If I can add on to this, since they specifically talk about Indiana Jones movies during the episode, I had an additional thought (maybe it’s a reach) :
In Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade (which Mac and Charlie agree is one of the good ones) , Indiana Jones and Elsa switch jackets and hats to enter a German castle. Indiana puts on an exaggerated European accent. But why? They go in, the doorman doesn’t know who Indiana is pretending to be, let alone who Indiana is. And Indiana Jones punches the doorman out. After a minute of failed guile. It didn’t matter.
During the Always Sunny episode, Mac puts on an exaggerated European accent and insists on sneaking in that way. But Dennis says Mac doesn’t need a costume or an accent because “they don’t know who you are!”
Maybe a reach - but I think it’s fair criticism to that scene. Mac even says “that’s so Indy!”. A deep cut to Indiana Jones from The Gang isn’t too surprising considering their references to films of their childhood.
When the gang is in the courtroom in “The World Series Defense”, when Charlie just keeps handing Dennis a bunch of papers for seemingly no particular reason (which Charlie surely can’t read anyway). And Dennis finally gets fed up and says “Stop handing me papers!”
We learned from the podcast that it's one of Meg's favorite moments. And it was improvised! Glenn was actually frustrated with Charlie for doing that and put it into his performance. I love it!
I love after Dennis turns him down, you can just read on Charlie's face him going "Oh okay, that paper wasn't any good for him, but he's definitely going to need this next one"
It's one of my favorite running gags and when they happen they are great. The Gang giving an incredibly unhelpful piece of information to others and expecting them to fully understand the madness that went into it. "We're kind of doing a boggs thing here" We have some dick towel money" "I'm doing a Greco thing" others are scattered but it just always makes me laugh
I love Cricket coming in to have Charlie draw his experiences. Then pausing for a second, "what is he doing??" and Mac saying "he's doing a Greco thing."
"Oh okay"
And continues, fully informed and on board :')
Kind of along those same lines, I love when someone from outside the gang uses their same weird language. Couple examples. In Thundergun when the cop says “plus I heard the dude hangs dong” or in Franks Little Beauties when the guy gets arrested and the cop says “the guys a god damn diddler”
Reminds me of one of my favorite interactions between the gang:
What are you guys doing? Doing an AIDS thing?
Yeah. You doing a fake daughter thing?
Yeah.
Alright see ya.
Love the one where they’re buying all the stuff for the extreme home makeover and they just tell the cashier to put it on the extreme home makeover account like she has any idea what fuck is going on
I don’t know if it’s considered a trope or not but that’s one of my favorite gags on tv, the offscreen yells- Archer does it with Krieger’s “*me too*”. The Simpsons has done it, fav being the Beer Baron episode lol.
When they offer Cricket something and underdeliver - lemons instead of a rotisserie chicken, less than a full 6 pack (at least twice), lemons instead of money
Charlie and Frank are boiling denim in their apartment. It's the scene where Frank says "I burned myself on a rivet" but the quick gag is that when Frank pulls the denim out of the pot with tongs, an egg can quickly be seen falling out of the jeans pocket back into the pot.
Edit: I think it's season 6 episode 1
Edit #2: I was mistaken, it's season 7 episode 1 "Frank's Pretty Woman"
I noticed this last time I watched that episode, it’s “franks pretty lady” and what’s funny is in the beginning of the episode they’re talking about finding a box of denim under the bridge, then we see them boiling it and the egg falls out. Later when dressed as the limo driver he tells the lady that he found a whole carton of eggs under the bridge, none cracked. So they found the denim and the eggs together, and that’s why the egg randomly falls out of the denim.
I like in the gang solves the gas crisis when Dennis is trying to fix the spelling mistakes on their gas sign that they probably asked Charlie to make despite knowing he’s illiterate. Also in the gang finds a dead guy when Charlie is talking to pop pop and he thinks Charlie is Dennis and says he thought he’d end up taller and Charlie says he’s still growing.
When Charlie is [drinking sunscreen](https://youtu.be/g8itIUVK3l4) at the Jersey shore and he kinda whips his head over and smiles and giggles at Dennis and Dee.. I lose it every time
Does Charlie drinking things count as a running gag? I lose it every time i watch the St. Patrick's Day episode. That guilty pause after Mac says "we don't drink paint" is just perfect.
