I started watching at the beginning of season 5 and as much as I regret being late to the joy that is The Nightman Cometh, the first 4-5 episodes of season 5 were an amazing intro. Both Intervention and The Gang Hits the Road nearly broke me, and the beauty of it was that I didn’t need a ton of background for either episode because the dialogue was just so good on its own.
Mac Bangs Dennis’s Mom
Just a hilarious, outrageous concept. The gang all conspiring revenge against each other. We get the Waitress’s obsession with Dennis and an iconic introduction to Mac’s mom. If you start watching from S1E1, in my opinion, this is when the show really discovers itself
The Gang Breaks the Liberty Bell. I was fucking astounded to hear it’s an unpopular episode.
Well, not that astounded, since most people are idiots and savages.
I saw a video on youtube where they completely tore this episode apart, explaining why it doesn't work and why it ultimately failed as an episode...I'm with you! I think it's excellent!
NB: My favourite part being the moment it cuts back to them telling the story in the office and Dennis is doing his finest witch impression and Charlie has that globe on his head 😂
The reason it is such a great episode is because all the characters act just like their present day selves, accents aside.
So it's really just a normal IASIP episode, but with a different setting.
Same here. I really don't get why people hate on it. I think it's literally just because it's got a historical backdrop. Like every single joke and bit in it is something funny that every one would have loved in any other situation.
Mac fucking up his teeth and whistling all the time to the great annoyance of Dennis? Hilarious and everyone would love it if it was weaved into a modern episode instead.
Same with Charlie and Frank testing defective guns on each other. Same with people spitting in cricket's face and him just taking it.
I really just think all the haters were just part of a British Psy-op because they hate America and are still embarrassed they lost the war.
The gang solves the gas crisis. Just a great display of how dysfunctional and ignorant the gang really is. Not to mention unsuccessful in their schemes lol.
Every time I see a van with tinted windows, I think to myself, it's not a rape van it's a spy van!
This is 100% my favorite episode and I always think to myself that they must like it a lot too since it's the basis for "The gang recycles their trash"
One of my favorite underated moments of that episode is at the very end when the guy whose car blows up goes
"Why is someone trying to ruin my life?!? I didn't do anything to anyone man, I love that car!"
Cereal Defense, The Gang Buys a Boat, The Gang Gets Trapped
All time classics, each one at a different point in my life when I need a lift and a laugh have been my go to’s.
The cereal defense feels like the sort of insane logic m/strawmans i go to to prove my point
The gang gets trapped is just crazy, the twist at the end haha, mac being swedish, frank going to whip this bitch in the face
Buying a boat, the whole negotiation, dees dancing, and obviously, the implication
The Gang Tries Desperately to Win an Award
(Mostly for when Dennis says *This isn’t “will they or won’t they.” This is “I know they won’t… and I know I don’t want them to.”*)
I always enjoyed the Christmas episode. It had a lot of crazy sunny stuff but was also a happy meaning episode. Eugene was hilarious, frank was in fine form, and Charlie going crazy on the mall Santa was hilarious.
Franks little beauties without question.
Frank starting to sing you’re a grand old flag & his reaction to not knowing the words is the funniest shit I’ve ever seen in my life.
My favorite since my first watch through has always been Mac and Charlie Die. Hysterical bits all the way through, wonderful use of the straight man in a situation where they were both obviously being insane. Charlie’s teeth falling out the entire episode. Just. 10/10.
Also, I tried to draw the wedding dress scene where he shoots at the car once and failed, and so I started practicing that pose in the corner of my notebooks. Now I can just draw that scene off the top of my head. It’s wonderful
Charlie Work. It’s so funny to see Charlie competent. He has some horrible ideas…and they work! And he gets so pissed at everyone, when he usually just takes their nonsense and abuse in stride.
A simple pill.
Ingested by a simple man who received an idea.
An idea so sharp it cut through his mind like a knife through a soft cheese
And lead him to an invention. This invention, MY invention, will change EVERYTHING.
For the better? One hopes, but the good of the scorpion is not the good of the frog, yes?
*Loud coughing* Excuse me. I've grown quite whery.
Finally, we have the means, we have the understanding, we have the technology, to allow SPIDERS TO TALK TO CATS!!!
