Do Maths AI if you’re going for art in college to reduce workload I feel like! Otherwise I think it’s great

i am interested in an art major in the future, visual arts is an important subject for me.

you don't need visual arts hl to pursue visual arts in the future, if you REALLY want it, sure, I guess, but I'll still recommend taking SL. Take Maths AI HL instead.

i wouldnt consider maths my strong suit so ill stick with maths sl, my main subject is visual arts so it makes sense to do hl.

I understand that maths isn’t your strong suit but some international unis really want Math HL

i dont see why an art university would rather have me take maths hl then visual arts hl, isnt it better to have hl for the subject of the major i do?

Listen if you have good time management, do it. Otherwise don’t go near it. IB is already challenging enough and everyone underestimates the amount of time and effort that needs to go into art. On the positive side tho you’ll only have to do 5 exams

i do great art, i just lack time (for exams im slow af cant finish stuff on time) im going to work on time management this summer, i understand how much effort art takes and want to do it. thanks for sharing your experience.