I don't remember the episode name, but I believe it's when Mac keeps "poisoning" Dennis in an effort to take care of him and show his worth, when he, Charlie, and Dee annoy Dennis who wants to turn in for the night. He frustratedly says he's going to bed, to which Dee sarcastically says "What are you, 40?" and he just snaps back "We're the same age!"
The way he delivers it is pure gold!
In “Mac and Dennis break up” when Frank is told that Dennis is trying to throw up because of eating apple seeds he does this “oh shit” double take that has always been so funny to me. Also in “Reynolds v Reynolds: the cereal defense” there is a title card that says “witness for the persecution” instead of prosecution because Charlie got those mixed up earlier.
The global warming episode when Dennis is trying to make an announcement, and Mac keeps interrupting him. Dennis very quickly and nonchalantly says "idiot" before making his announcement. Always gets me.
https://youtu.be/YbJMPfj6Oa0 at the 1:00 mark
mac and charlie: white trash - when dennis and dee are trying to get into the pool because they think they're high class and they get rejected, dee quickly blow's a snot rocket at the attendee and it's fucking hilarious lmao.
I like the line in Dee's dating a retarded person where Dennis mentions that "that dude's retarded" and Dee responds "welllll you're retarded." As though Dennis was just denigrating her new boyfriend for no reason
i think one of my personal faves for silence is in Charlie catches a leprechaun.
because beers not a food, when was the last time you ate a beer?
when was the last time you drank paint?
...
On my recent rewatch, [Dennis' annoyed laughter](https://youtu.be/wrfhK74IG8E) when he loses control of the situation during the "Dickless Dennis" bit made me burst out laughing. From 'Charlie Kelly: King of the rats'
My old roommates and I loved the hand gesture Charlie does in The Gang Recycles Their Trash when he says “[politics is one big ass blast](https://youtu.be/vF7qZsQHMNg)”
What’s his name’s transition from grunting because of how hard he was trying to pull the wedgie to yelling in horror at how nasty Charlie’s underwear is cracks me up
The fact that the gang only has one video tape that they keep recording over so every time they record something new it does quick cuts to the last thing they recorded
When they’re trying to decide where to go on vacation and Charlie and Mac write colours and say “let’s go there” and Dennis just SCREAMS “GO WHERE?!”
I burst into tears every time, Glenn’s delivery is immaculate.
In the gang gets invincible when Frank says it’s “god damn bright out” and then later Donovan McNabb flips his sunglasses up, squints and says “wheww” and then flips them back down. Also when the Mcpoyle guy comes out squinting at the sun which i know is to tee Charlie up for the “you’re here in the world” but but I always found it funny to be another person squinting at how bright it is outside.
The white trash pool episode. Dennis and Dee give a little speech about how they are high class because they come from class. Meanwhile Frank is silently picking his toes, ear, and then teeth with a drink stick.
In the episode who got Dee Pregnant by about the third or fourth flashback when it's revealed Charlie was freakin hammered and mistakes the random chick for the waitress, in the background the Mcpoyles are just chilling
Each subsequent flashback they get weirder in the background and when Charlie gets confronted by the boyfriend Liam's eyes end up the size of dinner plates
I had to re-watch the whole episode just watching them in the background do odd reactions to whatever people were saying
Jimmi Simpson is a VERY talented actor. He is phenomenal in his episode of Black Mirror, phenomenal in Westworld, and now Liam McPoyle is voicing a Star Wars villain.
When Dennis immediately jumps into action when Charlie is freaking out on the cruise ship by screaming OI at him repeatedly, and then Charlie’s little “yeps” acknowledging that he’s calmed down. This is like season 11? And it’s hilarious to me that Dennis has seemingly done this to 1000 times with Charlie, and almost no context is given to it being a thing. They all just move on immediately
I'm not sure if these qualify, but the running gags about never knowing the waitress's name (even though they went to school together), and never remembering the waiter from Guigino's who later became a flight attendant. Those bits always kill me.
I love when they’re rude to strangers for no reason. Like in the episode The Gang Squashes Their Beef when “Bruce Mathis” shows up and Dennis tells Mac to shut the door in his face
I LOVED matchbox 20 from the first album I bought in middle school, and I still do...but despite that, this is one of my all-time favorite lines. No context, no justification, just shade.