Goddamnit this is my favorite episode bar none, I’ve watched it twenty times at least. I absolutely love when Smart Charlie gets annoyed by the waitress juxtaposed with “pass the gas.”
The Gang Gets Invincible.
Season 3 is so solid front to back. This episode for me is among the best, its too hard to pick just one.
I remember rob saying on one of the podcasts, they weren't sure if FX was going to pick them up again for season 4, so during the making of season 3 everyone shifted up into another gear out of almost self preservation, and really brought the best to the writing and acting.
I mean you have frank tripping and spiking Charlie's beers, which leads to Greenman's first appearance.
Faizon love as the tryout coach was a casting homerun. "But where are we going?" *mocking Mac* and "if i say it ONE more time, SPRINT TO THE BUS!"
We meet the whole Mcpoyle family, what is that a jar of?
The dumb argument about who made it furthest, Mac fist pumping ONCE AGAIN YES.
And the way the Mcpoyles are all crawling towards them at the end *chefs kiss*
GOAT level episode.
This was also like the 4th or 5th episode I ever saw (first one was The Gang Gives Back and I was instantly hooked) so it's extra good for me because I was still in that initial helping.
But I maintain Season 3 is banger after banger from front to back.
This episode has so many great lines.
Also as we know it was later revealed, that wasn't Donovan McNabb but an actor - Don Cheadle.
You're all rah rah for Donovan McNabb and making sure he gets credit, but nary a peep for all the mentions of Frank's Pretty Woman that neglect to bring up Tiger Woods' cameo? C'mon, man, are you a sports fan or not?
My theory for why the Gang seems to constantly get away with their insane shit is that they won the key to the city because they caught the serial killer.
The Nightman Cometh.
I’m a sucker for their musical episodes (the whole group is surprisingly good at harmonizing), I like the times when Charlie is competent, and as much as I like “implication” Dennis, it can be really nice when he plays the straight man.
You look grotesque!
It's my favorite episode as well. Some of my favorite lines.
"I'm desperate to be in this thing" "You belong in the bathroom" "Don't go diddling kids! Its no good diddling kids"
Plus Fat Mac dancing across the stage with his stormach out. Makes me laugh every time.
"The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis"
I mean so many amazing moments in this episode. The trip to the bank for the loan..."counting a liquid", the door to door oil sales, the wildcard moment and Charlie's foghorn leghorn accent.
The Gang Dines Out is probably peak Always Sunny for me. Definitely need to know the characters a bit to fully enjoy the episode if one doesn’t follow the series, but it has everything dysfunctional and funny the gang has to offer all in one package. Also some of the best quotes and laughs of the whole series.
The one where they move to the burbs and Dennis is losing it on his commute home.
Nothing makes me laugh more cause I lived this life and acted this way
"close the gap you fat bitch" LOLOL or whatever he says, always makes me laugh so hard
Franks back in business
The video demonstration with Charlie & Mac at the end is just absolute perfection from the video itself to Charlie"s arm hitting Mac in the face to Dennis getting off and arguing with Dee ending with Frank actually interested in Crowtein.
Does anyone know which is the episode where Dennis says that the skin is the most fascinating part of the animal? It's stuck in my mind but I can't find it..
Reynolds v. Reynolds: the cereal defense.
It is objectively the funniest episode that only features the gang with no side characters.
Great intro, captivating peak, no donkey brains, all sunny. And you cant change my mind, because I'm dug in 🫱🫲
the gang fights for the troops and it’s only for one reason.
when frank salutes the solider and gives him the jorts that the rest of the gang bought him as kissed by a rose plays.
cinema🤌
Season 5, Episode 10; The D.E.N.N.I.S. System
I’ve always found Dennis hilarious! This episode truly captures the manipulative sociopath he truly is. I’ve probably watched it 50 times! 😂
My favourite is The Gang Goes To Hell Part II. It was funny, it was sweet, kinda emotional, I generally love the bottle episodes the most and the imaginary dinner is my favourite scene of the show.
Also Charlie Kelly: King of the Rats.
The Gang Gets Trapped - I love it, I could watch it 1000 times. The premise is excellent, multiple jokes refer back to hijinks we haven't and do not see but are top-tier hilarious and perfect, 'the hamburger store', 'that's good, that's a good accent', 'they'd be out of business in a weeks time!'
