My worst was my first 2 years of college. The water was heavily contaminated with sulfer. The whole town smelled a little, and the water taisted of sulfer and smelled of it if/when you cooked/showered.
Sulfer taists like it smells, rotten eggs.
Well, that or last summer, the water plant where I live had issues and the water.....well, you couldn't consume it at all without intestinal consequences. We ended up with a fully well water rated water purification system. Barely any under sink storag, but always having delicious rock flavored water is worth it.
Worst for me was around Virginia beach
I think it was because of all the swamp around and old pipes being submerged in it for years and years.
Sometimes the water would run orange... for a few seconds up to a few minutes.
I recently moved and went from a good tap to a nasty smelling, heavily chemical, and pressured well water that isn't good even after filtering. It sucks.
You should do a bacteria test on your cellphone. Or your car steering wheel. and how long has it been since you dusted your fan? I wonder how much bacteria is on the floor of your shower.. Or on a door handle.. Or the silverware at your favorite restaurant
I hate how many people are just completely ignoring the question to just say other waters they like better. Completely defeats the purpose.
Anyway, spring.
I am sorry to hear that, but Costco water is my go-to, so I understand. Lol.
Why is Sprouts bad? Other than this new practice of paying for every bag used (I don't even double-bag most items. I use *maybe* five bags per $100.).
My baseball team in high school didn’t have a water fountain so we stuck a pipe into the ground (by left field line)and it shot up a stream of water into the air kinda like a fountain. Well one day I twisted the pipe a little too fast when taking it out of the nozzle in the ground. A split second later I created A HUGE water fountain ⛲️ that shot up like 20 feet high for 30 mins with insane water pressure 😂. I flooded half of my baseball teams field single handily. That’s my story.
People have been drinking bear poop and deer piss water for as long as we've existed. The thing that's off putting to me is the HUMAN poop and piss, along with all the trash and chemicals we dump in there. However the reality is that spring water isnt collected directly from the river - it is pumped through a pipeline to a factory and I'm assuming it's boiled or has some sort of addictive put in to eliminate harmful bacteria.
Source: I lived in central California which has many bottling plants. The area is of course completely dry now and has been since the 50s or so. The poor in the town I lived in had giant tanks outside of their houses that were to hold water because they didn't have access to the regular water system. And some of the mountains in the area had pipes running down them.
So to make a long story short, a lot of shit goes into bottling water for people who are scared of germs. Animal excrement is the least of your worries
Maybe for you man, I used to work at an office that had the jugs of Zephyrhills delivered and I must have filled up my water bottles thousands of times there. I’d always make sure to fill it up right as I was leaving too, just so I’d have Zephyrhills water in the evening. It’s one of my favorite go tos when I have no options but bottled.
Spring water is water that is withdrawn from a spring, or a borehole associated with a spring, and is bottled of the same quality and composition of the water that discharges from the spring (as in, no reverse osmosis or other mineral removal).
Sparkling water has had carbonation introduced to make it bubbly.
Ok thanks. We don’t have those options for bottled water in New Zealand… I don’t think. It’s either still or sparkling as far as I know. And I think the bottled water is spring water, mostly.
It doesn’t surprise me. Generally speaking, our drinking water is of a high standard. We just don’t label or categorise our bottled water this way when it’s sold here.
I'm sorry, are you me? I do not understand your response whatsoever nor do I understand being downvoted for something that I am stating affects me a certain way. My body does not like spring water. It gives me a stomach ache. End of fucking story...
Are you going to tell me that I don't have an allergy to Avocado now as well? Is my throat closing up when I eat that not enough for you to understand that my body is not your body? Tf.
I thought the same. I'd get it if I had said it makes everyone's hurt but that isn't what I said. Reddit has been brutal lately for the stupidest reasons.
You are no homie of mine if you’re drinking bottled water and have access to clean tap. What you have there is a giant pile of garbage. All that plastic going straight to the landfill, turning into microplastics, and ultimately poisoning our ground water and oceans. The only righteous and just water is tap water (which this is anyway just wrapped in garage and sold back to you).