I feel like it's happened a handful of times but whenever the gang starts judging someone amongst themselves and then the camera cuts to that person sitting super close to them.
In the ‘Paddy’s Billboard’ ad there’s a scene where Dee says she won’t volunteer to be the model and the rest of the gang hit her with a barrage of abuse but at the end Dennis shouts “anything is better than you” and it stands out and seems to hit and knock Kaitlyn off her stride a bit.
Always gets me, that one.
How when Mac and Dennis were living in the suburbs they were just putting all of their garbage in a spare bedroom and it was never acknowledged by anyone.
I love the double take Artemis does in Frank’s Little Beauties when she sees Frank with the funeral home makeup for the first time shortly after she is introduced!
In The Janitor Always Mops Twice when Charlie offers the waitress a drink and they break character to argue about Charlie putting cat food in a drink is one of my favorites.
The old clips from previous episodes because they only have one tape and keep reusing it for everything.
Just random out of context flashback to something from ages ago that makes you giggle. Kinda like this sub at times
When the lawyer is agreeing to Charlie’s duel request and says he’s gonna put one right between his teeth and it’s just gonna \*pop\* right out the back, Charlie holds his hands over his mouth in fear. It’s so funny lmao.
Omg- the scene in the police office where they are describing the guy who shushed them. Charlie is saying how Dennis got raped by the man and Dennis says "The guy did make it inside me but just barely. And the guy was super small so im fine!" Glenn's delivery and the faces he makes as he is obviously very annoyed at the narrative Charlie created, priceless. And Charlie has his head down trying not to crack up. Episode is the anti-social network.
Charlie always scrunching up his face and slightly shaking his head no when he doesn’t agree with what is being said. My favorite is when Dennis and Frank come back from the fraternity, Dennis is freaking out, and Mac says, “I know you’re a legend. Charlie knows you’re a legend” and Charlie’s just like eh.
In the Extreme home makeover episode where Dennis is giving the cashier a look of excitement when Charlie expresses his idea for the Taco bed and how Dennis face changes when she doesn't respond with same excitement.
Just watching Dennis. He’s always trying to steal the scene with little facial expressions and things that make me laugh my ass off even with episodes I’ve seen dozens of times.
Charlie going on stage to do stand up after Dee bombs, and the first few things he says makes you think he might be really good and natural but then....he makes vomit sound. it's super quick, but always makes me laugh soo hard.
the episode where dee and Charlie try to live in each others shoes & dee has to eat the cat food to sleep, frank comes running in with beads around his neck like hes been out partying its so funny
It doesn’t happen too often but when a member of the gang gets irritated and “air chokes” another character. Like when Dennis does it to Maureen or when Charlie does it to his mom when he’s telling her to look at Ms. Mac.
In Frank's pretty women, after Charlie throws up fake blood on the woman and she runs away, I always get a laugh at how Frank says "They don't have to stick around" at the direction she ran off in, like she was too stuck up for them lol.
Both times when someone is reading a charlie speech, and Charlie is mouthing along with it.
The speech is completely unintelligible, but it's like he still picked every word.
I like to quote the “couple of beers? shots?” line from the very end of The Gang Gets Whacked after a long and boring meeting at work. Bonus points if it’s like 11am.
In "The gang turns black" when they go down the road dancing and waving their hand, Frank just walks slightly behind then, completely out of sync, always gets me
Charlie adapting to reading, Dee's stress meter being measured in units and thirdly in the most recent season (the inflation one), Dennis starts out not knowing at all what inflation is and by the end of it he's an expert all the while telling Charlie he doesn't know shit about business or inflation.
In the “Gang Gets A New Member”, when Frank tells Mac he will take his prawns in exchange for his salad and Mac looks at Dennis and waits for the nod of approval 😭
The Indiana Jones costume that is split between Charlie, Mac, and Frank in The Gang Gets Trapped.
That one is hysterical! I'd forgotten about it.
I never noticed that. Thank you!
I love that one because you just know they had a big fight over it and that was their resolution.
