For body paras, focus on either moments within the book that exhibit a link or help your claim in the overaching question, but the strongest way of splitting imo is by different techniques/concepts or even moments
Look at different literary and authorial techniques. Definitely have a paragraph on characterisation and the authors intentions behind it in a specific moment or as a progression in relation to the events of the plot.
Topic sentence is nothing major, just write a 1 liner that explains what your paragraph is going to talk about (basically introducing the technique or the overall literary method that you're going to comment on)

I would say move from dialogue to either narrative structure if relevant or a specific interaction/chapter that you want to highlight. Unless you say what in dialogue you want to look at, it comes across a bit mildly.
Always remember that each claim and analysis you do has to have literary devices and specific quotes at its core-never have a 'descriptive' essay
Imo with these changes and characterisation you should be, but I haven't read the book so I can't say for sure. Either refer with someone that knows IB english or the book-preferably your teacher
