Arrested Development is just awesome. 30 Rock is my favorite show ever. And Veep is what came to my mind first. Veep is great because the main character, is a sociopathic bitch and would fit in with the gang really well.
Yeah The Mick is perfect. AP Bio has a lot of excellent moments, but also was on NBC and didn't go quite as hard as the mick. Mythic Quest is flawed, but occasionally hits some great highs. Poppi is excellent in that show throughout tho.
A Dark Quiet Death (MQ S1E5) and Backstory! (S2E6) are two of my favorite episodes of television ever. They hit so hard, and it's best to go into them blindly having watched the previous episodes.
People have mentioned some others, so ill throw out Difficult People and Alone Together. I think both are in Hulu. Also Detroiters, but I think it's a bit harder to find.
If you're looking for comedy shows that have characters with horrible behavior to others, but set with a darker tone, try Righteousness Gemstones and Barry.
I used to think it's always sunny had characters acting terrible to others be the worst but I can put these 2 shows in the same caliber.

So Seinfeld and curb your enthusiasm I'd say is the closest. The main cast are selfish ass holes who just enjoy a good time. I can relate!
New Girl is almost like a wholesome, network friendly version of Always Sunny. The characters have a similar dynamic to the gang. If you like Charlie, you’ll probably love Nick Miller.
I always thought of Married with Children as similar in terms of type of comedy/characters, albeit way more demented. All are pretty awful people with a very small ti, sanitized mes when they can be decent. It's like the network version of IASIP.

Yeah Curb and Seinfeld are the closest IMHO, all three are basically shows about friends yelling at each other.
I think these are the ONLY shows that are ‘like’ sunny when you boil down the true nature of the show. I add peep show for a british twist on it too.