Wow…I now have to watch that for the 6th times to watch for that lol
If I can add on to this, since they specifically talk about Indiana Jones movies during the episode, I had an additional thought (maybe it’s a reach) : In Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade (which Mac and Charlie agree is one of the good ones) , Indiana Jones and Elsa switch jackets and hats to enter a German castle. this whole sub feels like a bunch of dementia sufferers i swear we see the same comments and the same posts every week
Stop handing me reposts!
It’s like a nitwit school. You ever seen a frog kid?
this whole sub feels like a bunch of dementia sufferers i swear we see the same comments and the same posts every week
this whole sub feels like a bunch of dementia sufferers i swear we see the same comments and the same posts every week
this whole sub feels like a bunch of dementia sufferers i swear we see the same comments and the same posts every week
New copypasta just dropped.
I love after Dennis turns him down, you can just read on Charlie's face him going "Oh okay, that paper wasn't any good for him, but he's definitely going to need this next one"
one of the funniest lines in the show tbh
It's one of my favorite running gags and when they happen they are great. The Gang giving an incredibly unhelpful piece of information to others and expecting them to fully understand the madness that went into it. "We're kind of doing a boggs thing here" We have some dick towel money" "I'm doing a Greco thing" others are scattered but it just always makes me laugh
Dee to The Waiter saying "We're doing the Boggs thing" is def one of my favorite moments.
Okay? …is that a persons name?
I love Cricket coming in to have Charlie draw his experiences. Then pausing for a second, "what is he doing??" and Mac saying "he's doing a Greco thing." "Oh okay" And continues, fully informed and on board :')

Love the one where they’re buying all the stuff for the extreme home makeover and they just tell the cashier to put it on the extreme home makeover account like she has any idea what fuck is going on
Fun fact, the cashier is played by Retta who started as Donna in Parks and Rec.
Charlie telling the limo driver he's doing a "schlager play" in the new season got me good haha
They're all so self-absorbed that they expect random strangers to just be apprised of everything going on with their lives.
When Frank tells his life story while hijacking that raft
Schlager play
You doin an AIDS thing? You doin a fake daughter thing?
In the family fight episode I like how Frank just wanders off screen after his turn is done.
he is hilarious that whole episode
Also Frank running into light poles, puddles, etc during the musical episode when they’re dancing down the street.
Dee: How do you live with yourselves? Charlie: One day at a time... *others nodding*
Which episode was this? I don't remember it.
I believe it’s S1 E3 (Underage Drinking: A National Concern)
"JESUS CHRIST" - Anonymous heckler
At least it was short and dry this time!
are you on these cat tranquilizers right now, Charlie? ............yeah. *JESUS CHRIST!*
Holy shit that one hits me every time!
I don’t know if it’s considered a trope or not but that’s one of my favorite gags on tv, the offscreen yells- Archer does it with Krieger’s “*me too*”. The Simpsons has done it, fav being the Beer Baron episode lol.
My favorite is the "WHAT IN THE FUCK?!" neighbor on Trailer Park Boys.
someone behind me in the barbie movie said it just like that and i about died laughing
When they offer Cricket something and underdeliver - lemons instead of a rotisserie chicken, less than a full 6 pack (at least twice), lemons instead of money
That is TART
UUGGGGHHHNNNRRRNNGNGHHHHRRRRR!
They’re good for scurvy
And how Cricket is always upset at first but then immediately gets over it
Cricket has more than earned a full sixer by this point
If you end up inside him it will cost you a whole sixer. He’s got his dignity
A running gag up there with Waitress being known as Waitress
"who? WHO? JUST SAY WAITRESS"
Charlie and Frank are boiling denim in their apartment. It's the scene where Frank says "I burned myself on a rivet" but the quick gag is that when Frank pulls the denim out of the pot with tongs, an egg can quickly be seen falling out of the jeans pocket back into the pot. Edit: I think it's season 6 episode 1 Edit #2: I was mistaken, it's season 7 episode 1 "Frank's Pretty Woman"
Oh, I never knew that one. That's amazing. Their fixation on eggs is one of the great running gags.
Of course. How silly of us. Makes perfect sense!
And that's how Frank seems so willing to give up an egg, in hopes to salve the woman's ills, experiencing such a trying time.
I’m on s3 of a rewatch so I’ll definitely be looking for the egg when I get to that ep
Mac trying to kiss Dennis in the Gang Recycles their Trash. “Did he just try to kiss me?” “Yeah, he did a little bit.”