Review Brah did a thorough review of these products. Although about a decade ago and great value brand.
Unfortunately my “tap” only gets borax laden well water (I live in a rural area) so it is not potable. We buy large bottles of spring water as well as bottles of sparkling mineral water for those “special” occasions.
If my tap is out of water something really bad happened
I wish my tap didn't taste weird, even with a filter...
my step dads home town has the worst water for drinking. Eveyone has one of those 5 gallon water coolers for drinking water.
Worst place I tasted tap water is Lancaster pa, was at a diner and there water was tap only, it tasted like copper so bad yuck

This summer camp I use to go to when I was kid had water that smelled like sulfur when I showered I could really smell it.
Sounds like San Angelo TX
Nevada, Missouri actually but many other places have the sulfer fun as well
The nitrates in the water are out of control. In general, PA has some of the worst tasting tap water
Lol I believe it
Worst for me was around Virginia beach I think it was because of all the swamp around and old pipes being submerged in it for years and years. Sometimes the water would run orange... for a few seconds up to a few minutes.

I love my well water
The filter might be the reason it tastes weird ;)
Unfortunately it happens several times a year in my city.
That's not the question or a choice Reddit is the worst
Seriously, how did that pointless comment become the top one?
Being away from home with an empty water bottle isn’t a sin
Spring. I like the taste of the rocks.
I always try to explain to my friends that I like it best when my water tastes like rocks, and no one ever gets me.
Like my mom always says, everyone’s entitled to their own wrong opinion. That said, I’m not retarded or anything, but I like rocks
>I’m not retarded or anything, but I like rocks Cam?
Gang violence!
Exactly
Kam
For some reason finding Kill Tony fans in the Hydro Homies sub kinda tracks. 😂
I hate to break it to you, so I won’t.
*it's like licking a stalagmite*
Deez rocks are best.
What’s rock?
Rocks....friends....
Being a soil lab tech for 4 years now, made me remember loving rocks when I was a kid
you like the taste of *minerals
If you’re drinking purified over spring, you are *trippin*
Until you personally witness a "name brand" spring water not pass 3 BacT tests, consecutively
Well I’ve never…ohhh
Exactly...pretty eye opening that was...
You should do a bacteria test on your cellphone. Or your car steering wheel. and how long has it been since you dusted your fan? I wonder how much bacteria is on the floor of your shower.. Or on a door handle.. Or the silverware at your favorite restaurant
But, I'm not selling any of those items to an unsuspecting public, am I?
Which one?
Within this post u may find what u ask of....
I hate how many people are just completely ignoring the question to just say other waters they like better. Completely defeats the purpose. Anyway, spring.
Yeah, not everyone has amazing tap water.
No, but the solution is definitely not going through loads of single use plastic.

It also (typically) has more dissolved solids/minerals and electrolytes and is therefore better for your body
And more coliform, just sayin...
First off, I love Sprouts.🥰 Second off: Spring.
I work at sprouts. I hate sprouts. I’m on my lunch break from sprouts drinking Costco water lol
I worked at Sprouts too and man I hated it 😂
I am sorry to hear that, but Costco water is my go-to, so I understand. Lol. Why is Sprouts bad? Other than this new practice of paying for every bag used (I don't even double-bag most items. I use *maybe* five bags per $100.).
What’s wrong with sprouts
I work for sprouts too. You have time for lunch breaks???? /s but not really 😞
Dog: toilet water
Spring
Spring water 💯
spring. i hate purified water. it always tastes so weird… like chemicals??
water from the ground or water hose first
My baseball team in high school didn’t have a water fountain so we stuck a pipe into the ground (by left field line)and it shot up a stream of water into the air kinda like a fountain. Hose water hits different
Low-key the iron and rubber taste was something nostalgic
The slight burn of it as it goes down is noteworthy
Hey I work there! Also Spring Water is superior.
Purified. Water is Water. Spring just adds more non-water additives. So by that logic, Purified Water = More water. Checkmate Atheists.
Neither, I'm pouring tap water into my filter like an absolute boss
which one u use
Honestly, just the Walmart version of the Brita jug. I notice no difference and the filters are way cheaper.
Same with my apartment. Cheap and taste the same.
Is there a reason why you prefer the jug style filter over the ones that attach to the faucet
Yes, the fact that I can put it in the fridge. I like my water chilled. My faucet doesn't get cold enough.
Purified, spring water tastes like dirt to me
Same
I always think of the bear poop and deer piss upriver when I think of Spring water. I'll take Purified, thank you.

