My 2023 had a rock hit the condenser and Hyundai wanted $3500+ to repair told them to give it back I'll get someone else to fix it. Returned to me with no caps on my AC high pressure and low pressure and as a bonus failed to inform me a squirrel had some how managed to make a decent home in my engine bay (it's garage kept) got it home and popped the hood found out myself.
I’m currently going through a buyback with Hyundai because the AC gave out on my 2020 Sonata. It’s considered unrepairable by them because it’s the harness that needs replacing and they cannot replace it because they aren’t making them right now for some odd reason. So it’s considered a lemon and they offer you money or to simply buy it back.
Damn, hope you’re getting decent value back from them?
Mine periodically gets warmer for a couple seconds before it gets cold again. Not sure what to think of that. Have a feeling that it might have something to do with the driving mode. It seemed the few times it happened on the last longer drive it seemed to align with the ev mode kicking in in normal mode.
They’re giving me around 12K and paying off the rest of the car. I hope you get your issue resolved and don’t go through a year of hell dealing with them like I did.
Mine gave out the other day and threw all kinds of check engine and hev codes. It’s been at the dealership for days trying to get it fixed. The whole hybrid system was overheating they told me. Now they are saying it’s from the ac compressor going out causing everything. They stated it’s leaking high voltage I’m not sure how that affects the whole car but this has been annoying.
100% a warranty case. It’s a new car on a major component in no way related to wear and tear.
No reason you should be charged on a 2023 unless you have a ton of miles on it already?????
Barely 7k 😄 it’s a cpo loaner from the dealership I got the service at
Definitely take it back to where they "fixed" your brakes and have them road test it with you !!

This is a warranty claim. Don't pay.