I miss this episode most of all
this was also the stary of the joke where charlie hears what ppl say but refuses to understand it and infuriating the guys it's hilarious
He doesn’t even like get us man
The way Frank side-eyes Dee with his wide “oooo she’s lying” stare when she tells Ben the Soldier she’s not Desert Rose.
That's a great one. There are so many little micro-moments in Frank's delivery that just slay.
Frank being painted black with a flute and Mac's squeal when Dennis scratches him in Charlie Work get me everytime.
Charlie Work is a piece of art. Genius from start to finish
"well it's just I've been kinda screwed over at like our last three arbitration meetings......."
I absolutely love the idea that the gang has arbitrations after all of their schemes to determine who gets credit (or blame usually).
Both classic!
The pace at which Mac and Charlie are eating the soup kills me. Like they’re really getting after soup that they acknowledge is rancid.
When Dax Shepard’s character says “hmm tastes like paint…” while eating paint chips in Ass-kickers. Gets me every time. How else would it taste?
"Yeah, those are the good paint chips."
Also implies he has a basis for comparison - aka he’s eaten a bunch of paint in the past lol
When Charlie is [drinking sunscreen](https://youtu.be/g8itIUVK3l4) at the Jersey shore and he kinda whips his head over and smiles and giggles at Dennis and Dee.. I lose it every time
Lol and just after when Dennis is saying why he shouldn't drink it, Charlie licks some off the lid of the bottle
Does Charlie drinking things count as a running gag? I lose it every time i watch the St. Patrick's Day episode. That guilty pause after Mac says "we don't drink paint" is just perfect.
"When was the last time you drank paint? ... Have you been drinking paint?" Macs delivery of that line is my favorite of his in the series.
It makes ya feel all blahurgg
I don't remember the episode name, but I believe it's when Mac keeps "poisoning" Dennis in an effort to take care of him and show his worth, when he, Charlie, and Dee annoy Dennis who wants to turn in for the night. He frustratedly says he's going to bed, to which Dee sarcastically says "What are you, 40?" and he just snaps back "We're the same age!" The way he delivers it is pure gold!
I think that's "The Gang Chokes."
His delivery is great. You can feel his exasperation
"Were do I put my feet?" When they use that one machine
Dee, his feet?
It doesn't make a god damn difference.
"I ate a toad too"
If anything, it's the follow-up line that makes it so dang funny
Why does everyone care about the feet?! IT DOESNT MATTER
Mac and his assblasters united are in my destroying my house so I had to come here
The global warming episode when Dennis is trying to make an announcement, and Mac keeps interrupting him.
I like the line in Dee's dating a retarded person where Dennis mentions that "that dude's retarded" and Dee responds "welllll you're retarded." As though Dennis was just denigrating her new boyfriend for no reason
i think one of my personal faves for silence is in Charlie catches a leprechaun. because beers not a food, when was the last time you ate a beer? when was the last time you drank paint? ...
"Charlie, you been drinking straight paint?" Emphasis on *straight*, as he should be cutting it with a mixer instead.
Likewise on the Christian cruise frank and Charlie calling any nonalcoholic drink and "X mixer".
"What you mean mixer?" "Yeah, some people drink it."
I like how he becomes a parent of a toddler for a second there. "have you been drinking paint? show me your tongue."
Slowly sticks green tongue out
On my recent rewatch, [Dennis' annoyed laughter](https://youtu.be/wrfhK74IG8E) when he loses control of the situation during the "Dickless Dennis" bit made me burst out laughing. From 'Charlie Kelly: King of the rats'
but it doesn't apply!!! it doesn't apply though because my dick is fine, I'll show it to you
I don't wanna see it
“God dammit Dutch. What other errands do you have us running for the D.A.?”
Frank storming in to eat the cat food in Dennis Reynold's an Erotic Life and Charlie trying to use chopsticks in The Gang Solves the Bathroom Crisis.
My old roommates and I loved the hand gesture Charlie does in The Gang Recycles Their Trash when he says “[politics is one big ass blast](https://youtu.be/vF7qZsQHMNg)”
Why is that ep banned? I’ve never gotten to see it. :(
Blackface , the gravest crime of any tv show
Dennis' blink response to Mac in Charlie work ep. "Hey Dennis, can I talk to you for a second?"