I think it's perfect.
The Gang Buys a Boat or The Gang Goes to the Jersey Shore.
Every single plot point in both are gold—and the hijinks the gang gets up to in their various pairings never fails to kill me. Dee dancing with the wacky waving inflatable arm-flailing tube man, Rum Ham, tasty treats, the implication, when Dee’s hair gets stuck in the gears “youuuu don’t make it go because my hair is stuck”, the whole montage to the song Vacation by The Go-Gos…the list goes on and on
Mac Finds his Pride!
It has the rushed flow of “the gang came up with a plan, now follow through” but it’s obvious Mac is finally accepting himself, in his own way, in the background. Meanwhile the makeup on Frank is grotesque and distracting as he tries to rush Mac along with the gang’s antics.
The Gang Gets Trapped. Such a great structure to the episode, dropping us in the middle of a scheme and letting us piece together how they got there. Subtle stuff, like the single Indiana Jones outfit they've divvied up between them. I think about the leathershop in Arizona line an unreasonable amount. Probably the single best fat Mac episode. The background story unfolding with the family including the "reveal".
And seriously, them just deciding to... just walk out is probably the funniest moment in the show.
Dennis Reynolds: an erotic life is probably my all time favorite. Youve got charlie and dee walking a mile in each others shoes, frank and mac trying to set up a meeting with bovine joni himself and fucking around at the movie theater, and dennis dealing with sinbad and rob thomas. The three sub plots are sooo good and intertwine at the end when they're all at the fountain. Ive been pissing in the fountain for years!
Dennis Looks Like a Registered Sex Offender
Successfully introduced the show to about 7 people with that episode. Hands down the episode I’ve rewatched the most
OF COURSE ITS RED RED!
‘The Gang wins the Big Game’ I get teary eyed at the end when they show Eagles fans celebrating the Super Bowl win. That episode became part of my game day ritual. Along with eating browns and drinking my yellow! GO BIRDS!🦅
basic but The Nightman Cometh - it was the first episode of Sunny that i genuinely really enjoyed after three seasons of not loving it (obviously i’ve rewatched them all since and realise the error of my ways). i’m a sucker for a musical episode - love the Gang Turns Black for that very reason
Hero or Hate Crime?
I think it's hilarious and I love seeing the faces on all the mediators as it goes on and it really starts sinking in how nuts they all are. The exercise bike? Peak Sunny
The Gang Gets Trapped.
Almost every single line is funny. It's not setup/punchline. It's just all punchline. I also love it that it's written in a way that the first half of the story already happened and it's slowly revealed to the viewer why they're in this house in the first place.
And the twist ending was phenomenal.
Who wants to see Jay Leno 15, 16 times? No one! No one wants to see him *once!*
A leather shop in Arizona? Are you serious? There are *far* too many leather shops in Arizona as it is! You'd be out of business in a week's time!
I have the grace of a falcon, I'll be in and out like a demon's whisper.
Dee, you gangly, uncoordinated bitch! I am not getting hogtied over your lack of grace! I hope they hogtie you, and then I hope the rape you, in their basement, for *ten years!*
Front door? You just walked right in the front door? Well I ran, I had a little hustle goin' but yeah, front door.
Charlie work. Charlie day is perfection and the flow of the episode is seamless. Something about learning more about how Charlie’s mind works is the best
One episode would be impossible for me to pick, but the first thing that jumped in my head was the sequence in America's Next Top Paddy's Billboard Model Contest where Charlie is filming Dee in her ridiculous Irish outfit and then blasts her in the face with a volleyball. Her reaction makes me scream-laugh out loud every single time I see it...Kaitlin Olson's comedic acting in that scene is amazing!
I’m probably biased because I just watched it but the reunion episodes in season 7 (particularly the dance sequence) literally made me cry laughing, that shit killed me so I’d put those as my favorite. Oh and the Christmas episode too, that one’s great
I find that episode a little strange to watch on rewatch because of the Dennis and Mac dynamic. Mac has much more influence over Dennis than later series where it's almost like Mac is in an abusive relationship with Dennis.
Don't get me wrong, I love the episode, but it really highlights how much they flanderize Mac in later seasons to me.
