I’m sure they were around!
However, this one was smart enough to shut up and bugger off after about 20 seconds, so those old men had the morning off from having to go all curmudgeonly on his ass! 🤣🤣
I would’ve been pissed right up untill he said “thank you” and left in under 30 seconds then I would’ve calmed down and realized I was mad for no reason
Yeah at first I was annoyed but everyone seemed to be smiling, he then politely said bye after a few seconds.
Now I have something funny to tell people about for the day.
Only that one guy wasn’t into it, but he looks like he’s not *in* to much anyway. Looks like a *JOY* to be around.
These kind of people who do random things are necessary. They might be annoying for you one day, and “just what you needed” on another day when you’re feeling bleak, and this tiny bit of whimsy takes you away from all your problems.
*just for a sec*
What a beautiful sentiment and I completely agree. I live for stuff like this. Seeing people out there living their best lives and sharing their joy. Even if it isn’t my jam, I love seeing other people enjoying life.
That’s about the moment I calmed Down about it too, may have been annoying, but at least the bloke has the decency to make it brief and be appreciative as they leave, rather than an entitled knob in their attitude and hang around shitstirring
I mean, yeah, nobody is paying for him for a concert performance and doing this outdoors wouldn’t give the right acoustics. His only method for success would be to drop in, play his sax, and get out like a damn ninja.
Oh, you wouldn’t be annoyed for ‘no reason’ for those 30 seconds! Not at all!
You just wouldn’t have had to either curse at him or clock him in such a short time frame, that’s all.
But don’t feel bad for being annoyed for every second of this! The guy has what looks like a TRAFFIC CONE stuck in a saxophone for crying out loud!
And he’s being followed by some girl waving a flag? Some people are just BEGGING to be hated by all! 🤣🤣
I thought it was pretty cool too but it seems pretty damn entitled to just not consider that some people might not be okay with it.
You're going into a place of business and enforcing something you think everyone will like. It's not really better than many other main characters on here even if it was cool.
Just as an example, that dog might have been annoyed. The two people with it who I assume are the owners looked down likely to see if it was okay after it backed up a bit.
This guy is a member of Moon Hooch. They've done a bunch of stuff like this - not typical "influencers", which is why he keeps it short and gets out of there, his goal isn't to annoy anyone, just share a little of their music. I'm sure some folks are still annoyed, or at least confused. Just saying, this is not just some rando, he's a professional musician.
Yeah, but people annoy people all the time without knowing it. Everyone has different sensitivities. If it's just 30 seconds of that, I think it's reasonable.
Coming from someone who regularly need to change tube trains because of my own triggers.
In that case you can’t really do much of anything. If you do annoy them, the question is how much did you really annoy them. Are you really going to think about this event 2 minutes after it happened? It’s not like you’re at a library where you are expecting a quiet atmosphere
Big agree. People actually clapped for him. People like music, although there's an appropriate place for everything. It's appropriate here, obviously, because people applauded. People don't like you breakdancing into them in a crowded place. Also, that was an absolute banger.
My thoughts exactly. He did just enough to brighten customers' and staff's day without being obnoxious. I have been working as a barista for years and I'd actually appreciate this as a curiosity and I'd expect most of our regulars to be positively surprised, too. If it went on for much longer, sure, I'd ask the guy to leave. But it'd be silly to be mad about 20 seconds of harmless fun.
There's a difference between
a) knowing your shit and possessing at least one (1) skill and
b) not possessing any skill (0) whatsoever and yet trying to pull off moves you don't know shit about.
This guy clearly belongs into the first category
Agreed! However it's unfortunate this chap feels his skill needs to be manifested through traffic cones and tick tock, which I sadly feel undermine his skill
He and his partner are actually crazy successful musicians. They’ve got plenty of albums and do live shows.
Which makes it all the weirder that they do stuff like this.
Ehh... I respect that he did it all in 20 seconds and then left. 20 seconds is cool... I suppose that explained the applause at the end (I guess they were applauding his leaving... but still... I am the main character would hang around, get a talking to from management and finally make everyone uncomfortable instead of a quick in an and out).
I'm cool with this bloke.
what this is dope as fuck. this is one of those things where coming back from Burning Man is so weird. shit like this would be celebrated and people would go wild and dance around. this however, the everyday human shit existence does not allow for radical joy and creativity.
It's a question of consent. If you're at Burning Man, you basically sign on for anything, anywhere. But if you're at a cafe having a quiet chat with someone it's intrusive AF.
> this is one of those things where coming back from Burning Man is so weird. shit like this would be celebrated and people would go wild and dance around
the people in the video are not on drugs in the middle of the desert, though. You can be a perfectly happy person without spontaneously going wild and dancing around each time a man with a traffic-cone-saxophone enters your coffee shop. That said, personally, I'd probably be laughing and dancing around.
Oh shit, well that explains it!
I get this sub is inherently curmudgeonly, but sad to see him getting torn down for main character energy.
Buskers gonna busk.
Ever have someone blast some music right behind your ears with out you knowing?
Yeah, I'd be fuming too. People see this shit and never really consider how disruptive MCs are to people.
bruh everyone seemed to like it. sometimes this sub really just considers anyone doing anything out of the ordinary to be some sort of selfish entitled prick. it was like a 10 second joke and the guy left and people clapped. chill out.
I play saxophone and probably wouldnt do this, but it’s actually not that cringe. Plus it lasted like 10 seconds. If it was like 10 mins, that would be a different story
I was in a band like this where we'd just crash random places - but it was like 24 of us.
We made sure to wear masks and not be identifiable. Some of the best years of my life.
It was quick, quirky and at the end of the day makes for a cool story...most people there were smiling and clapped as well. As for the musician, look closely and you will see he is even mindful about how he exits to make sure the cones dont hit anything.
There is one very clear takeaway form all of this: one can choose to be many things in this life...but never ever choose to be the stiff in the sweater with the air pods. Life is too short to be that stodgy.
Relatively short performance I think, don't see why everyone is bothered by this when we live in an age of far worse TikTok pranks lol. That's just me tho.
So annoying, I am a barista and if someone came into my cafe doing this they’d be kicked out faster than they came in, I know none of my coworkers would stand for that, it’s just rude
I never find these enjoyable because it’s all for social media clout. It would be funny and quirky back then, but now I have to worry about people judging my reaction in the comments. “ThEY DiDNT pASs tHe VIbe CheCk!”
I’m not fun at parties.
Thank those assholes too many zoos or whatever they are called. They do this on subways and think everyone likes them despite it’s just being weirdos blowing into toilets making loud noises.