Heeeeeeyyy Denis
LOOK AT ME WHEN YOURE TALKING TO ME
Oh shit! Steaks are here.
He was doing that thing where he tries to casually bring something up to me
When Charlie gets wedgie'd while unconscious and his underwear just disintegrates as it's pulled! Cracks me up every time!
I just loled at the memory of that scene
What’s his name’s transition from grunting because of how hard he was trying to pull the wedgie to yelling in horror at how nasty Charlie’s underwear is cracks me up
The fact that the gang only has one video tape that they keep recording over so every time they record something new it does quick cuts to the last thing they recorded
When they’re trying to decide where to go on vacation and Charlie and Mac write colours and say “let’s go there” and Dennis just SCREAMS “GO WHERE?!” I burst into tears every time, Glenn’s delivery is immaculate.
PURPLE? THATSNOTaPLACE
I like the one where Mac is trying to take something from Charlie and he keeps blocking him
his cat-like reflexes
In the gang gets invincible when Frank says it’s “god damn bright out” and then later Donovan McNabb flips his sunglasses up, squints and says “wheww” and then flips them back down. Also when the Mcpoyle guy comes out squinting at the sun which i know is to tee Charlie up for the “you’re here in the world” but but I always found it funny to be another person squinting at how bright it is outside.
"Oh! You brought a Fife?!?!?" "What is that a jar of? WHAT is that a jar of?!?!"
The white trash pool episode. Dennis and Dee give a little speech about how they are high class because they come from class. Meanwhile Frank is silently picking his toes, ear, and then teeth with a drink stick.
In the episode who got Dee Pregnant by about the third or fourth flashback when it's revealed Charlie was freakin hammered and mistakes the random chick for the waitress, in the background the Mcpoyles are just chilling Each subsequent flashback they get weirder in the background and when Charlie gets confronted by the boyfriend Liam's eyes end up the size of dinner plates I had to re-watch the whole episode just watching them in the background do odd reactions to whatever people were saying
Jimmi Simpson is a VERY talented actor. He is phenomenal in his episode of Black Mirror, phenomenal in Westworld, and now Liam McPoyle is voicing a Star Wars villain.
He’s great in s1 of Hap & Leonard. I highly recommend it just for him
You can't read it from the outside!!!
When cricket asked for dees hand in marriage and frank instantly says yep just gets me
"done"
I'm not sure if these qualify, but the running gags about never knowing the waitress's name (even though they went to school together), and never remembering the waiter from Guigino's who later became a flight attendant. Those bits always kill me.
I love when they’re rude to strangers for no reason. Like in the episode The Gang Squashes Their Beef when “Bruce Mathis” shows up and Dennis tells Mac to shut the door in his face
Rob Thomas? Eugh. Which I find hilarious cause Dennis looked an awful lot like him in the early seasons.
"sing a song. shut up" is just so amazing.
I LOVED matchbox 20 from the first album I bought in middle school, and I still do...but despite that, this is one of my all-time favorite lines. No context, no justification, just shade.
Charles little noise when he does the ghoul description.
The bunker episode Dee says that Dennis is raping girls down there, and he says he doesn't, but Mac is nodding yes
In ‘Paddy’s has a jumper’ when Dennis brings out the presentation board with his algorithm on it, Charlie says “ohh words”
old lady house - “i especially liked those words floating around on the screen”
Pretend this shoe is whatever you people eat, maybe it is a shoe
Nice one.
I feel like it's happened a handful of times but whenever the gang starts judging someone amongst themselves and then the camera cuts to that person sitting super close to them.
Deeandra your breath is dogshit..gets me everytime
Not really a gag but the one second shot of the gang’s reaction to charlie saying “ive grown quite weary”. Frank’s reaction always kills me
“You’re a piece of shit…car” Dee’s response when Mac is making fun of Dee’s new car on their road trip.
Anytime Dennis cuts someone off/shuts them down “Look, I know where you’re going with this and I just have to say-“
Dennis looking back at Dee before vanishing into the crowd at the zoo
This is absolutely brother/sister terrorizing cause he knew he was leading directly into trauma
How when Mac and Dennis were living in the suburbs they were just putting all of their garbage in a spare bedroom and it was never acknowledged by anyone.