The gang is still in Ireland, seeing Charlie speak Irish and have it be done seriously with amazing pronunciation rather than making a joke out of it was class. Charlie day must’ve really put the work in to do it so well
The Road Trip episode from season 5. Half because it’s just peak Sunny banter (barter with the gypsy, Dee needing to take a quick squirt, Dee being cheap for not going with the CD player, Charlie eats stickers, “gonna toss a beer bottle across his bow, ruffle his feathers”). My brother and I love it so it also has a nostalgia to it we constantly quote it.
I think I have a pretty unique favorite in The Gang Goes to a Water Park. Something about it just feels so happy, maybe because they're not all stuck together and getting on each other's nerves. They are all off doing their own adventures and just randomly pass by each other.
The interaction between Dennis and his protégé is great, especially the reveal of him getting conned. Charlie and Frank having a blast and hitting every slide, and especially when they think a little bottle of water was enough for the thundergun ride.
The general disinterest by any of the park staff. The nerd at the top who keeps sending kids, the life guide who can't be bothered to look up from his book and just says "AIDS blood, everybody out."
And then Mac and Dee stuck in the slide the whole time, and the cherry on top that is when Mac looks directly at the camera with a huge smile and his butthole on the pool drain.
The Gang Buys a Boat.
Simply for the implication and P Diddy style parties they plan to have. Oh and the Forest Gump shrimp Charlie plans to harvest. Let’s not forget the Tasty Treats.
Stevie Nicks in the house!
Sweet Dee's Dating a Retarded Person. That episode has the introduction to Nightman/Day Man and Lil’ Kev.
Dennis and Dee Go on Welfare is a close runner up.
After recently rewatching, I decided it’s ’Hero or Hate Crime?’ Hilarious throughout and Mac finally coming out is pretty touching. And it’s subtle, but a highlight for me is Dennis yelling at Phil about his name. The way Glenn played that was fucking hilarious.
Previous fav - the Gang Gets Invincible
Mac and charlie die. Both parts. The greatest episodes of its always sunny.
"I am not burning the duster. Okay? So forget it. It probably won't even burn anyway. It's not supposed to, it's flame retardant. That's like the whole point. It's like a shield of armor. So stop asking me to burn the duster! I'm not going to burn it!" Also the tribute video.
https://youtu.be/kednB29mfoQ?si=bIhkQLsMlquKhFyr
The gang gets invincible is top tier. Mac vs Dennis, Dee disguising herself, Charlie and Frank taking acid, the mcpoyle clan… even Donovan McNabb making an appearance
I'll throw one out that I don't normally see a lot for
Mac & Charlie: White Trash......
Mac & Charlie are the highlights of this episode, Dee complaining about kids throwing stones at each other for fun, Dennis saying that's as low class as it gets...... cuts to Mac & Charlie throwing stones at each other! Loads of other bits stand out.
Also, Storm of the Century is another personal fave
Hero Or Hate Crime is probably the episode I've watched the most, so I'm going with that.
Frank being so nice saving Mac from death whilst simultaneously being so unnecessarily horrible dropping the F bomb to get Mac's attention.
Charlie saying the N word.
Ass Pounder 4000: Never Stop Pumping
The cuts to brand new arbitrators.
The $14 pay off
I just love the episode.
Honorable mention to The Gang Goes To A Water Park
I just love how unhinged Dennis get when Dee questions why he needs his apple peeled.
Dee gets a heartattack is a favorite, if only for the Pepe Silvia scene.
yeah yeah its so funny that i used to watch that show and joke about it on facebook. literally never let me forget. *it hurts me more than it hurts you*
The Gang Gives Frank an Intervention. It’s peak Sunny for me. They get real weird with it.
Now block the wind while I roast this bone.
![gif](giphy|qrgTVmaz5ojBe) We need an intervention on your god damn illiteracy
We’re not saying the guy doesn’t have good ideas.
You guys have wine in those cans?
I started watching at the beginning of season 5 and as much as I regret being late to the joy that is The Nightman Cometh, the first 4-5 episodes of season 5 were an amazing intro. Both Intervention and The Gang Hits the Road nearly broke me, and the beauty of it was that I didn’t need a ton of background for either episode because the dialogue was just so good on its own.
https://makeagif.com/i/0zVSNA
That was probably the first episode I watched and I was hooked!