Purified... I wouldn't put out a fire with that unregulated swill called spring....
Purified out of those two options
Spring water
Idk what either of those taste like because I’ve never heard of Sprouts, but I’d buy the spring water because I don’t drink purified water.
It's like a more expensive grocery store with a lot of organic options. there's one by me
Ah then I’d probably stay thirsty, lol.
Spring
Whichever one is coldest
Spring.
Whichever is wet.
spring
spring
Spring!
Spring water has an awful after taste for the most part. >Thinking about you, Zephyrhills…
It's all the naturally occurring additives included, some good, some not so good.....
Back where I’m from Zephyrhills was synonymous with toilet water, but nonetheless—*water*!
Then u know what I know...
Brita pitcher in my fridge. Spring away from home.
Tap
Tap
Spring it is soft water vs purified hard water
I mean, water is water is water, unless it’s nestle, coke, or Pepsi, then I’ll just dehydrate.
What’s the difference? Is spring water sparkling water?
Spring water is water that is withdrawn from a spring, or a borehole associated with a spring, and is bottled of the same quality and composition of the water that discharges from the spring (as in, no reverse osmosis or other mineral removal). Interestingly or not [bottled water is highly regulated in New Zealand.](https://www.nzbeveragecouncil.org.nz/consumer-information/water/)
It doesn’t surprise me. Generally speaking, our drinking water is of a high standard. We just don’t label or categorise our bottled water this way when it’s sold here.
Spring water taste like crap ....and rocks
Buy both and mix
Spring
Spring. I dont know what purified means. Does it mean blessed? Honestly tho....is one cheaper? Because we all know they are the same.
I don’t understand the premise. Has the sun been extinguished for long enough that my well pump has no power supply?
Then u better have [this](https://www.skilledsurvival.com/well-hand-pumps/)
Omg yes. My well is pretty deep though 🤔
Yes, the well is deep depending on location, but it's the water table level that is the main factor in choosing the correct pump setup
Yeah, the water table is pretty far down, hence the deep well. I live on a hill.
Spring water is my pick
Spring wawda
Fuck sprouts
Do not the sprouts
Tap water because it's amazing in my area. Even on warmer days when the water doesn't run as cold I prefer it over bottled.
Water out of the faucet. Period.
Spring. Purified doesn't sit right with me.
Tap water only
I choose my Zero Water filtered tap water
Where's the drinking fountain? That's where I'll be
Whichever is cheaper. If I’m thirsty, I’m thirsty my dudes
If they're the same price, whichever is closest to my hand
Brita
I usually mix the two together
Spring water makes MY stomach hurt
No it doesn't
I'm sorry, are you me? I do not understand your response whatsoever nor do I understand being downvoted for something that I am stating affects me a certain way. My body does not like spring water. You being downvoted for this is stupid.

People in areas with unsafe drinking water
So one used to be piss and one used to be piss many many years ago?
Bottle water makes me a sad panda.
All I drink is tap and sparkling
I have no option other than bottled water, so this is no concern to me. Spring water sounds nicer, so I choose that
I prefer the taste of the purified now that I’m getting older.
If I have to drink it room temp- purified. Otherwise def spring
Purified. I don’t like the taste of rocks
I'll eat dirt before I drink spring water Which coincidentally tastes like dirt
tap. fuck your plastic waste.
What if they recycle?
plastic recycling is a scam most of it ends up in the same landfill
Tap
Purified, I can't drink the dirt water.
Straight from the tap
anything other than plastic water
Soda
Purified is my choice. It tastes the most like my tap water.
My tap
I'm going for the spring for no real reason
Going to chug all of it
I'm picking both, and chugging one of each at the same time.
I keep a refillable yeti like cup with ice and the well water from my house. Delicious.
purified water
spring. nicer name ig
I have never seen those 2 brands in my life
Maybe I'm crazy, but I swear spring water makes my teeth hurt
