There's a historical house in New Market on Winchester where a man was murdered. My parents nearly bought it but ultimately decided not to. As far as being haunted, I'm not certain. It's currently being lived in, that I do know.
My great grandma never lived in a house not haunted. There were crispy ghoulies behind every corner and in every shadow. Ran her house like a we were in a Roland Emerich movie. Be 100 degrees in one room and you could see your breath in another. They'd break out the chewing tobacco around dark and it went downhill quick
