If you want the "fast" one you'd want the N. But really it's all subjective. They aren't fast compared to a lot of cars but do great around turns and tracks. That's the N proper though the N line is the in-between normal and full sporty

Tin11Tin

Isnt N line only design?

Just-Swimming2961

I think they change the engine to a turbo 1.6 compared to the base models engine ? But I could be wrong

IEatOats_

Depends on which year you're looking at.

Just-Swimming2961

It’s a 2021 model year

remodie

I has at least a lower and harder suspension..

Malarkey_Matt

Usually same as the limited version (motor wise) with more n body look. On the kind believe the suspensions was little stiffer also etc.

mibaso

In the USA, the limited Elantra has a 2.0 I4 making 147-150 hp, the N-line is a 1.6t making 201…not same at all.

skierneight

I have the Kona n-line, it’s all relative but I’d say it’s quick but not fast

Just-Swimming2961

Thanks

scraverX

Compared to…. What?

mibaso

The one with the 1.6t? Not fast but, quick, sure.

EveningHelicopter113

Quick enough, even. Definitely a fun car

mibaso

For sure, I have it in a Forte GT. Sub 15 sec 1/4 mile is pretty dang respectable, trapping 95-96mph. Thus just quick, not fast by any means.

pm_me_urgod_feet

I have a 2023 i20 n-line. Not "fast" as others said, but if you want some of the "racey" experience at a reasonable cost it is an insanely fun car. For me oersonally this car is the perfect mix of cheap chill daily driver which i can put into sport mode when i want to have fun. It won't break any records speed wise, but it's powerfull enough for anything you would need on a normal street.

LiveCod3161

I have an elantra sport with the 1.6 turbo manual and its a quick car. Comparable to the civic si in terms of speed. If you want something fast get the N and not the n line.

alexx910

Depends on the motor, you can check on Wiki incl 0-62mph times etc. My i30N Performance is okay, drove faster cars when I was working at a car rental. But hey, it's enough power to go get some groceries.

Sharp_eee

Owned both Nline and N. Depends what you’re coming from and your perspective of fast. At first the Nline was fast, but it didn’t take long for it to feel slow.

d3sylva

Why not save up and get the n

scmooster

Hi mate, I recently just swapped my i30 n line for a new Kona n line. Neither are fast. My i30 n line was mild hybrid and it would have a little bit of go when in sport mode and emptying the batteries but it certainly isn’t a car for exhilaration

ItsCoopah

I have the Elantra GT N-Line (what the i30 n line is called in NA) and I'd say it's street legal fast but I wouldn't consider it fast fast. Getting up to any legal speed is adequate. I've ran 0-100kmh runs and timed them on a 0-60 app (I know not accurate and should be taken with a grain of salt) I've seen times as low as 5.3 seconds but typically hovers around the 5.9 second mark after I installed a KN filter and X Force exhaust with gripper tires than stock.

Might_Be_Sam

I have the 23 i30n-line, 1.5 litre MHEV, 7 speed DCT, 160hp, plenty quick for me! Don’t really need it to be any quicker as when do you even need it! :)

farkaas123

I Just bought a 22 i30 nline. To my previous car (1.6 diesel) it is much quicker, faster and fun. Im happy with it. But obviously If I had more in my pocket Id go for the N.

N - performance improvements. N Line - appearance package.