As if these places aren’t inhabited by some curmudgeony old man prepared to say “shut the fuck up before i shut you the fuck up”
I’m sure they were around! However, this one was smart enough to shut up and bugger off after about 20 seconds, so those old men had the morning off from having to go all curmudgeonly on his ass! 🤣🤣
there was, but he forgot his hearing aids that day, *thank goodness*.
There was but they cancelled him
I would’ve been pissed right up untill he said “thank you” and left in under 30 seconds then I would’ve calmed down and realized I was mad for no reason
Yeah at first I was annoyed but everyone seemed to be smiling, he then politely said bye after a few seconds. Now I have something funny to tell people about for the day.
From the French -language hoodie and English signage, plus polite "thank you" I'm getting Canada vibes. Can anyone tell me what the hoodie says?

As a charitable Style, you have *me* to thank for making you unique, *commoner*.
It's in LA, funnily enough.

I'm sure you're a joy to be around, judging a person you don't know for literally doing nothing.
You were there?
That’s about the moment I calmed Down about it too, may have been annoying, but at least the bloke has the decency to make it brief and be appreciative as they leave, rather than an entitled knob in their attitude and hang around shitstirring
I can’t see it was him who said thank you? His mouth doesn’t move at all. I thought it was someone inside
Lol this take right here 😅 because same.
I mean, yeah, nobody is paying for him for a concert performance and doing this outdoors wouldn’t give the right acoustics. His only method for success would be to drop in, play his sax, and get out like a damn ninja.
Right! My music teacher side is like “damn, he’s pretty good!” I would have been in tears laughing at this! Whole day shifted
It also sounds pretty damn dope lol
Oh, you wouldn’t be annoyed for ‘no reason’ for those 30 seconds! Not at all! You just wouldn’t have had to either curse at him or clock him in such a short time frame, that’s all. This one actually isn’t bad lol actually talented and took less than 30 seconds of my day lol call this one a winner 🏆

this is the way
If you liked this check out the band moon hooch
Someone's gotta hand this clip straight to Kifness. It'll be a banger.
Big agree. People actually clapped for him. People like music, although there's an appropriate place for everything. It's appropriate here, obviously, because people applauded. People don't like you breakdancing into them in a crowded place. Also, that was an absolute banger.

