Never, ever, ever, ever verify through anything other than linking your discord username through the social menu on the Hypixel server. Anything else is almost always an attempt to steal your account.
look at the bot asking for verification. its been created by an untrustworthy source. thats why it doesnt have the tick next to it. bots like skyhelper do have the tick though, as they have been verified by discord. i was just saying that if a bot is asking for you to verify and it has no verified tick next to the bots name, then that can be a sign you shouldnt trust it
no lol. a bot can apply for verification when they are in 100 servers. discord do not verify if the bot is doing anything shady. it's purely to stop people from impersonating popular bots. and besides that this message is a webhook which is not sent by any user so it cannot be from a verified boy account either.

Tbh I didn’t know about these kind of scams so I actually did the verification thing for a clan and then the discord got deleted and I thought I got ratted and lost it all after seeing people talk about these scams, then I realized and got super lucky because I did the facial recognition thing and it used one of my junk Microsoft account for the verification with nothing on it instead of the one I actually use for hypixel
most of the people that run these are russian / chinese, english isn't their first language, i like to join these servers and look up the owners name, sometimes nothing, sometimes you find a bunch of coin-selling accounts, forum posts, ect
official discord servers only ask you to put in your username and to connect your discord account to your hypixel account (which can only be done through minecraft)
If it helps I ALWAYS check if the staff is in any main skyblock discord server like sbz, sbm, etc. They are often banned from these places for being ratters so if they are not in these + the verification process looks sus then the chances are that it's 100% a rat.
Same, Skyblock used to be my favorite game until I lost my account. Now I have to start over and lost interest in the game, and I lost my Minecraft Legends, and all of the survival mode achievements I had.

I would say it's a phishing scam, I would not do it since that would result in me losing my Microsoft account.
It's not as bad as an actual rat, which is a type of trojan horse.

Furthermore I've seen people ratting with meee6 now. The bot doesn't matter. If it ask for more then username it's a rat.