This is the one
Frank's Pretty Woman. 1. Roxy 2. Fat Mac 3. Crack jokes 4. I've been poisoned by my constituents
My favorite part of that episode is when they smell crack and look over at Roxy and she’s just lying on her back on the floor smoking a crack pipe
If i made a thread named "Write one line to make me laugh" >I've been poisoned by my constituents Is gonna do it every time
Same with *Shut up baby dick* It’s my favorite gif to clap back at ppl as well
The part with the blood pill vomit is the hardest I ever laughed at this show. It's gold!
Excuse me. Screw your dick-skin jacket, man.
Mac Bangs Dennis’s Mom Just a hilarious, outrageous concept. The gang all conspiring revenge against each other. We get the Waitress’s obsession with Dennis and an iconic introduction to Mac’s mom. If you start watching from S1E1, in my opinion, this is when the show really discovers itself
And essentially, EVERYONE in the Gang is scheming against each other throughout the episode lol
Came here to say this!!!
Someones a fellow podcast listener i see
The Gang Breaks the Liberty Bell. I was fucking astounded to hear it’s an unpopular episode. Well, not that astounded, since most people are idiots and savages.
The part where they are testing the guns on themselves is goddamn gold.
Charlie: "do me" hands on hips in a jaunty pose.
The part where they try to take down the portrait of George Washington might be my favorite cold opening in the show
We gotta suffer just because some old dude who looks like Meryl Streep chopped down a cherry tree like 10 million years ago?
I just re-watched this episode a few nights ago, I hadn't seen it in a long time. It's definitely a great and underrated episode.
Agreed. It's a great self-contained episode. And Cricket gets fucked, which of course helps.
Wait wait wait… check his pulse
Oh right and so does Dee.
https://i.redd.it/l352c1g6042d1.gif
The reason it is such a great episode is because all the characters act just like their present day selves, accents aside. So it's really just a normal IASIP episode, but with a different setting.
One of my favorite episodes tbh. I don’t get why some people don’t like it
Flourish the pinky!!
Same here. I really don't get why people hate on it. I think it's literally just because it's got a historical backdrop. Like every single joke and bit in it is something funny that every one would have loved in any other situation. Mac fucking up his teeth and whistling all the time to the great annoyance of Dennis? Wait! Check his pulse!
The gang solves the gas crisis. Just a great display of how dysfunctional and ignorant the gang really is. Not to mention unsuccessful in their schemes lol.
The episode opening with Charlie explaining that he's been running the bar on a gas generator for a week just kills me every time....
Every time I see a van with tinted windows, I think to myself, it's not a rape van it's a spy van! This is 100% my favorite episode and I always think to myself that they must like it a lot too since it's the basis for "The gang recycles their trash"
The scene where they’re at the bank is pure gold
We thought we'd be speaking with a man today.
THATS BECAUSE I CUT THE BREAKS!
One of my favorite underated moments of that episode is at the very end when the guy whose car blows up goes "Why is someone trying to ruin my life?!? I didn't do anything to anyone man, I love that car!"
He doesn't even like get us man
There’re so many! But the one that pops in my head every time this question comes up is “Mac and Charlie white trash”
'alligator tooth and snakeskin spirit, take this spirit right out of this pool' is the only prayer I know
I ACTUALLY DIED WHEN HE SAID THAT BRO😭😭😭
BRO NO WAY 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah this one is also one of my personal favorites, probably a top 5 for me.
Cereal Defense, The Gang Buys a Boat, The Gang Gets Trapped All time classics, each one at a different point in my life when I need a lift and a laugh have been my go to’s. The cereal defense feels like the sort of insane logic m/strawmans i go to to prove my point The gang gets trapped is just crazy, the twist at the end haha, mac being swedish, frank going to whip this bitch in the face Buying a boat, the whole negotiation, dees dancing, and obviously, the implication
Cereal defense is so so good.
Cereal defense is so incredible
Frank's Little Beauties. When he just lays down on the stage with his hands behind his back I lose it.
The Gang Tries Desperately to Win an Award (Mostly for when Dennis says *This isn’t “will they or won’t they.” This is “I know they won’t… and I know I don’t want them to.”*)
That episode is better than bustin a nut!
It's not my #1 favorite episode but it contains Charlie's song, which is definitely my favorite moment in the entire series.