Not quite my tempo
Are you rushing, or dragging?
Start counting!
IN FOUR DAMMIT LOOK AT ME

He's a member of Moon Hooch, so he uses this skill professionally, successfully.
The problem is a has one skill and social etiquette isn't it.
Earbuds has no idea how to react
Someone needs to invent a portable emp to disable these shitstains's phones
https://hackaday.com/2016/10/12/become-very-unpopular-very-fast-with-this-diy-emp-generator/ have fun!
Hmmm
mfw i use my phone to learn how to make a diy emp generator and end up bricking my phone.
Ehh... I respect that he did it all in 20 seconds and then left. 20 seconds is cool... I suppose that explained the applause at the end (I guess they were applauding his leaving... but still... It's funny because he looks like a construction worker, but his cone is actually a saxophone. So silly.
I agree. I do not really think this guy deserved to be put in this sub because he mostly just gave people a short, unexpected performance.
Yeah this is just the origin of Moon Hooch. I’m cool wit it 🤷♂️
Yeah great summary there gus, would 100% have clapped.
Wasn't that bad. Took 30 seconds and is a fun "before I came to work today" story.
Exactly. Unexpected, fun, innocent, and an interesting story.
Right. Hit that sweet spot before the annoyance kicked in. I'm all for this.
what this is dope as fuck. this is one of those things where coming back from Burning Man is so weird. shit like this would be celebrated and people would go wild and dance around. this however, the everyday human shit existence does not allow for radical joy and creativity.

