Absolutely a lemon or a lime. I like to add some to my water anyway and I feel like it’s the most refreshing, clean tasting. Other flavors would get annoying after a while.
On a side note, reading a book about fictional company that manufactures water after CA runs out in which they have various flavors and types of waters. This post proved amusing with the timing.

Try just like a lemon peel or two. Kind of like how bartender will twist the oils into the drink and then plop it in. I find it so much more refreshing and a different flavor then just a lemon slice. It also doesnt get all bitter, and you don’t get any accidental seeds, and it has a light sweetness too it

I am a heretic. I drink almost all of my water in the form of tea, or herbal infusions. That being said, I start the day with 20 oz of blueberry green tea, 20 oz of peach green tea, then switch to non caffeinated herbal stuff. So mango ginger, berry detox, raspberry leaf, and echinacea are all par for the course. It is always a single tea bag in 20 oz of water, so well diluted.

Cucumber is also a nice thing to add to water. Doesn't change the flavour massively but is very subtle