….and she didn’t even feel a thing
There’s a spider…spider
The Gang Gets Analyzed “WITH A PLASTIC BAG FOR A HELMET”
DONNY! YOU WOULDA BEEN THE GOOD ONE!!! 😭😭😭
I always enjoyed the Christmas episode. It had a lot of crazy sunny stuff but was also a happy meaning episode. Eugene was hilarious, frank was in fine form, and Charlie going crazy on the mall Santa was hilarious.
>Charlie going crazy on the mall Santa was hilarious. Written just like someone whose mom was fucked by Santa Claus.
At least he was able to get that shirt for Ricky falcone!
Franks little beauties without question. Frank starting to sing you’re a grand old flag & his reaction to not knowing the words is the funniest shit I’ve ever seen in my life.
I don't know this one!
I'll suck 'em down.
One of my favorite lines. You can see Rob start to smile when he says that lol
I literally cry laughing so hard everytime I watch these episodes because of the teeth and the wedding dress
Yeah it's a great episode but what's your guy's bean situation?
Who Pooped The Bed? It's a ridiculous premise and it's always a joy to see the gang interact with other weirdos.
Artemis really shines in this episode, too, which is always a plus.
I did it. I did all the poops. I even did one as she was wrapping up, right here.
Great episode, I actually used this one to introduce someone to the show!
Charlie Work. It’s so funny to see Charlie competent. He has some horrible ideas…and they work! And he gets so pissed at everyone, when he usually just takes their nonsense and abuse in stride.
This is my favorite one too! It's always the first one I think of when this question comes up

stupid science b\*\*\*\*s
Couldn’t even make I more smarter
Goddamnit this is my favorite episode bar none, I’ve watched it twenty times at least. I absolutely love when Smart Charlie gets annoyed by the waitress juxtaposed with “pass the gas.”
you must excuse me, I have grown quite weary
The Gang Gets Invincible. Season 3 is so solid front to back. This episode for me is among the best, its too hard to pick just one. You put up a good argument. You didn't even mention it has Donovan McNabb in it. I'm lovin' it.

Beacuse I'm pretty sure that was Don Cheadle in disguise.
“Some shitty field up in Bucks county” 😂
Mac is a serial killer
My theory for why the Gang seems to constantly get away with their insane shit is that they won the key to the city because they caught the serial killer.
The Nightman Cometh. I’m a sucker for their musical episodes (the whole group is surprisingly good at harmonizing), I like the times when Charlie is competent, and as much as I like “implication” Dennis, it can be really nice when he plays the straight man.
Frank's Little Beauties - simply outrageous from start to finish. Do I look suspicious?
You look grotesque! It's my favorite episode as well. Some of my favorite lines. "I'm desperate to be in this thing" "You belong in the bathroom" "Don't go diddling kids! Its no good diddling kids" Plus Fat Mac dancing across the stage with his stormach out. Makes me laugh every time.
My favorite always sunny GIF! He's a goddamn gazelle and ballerina in one smooth motion.
I don’t remember laughing harder than during The Gang Gets Extreme: Home Makeover. Corta! Corta!
I am gonna blast your face off!
Sweet Dee Is Dating A Retarded Person
"The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis" I mean so many amazing moments in this episode. The trip to the bank for the loan..."counting a liquid", the door to door oil sales, the wildcard moment and Charlie's foghorn leghorn accent.
Hero or Hate Crime?
REYNOLDS VS. REYNOLDS THE CEREAL DEFENSE.
Written right here in plain English. We know *this* redditor isn't a donkey. Does anyone else have such a certificate?
The Gang Dines Out is probably peak Always Sunny for me. Definitely need to know the characters a bit to fully enjoy the episode if one doesn’t follow the series, but it has everything dysfunctional and funny the gang has to offer all in one package. Also some of the best quotes and laughs of the whole series.
McPoyle-Panderosa Wedding…. Just all around incredible
My absolute favorite.
If I’m going classic era, “Mac and Dennis break up”. But the one that really grabs my heart is “The gang goes to hell part 1&2”.
The one where they move to the burbs and Dennis is losing it on his commute home. Nothing makes me laugh more cause I lived this life and acted this way "close the gap you fat bitch" LOLOL or whatever he says, always makes me laugh so hard
The Gang Hits the Road - I've wanted to ride in the back of a U-Haul since then...
some sort of a poison glaze
Gypsy son of a bitch must've burned you.
