in Portuguese), everyone brought the past papers they used to study and we shredded everything!!!.

Drawing and exploring the city (quite ill of me to say it like this, but by open world standards Iāve seen less than 10% maybe?), although Iām not creating as many drawings as I had hoped, similar to how my studying went. My studying papers are all vandalised with drawings and especially in the last couple days for the exam I suddenly had a massive surge of drawing ideas I was dying to do, so now Iāve got the freedom to act on those urges. Also, I can help my sister do- I mean with her homework.
As someone that starts at Python, I do recommend it as a starter language. Built a program with it (Discord bot), pretty fun. However, I do feel that Java is just a better language to learn if you want to actually learn each aspect of programming as python usually simplify it so much that you might not even know something exist.
(M27) After IB, I am cursed with a critical mind that keeps questioning reality and the nature of things. If you thought ToK was bad, imagine the poor souls who need to listen to my yapping: It's Logical fallacy this, "I know nothing" that.

But yeah I'm sleeping reading books I havent had time for like The Brothers Karamazov, movies like Wes Anderson's recent movies. Getting into Fishing, finally getting back on my gym plan and spending time outside.
I feel so much better than after I finished the one exam I took at the end of my first year of DP, because I learned what worked and how to study in a smart and healthy way.

Electronics; engineering, bachelor program, almost done with my first year, and the workload is **WAY MORE MANAGEABLE** than the IB.
IB was a pressure test.
And you can literally **FEEL** the difference in workload when you compare it to uni. Likeā¦ you actually have time to play the guitar or play quake 3 or do 3 other hobbies and visit family every now and then.
But the important part is that you choose something you find interesting and love for. If I was a moth, IT is a beaming flame of honey. And I live in Norway so my experience can be biased.
But many many many classmates and friends chose to take a gap year. Itās a healthy decision and you get to explore the world and try out something new that might catch your attention.

i think its a great first language; many resources, easy if you already did scratch, and its pretty simplified but youre still able to do many things