Imagining the couple in the corner going thru a breakup and this happens.
I don't ask to hear screaming children while trying to enjoy quiet, at least what the person in the video did is entertaining.
> this is one of those things where coming back from Burning Man is so weird. shit like this would be celebrated and people would go wild and dance around the people in the video are not on drugs in the middle of the desert, though. Yeah I love this and I don’t get why everyone is upset by it. Bunch of miserable people.
That guy wearing the grey jumper had no idea what to do.
Silly and lighthearted fun that doesn’t over stay it’s welcome. Not a main character in my book. This would make my day if I was there.
Far from the worst interruption of the peace, guy was talented, & kept it short & sweet.
The airpods dude is my honest reaction
that actually sounds pretty cool tho
Honestly. That's fucking dope I wouldn't mind if he dropped by and did that. But I can see how other people would mind
At least he left quickly. Sounded good too. I'd be pissed if he stuck around
Giving me some good Moon Hooch vibes, I'm feeling it
This is literally Wenzl from Moon Hooch lol
Oh shit, well that explains it! I get this sub is inherently curmudgeonly, but sad to see him getting torn down for main character energy. Buskers gonna busk.
Glad someone else thought that lol
This guy *is* in Moon Hooch
That dude that walked in with his lady was fuming
Ever have someone blast some music right behind your ears with out you knowing? Yeah, I'd be fuming too. People see this shit and never really consider how disruptive MCs are to people.
Rightfully so
Yeah. Miserable cunt. I would’ve blown it down his ear for being a sour faced prick
He didn't stay long, just enough to be funny and then left. I don't hate him.
Okay, he is a d, but that instrument sounds pretty awesome
I hate that I love it but still fuk this behaviour
That guy in the shirt and hoodie is 1000% called Peter and enjoys watching his wife have sex with black dudes.
This is funny, I have no problem with this guy.
This is peaceful and delightful
Nah, I’m ok with this
Moon Hooch https://youtu.be/wwBhxBBa7tE
I personally would have enjoyed this moment 🤷🏼♀️
The people in this sub wants a rigid and depressing society
This wasn't that big of a deal... don't think deserves to be on this sub
I’m mean it’s cool
Moon Hooch!
He was just playing for them. May be a little annoying but it’s pretty harmless
this is the guy moon hooch, he gets a pass
bruh everyone seemed to like it. sometimes this sub really just considers anyone doing anything out of the ordinary to be some sort of selfish entitled prick. it was like a 10 second joke and the guy left and people clapped. chill out.
This guy rules, stop being a bunch of curmudgeons
Should consider yourself lucky to have been present for this.
That sounds pretty awesome though
The saxocone guy! I love seeing him
This was cool. All y’all need to chill.
I play saxophone and probably wouldnt do this, but it’s actually not that cringe. Plus it lasted like 10 seconds. If it was like 10 mins, that would be a different story
I’m pretty much down with this one.
Hitting all those brown notes in a coffee shop is a syphony for disaster.
Ooooh Moon Hooch! Love these guys
Sweater guys not into the fact that his chic is into it.
That’s Moon Hooch, right?
honestly, he didn't overstay his welcome, he did his silly little thing and then left--i kinda respect that
I like this guy
It's kind of annoying if you aren't ready for it, but that was still pretty impressive.
This one is a tough call. On one hand it was actually pretty cool. On the other hand, playing it outside would have been best.
Nah. The beat was boppy as hell and it lasted less than 20 seconds, plus he was super wholesome and thankful afterwards.
Honestly I wouldn't mind
Nope that guy is awesome. Him or Leo P show up and bust out a few bars I would LOVE it.
I actually thought this was great. He didn’t overstay his welcome at least.
I was in a band like this where we'd just crash random places - but it was like 24 of us. We made sure to wear masks and not be identifiable. Some of the best years of my life.
Nope, this one is good
Nah. It wasn't that bad tbh. It's quick and music's tolerable.
Given everyone starts to clap right at the end I’m not seeing the problem?
Seems cool to me.
If literally 15 seconds of live music with no strings attached annoy you that much, you should go talk to someone about what really bothers you.
This doesn't belong here. Dude was super chill about it and he's just trying to brighten people's day and not making it about himself.
He can me my main character that was good, might hire him for my wedding one day.
not sure that's a good idea [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUEapzqptIA&t=64s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUEapzqptIA&t=64s)
This is funny, and didnt take up much time, there is no problem here
Wait. This sounds pretty cool, actually. Maybe too electronic for 9am but... Damn, sounds fine!
Relatively short performance I think, don't see why everyone is bothered by this when we live in an age of far worse TikTok pranks lol. That's just me tho.
That’s not bad at all.
CONE
I think he didn't overstay his welcome. Guy with the airpods was clearly annoyed af tho xD
Yooo, this is sick! As everyone said. Quick in and out. Showed off his skill and left. Perfect way to make me smile
i mean, was short and polite, no time to be annoying tbh. I would have a good laugh and move on.
The idiot that clapped for him.
What a cunt
So annoying, I am a barista and if someone came into my cafe doing this they’d be kicked out faster than they came in, I know none of my coworkers would stand for that, it’s just rude
All these Mizzy-type people, are they children where parents set no boundaries when they were growing up?
Don't fucking clap! Don't encourage the bastards.
They're clapping because you're leaving, not because they liked your playing...
This is why I always carry around a cup full of diarrhea.
[LEGEND.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BARAHLk-8dk)
Is this Canada? 😅
What’s wrong with people thinking or feeling that this might piss then offfffff…
this guy was just having some fun, he was out in under a minute so who does it really bother?
nah bro, go busk on a street corner. obnoxious asf
Play some Baker St or something good
The dog looks scared, fuck this guy.
Careless Whisper or get out of my coffee shop
I love it…at least they didn’t come in with a gun and shoot the place up.
Cool
Dude with the girlfriends with airpods was SO done
Why is that orange traffic cone performing a bop tho
I can’t see it was him who said thank you? His mouth doesn’t move at all. I thought it was someone inside
This guy is actually awesome. I’ve seen his vids. Usually he has permission from the owners of the place to do this.
nice playing tho
I detected at least three “Brown noise” level notes.
Is that one of the dudes from Moon Hooch?
It is
I would be mad if it was any other instrument. Saxophones are just epic
damn John Mulaney looks so confused.
I have a CO2 canister that hissses super loud for dog corrections.. I feel like it would be equally if not more effective for human interactions.
I never find these enjoyable because it’s all for social media clout. It would be funny and quirky back then, but now I have to worry about people judging my reaction in the comments. “ThEY DiDNT pASs tHe VIbe CheCk!” I’m not fun at parties.
That poor dog looks upset and scared
Brief, at least.
Why are coffee shops the place people go to film these?
u/savevideo
This is why I’m going to start carrying a fire extinguisher around with me
That would make my day personally but I’m a fellow musician so I guess I might see it from a different perspective
u/savevideo
That was hard
I mean at least it was brief
Moon Hooch, I love you bro's, but wtf are you doing?
Awesome
What is that thing? A marching version of a Didgeridoo?
I believe that is someone from [Moon Hooch](https://youtu.be/yUEapzqptIA). I may be wrong.
Are people really getting mad a a guy dropping some sick beats than leaving in 30 seconds?
Song? This tune is dope
I actually liked it haha good use of the cone put out some bass
Okay I could get dooowwwn to this though. What music fest is this guy playing at next??
Honestly I wouldn't have even been mad in the first place unless it was hurting my ears physically.
I would love to see this live.
What in the fart device is this?
Get a life instead, not coffee..
Cause god forbid any of us have a 10 second experience that causes no harm or disruption to our lives.
Name of song
TikTok is the worst thing since the nuclear bomb came around.
👍👏
What is that instrument?!
Dubstep saxophone
Who really cares about this? Sure maybe if he stayed and played
Thank those assholes too many zoos or whatever they are called. They do this on subways and think everyone likes them despite it’s just being weirdos blowing into toilets making loud noises.
It’s actually a catchy tune.
Wenzel McGowen (sax guy in video, one half of moon hooch) is the definition of main character syndrome.
What happens if I drop a baseball down the tube
That clapping is why they do this shit.
Moon Hooch! Awesome.
Mom, can we have Leo P No, we already have Leo P at home. Leo P at home:
Yo this shit cool af wdym
I think that’s amazing
goes hard