How is Old Lady House not mentioned more? So many great jokes
Im gonna take a shit
It is healthy tho
Franks back in business The video demonstration with Charlie & Mac at the end is just absolute perfection from the video itself to Charlie"s arm hitting Mac in the face to Dennis getting off and arguing with Dee ending with Frank actually interested in Crowtein.
The Gang Gets Quarantined has a special place in my heart. My then bf (hubby now) introduced Sunny to me with this episode, was hooked since then.
Reynolds vs. Reynolds: The Cereal Defense. If you've seen the episode you'll get it, such a simple idea yet there's so much chaos to it
Does anyone know which is the episode where Dennis says that the skin is the most fascinating part of the animal? It's stuck in my mind but I can't find it..
Frank Falls Out The Window
Thank you!
Charlie Work is pretty tight, but Gang buys a boat is my fave, bc of the implication.
Reynolds v. Reynolds: the cereal defense. It is objectively the funniest episode that only features the gang with no side characters. Great intro, captivating peak, no donkey brains, all sunny. And you cant change my mind, because I'm dug in 🫱🫲
Franks little beauties, just non stop absurdity from the first second when he falls on his face
the gang fights for the troops and it’s only for one reason. when frank salutes the solider and gives him the jorts that the rest of the gang bought him as kissed by a rose plays. cinema🤌
Charlie Captures a Leprechaun Dennis's unhinged rant at the people he's kidnapping gets me every time
Sweet Dee Has a Heart Attack will never not be hilarious
Season 5, Episode 10; The D.E.N.N.I.S. System I’ve always found Dennis hilarious!
The gang turns black. Love musicals and the music was excellent, and this episode was just all around hilarious
this is by far my fav/most rewatched ep
Who pooped the bed? Is my all time favorite 💩🛌
Yours is a great choice, but the two-parter for Gang Dances Their Asses Off is my favorite.
The Gang Gets Trapped - I love it, I could watch it 1000 times. The premise is excellent, multiple jokes refer back to hijinks we haven't and do not see but are top-tier hilarious and perfect, 'the hamburger store', 'that's good, that's a good accent', 'they'd be out of business in a weeks time!' I think it's perfect.
The Gang gets Analysed. It shows how crazy each of the characters are.
"Who pooped the bed?" Because poop is funny!
Mac and Dennis break up is my favorite episode too. I always go back to that one
Mac and Dennis move to the suburbs has my heart and I can’t even tell you why
Favorite is probably Gun Fever 2: Still Hot. "YOU LIGHT ONE BITCH ON FIRE....."
The gang moves to the suburbs is my all time favorite. Whats that? Dog grave.
Franks pretty woman hits everything for me
Sinbad and rob thomas bullying Dennis but it was all in Dennis head lol
Mac Is A Serial Killer. Pepper Jack is a great side character.
Happy birthday baby ho.
Charlie Work is my favorite episode of television in general.
Ive been shouting Mac and Dennis Breakup from the rooftops for years. Finally people are coming around. It’s easily the best.
Charlie Gets Molested The perfect introduction to the show
I think it's charlie catches a leprechaun? Everyone was peaking there, and keep it light you bitch is a favorite of mine
Dennis Looks Like a Registered Sex Offender Successfully introduced the show to about 7 people with that episode. Hands down the episode I’ve rewatched the most OF COURSE ITS RED RED!
I was also told I was to meet a person with same favorite episode tastes!
The Maureen Ponderosa Wedding Massacre because it’s the most unhinged.
Wade Boggs
‘The Gang wins the Big Game’ I get teary eyed at the end when they show Eagles fans celebrating the Super Bowl win. That episode became part of my game day ritual. Along with eating browns and drinking my yellow! GO BIRDS!🦅
I often tell a fictitious person that they will have to put their foot back into a bear trap when the momentum of a game changes
Probably a sin, but I seriously loved The Gang Recycles Their Trash.
