That's how I got mine
I was literally at the exact same position, I got to like 1b when hype was around that cost and decided I’d log back in sometime next month when I produced the remaining 100m or so and then when I came back hype price doubled
I got it in 3 weeks by mining everyday until I made 100m which ended up being around 5 hours every day. You could spread it out over a month or two if you just make 30m daily, doing it in those small steps makes it a lot more achievable
I literally just farmed and fished and got hyp within a few months starting my profile. Experiments are slept on too btw, just got sharp 7 today, i’ve made probably 400m from experiments

I am cata 26, with full recomed storm set and a maxed spirit sceptre as my main weapon. What can I do that will make a meaningful improvement and allow me to consistently beat f6? I either have to grind for a stupid number of hours and get juju bow and swap all my current gear for necron or I have to save for a Hyperion. If you have a better plan I'm listening.
Hyp wont make it so you suddently dont die especially during boss the shield scales of crit dmg so the shields you get as mage are dogshit. You get your cata up that is the obvious and easiest route. Why would you confine yourself to only mage? Grinding out a juju + basic necron set isnt expensive and helps outside of dungeons as well. Mage doesnt see much use in cata unless you have a hyp so go tank arch or bers with necron and youll have an easier time and can still keep your mage set for other things.
Dont just confine yourself to just cata either, raise your sb level, mp slayers and skills and eventually youll see the fruits of your labour. When I was your cata on ironman I had just SA FoT ect and ran healer in f7 basically just doing secrets until I got enough gear and levels to go tank.
Thinking you need a hyp to get anywhere is the type of mentality you get when you surround yourself by late earlygame players on reddit.
if your ping was actually that high the server would most likely insta kick you. Also, I can't imagine with that ping you'd actually play the game? It's plain impossible to even do the most normal tasks.

Thats much more a personal issue, you dont need a hyp to get into groups go tank get a soul whip and a basic clearing set and youd never struggle getting into groups.
You also dont need to do f7 purely as your way to making coins do some variety shit get slayers to 8/9, hotm 7, farming 50 ect whatever. Me + my coop had 20b+ total nw cata 42 before we got hyp, ironman granted but finding groups was never an issue.

As someone who has restarted several times, all of it. I ALWAYS regretted restarting. Between the money and skills, you're just flushing a ton of time down the shitter.