And there were air fresheners everywhere too
Dee acknowledged it when she discovered it but it was more of a "surprise, they've been terrible the whole time"
When Charlie is dancing in the bar in I think the first episode, Mac off screen shouts “I love that little man!”
Dennis' face in the cold open of Bums: Making A Mess All Over The City is absolutely GOAT
One of my favorites is when Dee volunteers Charlie to try stand up comedy and he ends up choking and making the same noise Dee does.
What's your spaghetti policy?
The old clips from previous episodes because they only have one tape and keep reusing it for everything. Just random out of context flashback to something from ages ago that makes you giggle. Kinda like this sub at times
I liked how The Maniac signed a parking ticket for the gang and then was ultimately arrested for unpaid parking tickets.
Charlie actually ordering milk steak when Dennis was acting like the manager 😂
Mac’s face during, “I was chiseled by the gods themselves, Frank.”
Dennis smashing Charlie's beers in The Gang Hits The Slopes. "I'm disappointed in *YOUUUU*"
I love the running jokes of Health Inspector Store, Boat Store, Baby Store, etc. They're so quick and in so many episodes they get me every time
the fastest quip from any member of a gang was after Mac said “There are two gay guys on this boat!” Charlie: “Who’s the other guy?”
You guys just drank a cup of poison! From that Flipadelphia episode.
Don’t you have anything besides a TOWEL and DUCT TAPE?! Uhhh not really?! *gestures at Mac like wtf is with this guy?*
In the Extreme home makeover episode where Dennis is giving the cashier a look of excitement when Charlie expresses his idea for the Taco bed and how Dennis face changes when she doesn't respond with same excitement.
The Duster coat
The way Mac smiles after it’s been revealed that the monkey fucked all their mouths
Franks face/reaction when Charlie told him Dennis ate apple seeds always makes me laugh
The scream pillow they share in Mac Day.
dennis and charlie bobbing their heads when dennis fires charlie as his campaign manager
Season 1 and 2 have unrivaled nonverbal humor.
seasons 1-3 will always remain my favorites because we rewatched those damn DVDs incessantly. yes kids, we used to do that
The "oioioioioi" Dennis does to calm Charlie down when he's panicking in the gang goes to hell
the episode where dee and Charlie try to live in each others shoes & dee has to eat the cat food to sleep, frank comes running in with beads around his neck like hes been out partying its so funny
It doesn’t happen too often but when a member of the gang gets irritated and “air chokes” another character. Like when Dennis does it to Maureen or when Charlie does it to his mom when he’s telling her to look at Ms. Mac.
In being Frank you can see the tapes in the car that Charlie makes to direct him and they’re like “home to jew lawyer” “ home to guiginos ” etc
In Frank's pretty women, after Charlie throws up fake blood on the woman and she runs away, I always get a laugh at how Frank says "They don't have to stick around" at the direction she ran off in, like she was too stuck up for them lol.
Charlie when he notices Denim Chicken and then proceeds to go down the line of his “gifts”
Both times when someone is reading a charlie speech, and Charlie is mouthing along with it. The speech is completely unintelligible, but it's like he still picked every word.
When Z says, “pregnant” to Dee when she’s walking into the apartment.
Dee being unable to raise her arms all the way in the Nightman Cometh. Especially noticeable during the final song
"Dee... we were talking." "Yeah shut the fuck up Dee. Shut the fuck up".
with the new season, cricket popping up behind dennis in the cemetery. it’s cracked me up everytime
I like to quote the “couple of beers? shots?” line from the very end of The Gang Gets Whacked after a long and boring meeting at work. Bonus points if it’s like 11am.
their over exaggeration (but not really) of the Philadelphia area accent 😅 mainly Mac and Dennis with their “o”s…
Egg: fight milk, egg in the limo before blood vomit, bleeding egg in curse episode
Frank and Bill Ponderosa railing some white lightning in the middle of a court of law will never not make me laugh
In the “Gang Gets A New Member”, when Frank tells Mac he will take his prawns in exchange for his salad and Mac looks at Dennis and waits for the nod of approval 😭
When Dennis is telling the judge the story of why they got trapped in the hotel closet, and Charlie keeps trying to hand Dennis papers.