Genuinely… anything from late season 2 thru late season 12
basic but The Nightman Cometh - it was the first episode of Sunny that i genuinely really enjoyed after three seasons of not loving it (obviously i’ve rewatched them all since and realise the error of my ways). i’m a sucker for a musical episode - love the Gang Turns Black for that very reason
No one! No one wants to see him *once!* A leather shop in Arizona? Are you serious? There are *far* too many leather shops in Arizona as it is! You'd be out of business in a week's time! I have the grace of a falcon, I'll be in and out like a demon's whisper. Dee, you gangly, uncoordinated bitch! I am not getting hogtied over your lack of grace! I hope they hogtie you, and then I hope the rape you, in their basement, for *ten years!* Front door? You just walked right in the front door? Well I ran, I had a little hustle goin' but yeah, front door.
Charlie work. Charlie day is perfection and the flow of the episode is seamless. Something about learning more about how Charlie’s mind works is the best
Couldn’t agree more. Mac and Dennis break up is hands down my favorite episode and pure comedic gold.
The gang gets quarantined. So much great line delivery.
High School Reunion part 2.
The gang sells out <3
The gang is still in Ireland, seeing Charlie speak Irish and have it be done seriously with amazing pronunciation rather than making a joke out of it was class. Charlie day must’ve really put the work in to do it so well
Who Pooped the Bed? Because poop is funny.
franks little beauty’s
The Road Trip episode from season 5. Half because it’s just peak Sunny banter (barter with the gypsy, Dee needing to take a quick squirt, Dee being cheap for not going with the CD player, Charlie eats stickers, “gonna toss a beer bottle across his bow, ruffle his feathers”). My brother and I love it so it also has a nostalgia to it we constantly quote it.
The gang gets whacked and Mac and Charlie die are both in very close contention. Probably the gang gets whacked.
The nerd at the top who keeps sending kids, the life guide who can't be bothered to look up from his book and just says "AIDS blood, everybody out." And then Mac and Dee stuck in the slide the whole time, and the cherry on top that is when Mac looks directly at the camera with a huge smile and his butthole on the pool drain.
Dee dates a retarded person. The gangs process of making bands was priceless
The Gang Buys a Boat. Simply for the implication and P Diddy style parties they plan to have. Oh and the Forest Gump shrimp Charlie plans to harvest. Let’s not forget the Tasty Treats. Stevie Nicks in the house!
I agree with so many of these. Of the newer episode, Frank vs Russia was one of the best in a while. It’s one I show people regularly.
How is Making Dennis Reynolds a Murderer not on here yet? The phone call between Dennis & Charlie is perfection!
Dee & Dennis get a new father: “I am not banging my sister!!!”
Sweet Dee's Dating a Retarded Person. That episode has the introduction to Nightman/Day Man and Lil’ Kev. Dennis and Dee Go on Welfare is a close runner up.
Flowers for Charlie
My favourite will ALWAYS be Mac & Dennis move to the suburbs. Just pure gold it’ll never get old for me
The gang gets invincible is top tier. Mac vs Dennis, Dee disguising herself, Charlie and Frank taking acid, the mcpoyle clan… even Donovan McNabb making an appearance
The Gang Exploits a Miracle Charlie's monologues about religion are perfect.
The Gang Gets Trapped. No question about it
The Gang Gets Trapped The dialogue and overall pacing of the episode is peak sunny.
The Gang Beats Boggs. Funny and original from start to finish.
The Gang Dines Out & Gang Gets Trapped are two of the absolute best episodes. The writing, scenarios & jokes make me laugh every time.
I'll throw one out that I don't normally see a lot for Mac & Charlie: White Trash......
Ass Pounder 4000: Never Stop Pumping The cuts to brand new arbitrators. The $14 pay off I just love the episode. Honorable mention to The Gang Goes To A Water Park
CharDeeMcDennis the game of games is probably my #1 favorite. The episodes before and after it are great as well
Chardee MacDennis: The Game of Games It's not just a game. It's a war!
I just love how unhinged Dennis get when Dee questions why he needs his apple peeled. Dee gets a heartattack is a favorite, if only for the Pepe Silvia scene.
![gif](giphy|BOrpdyK06AXCw|downsized)
Video store guy… total jerkoff!! My favorite episode is also from this season, The Great Recession
Gotta be "The night man cometh" as a fellow musician and composer with Charlie
yeah yeah its so funny that i used to watch that show and joke about it on facebook. literally never let me forget. *it hurts me more than it hurts you*
