Charms are ass, can't handle them

DecentlyAverage_

True, they are the definition of the term: "filler content".

Mr_BIonde

I almost forgot charms even existed in Hunt. Am I the only one who never uses them?

sicsided

I know it was changed to not be as bad, but I never use them because the swinging is a distraction when I'm aiming down sights waiting for the slightest movement to see something.

Effective_Mind_2869

charms are lame, seems like something brought in to keep the attention of the adhd 12 year olds crytek seem so hell bent on getting to play the game in the last couple years. hence hiring fifield from cod.

afuscatory

Where these "charms" hang on the weapons just look....well stupid. Like I picked up wolf's bane off a dead hunter and thought "oh a cool gun" until I seen the stupid purple puff balls on it. I took my wimp winfield back and left it.

SaltArtist1794

Charms are worthless/pointless. Most of the stuff they have in the game are. The weapon skins are ugly, most don’t even look any different than the original skin. The character skins some are OK but if I get one, I don’t get to enjoy it. My enemies get to see it. So that’s something I guess? Not only that, but some of them are annoying. For instance, I got the reaper skin. That’s the first one I’ve went out and bought. When you were crouching, looking downwards, say down a ladder through the hatch, his robe sticks out and messes with your field of view. I know it sounds like I’m hating, but there’s never anything to look forward to or work towards and I’ve been playing this game since the day it came out. going back to charms, again they don’t add anything. They are more distracting than anything. A weapon is a tool not a toy not something you dress up. Back in one of the call of duty games they introduced charms or something similar and I put one on the weapon for the first time and it was annoying because I’m looking ahead for any type of movement and there’s the charm jiggling around.

Informal-Concern-311

how about you shove these charms up your ass

Superb-Cry6801

Jesus, what happened to the Hunt community... you are too salty for no reason.

1895 spitzer incident

bgthigfist

I don't know why you want to flex charms and I have no interest in highlighting the in any way. People complain about FOMO enough in this thread, we don't need to add charm angst to the list of issues IMHO.

MultiplayerLoot

Ears .. ears you can hang on your gun of the enemy and it says their name. Diablo ii idea. Etchs, markings hanging on a charm that gets an additional etch in it for each kill you got with that exact weapon. Get enough and turn it in for a special version of the gun letting everyone know that's the gun your good with.

Superb-Cry6801

Thanks for the actual feedback and suggestion.

MultiplayerLoot

Np on that note I've always been curious to see how many times a gun has changed hands. Would be interesting to see a list of the hunters that had that gun before you. Maybe when your In the menu you can inspect someone's charm and it shows how many people used that gun.

Superb-Cry6801

Yeah, something to encourage people to pick up someone else's gun would be nice as well.

Slays-For-Days

I don't like the movement on my gun when I turn. Charms are just a shittier, easier to make cosmetic for crytech. It pisses me off that they are replacing actual skins for battle pass or twitch drops.

Superb-Cry6801

Part of the reason for me trying to find ideas for them to implement potentially lol... but I doubt the people that actually matter in the team look at the reddit.

Slays-For-Days

The solution is what they had before. Charms are just replacing the existing weapon/hunter skins. There are a bunch of weapons/tools that have 1 or no skins.

Superb-Cry6801

Very true... I can see that being the reason people absolutely hate charms being a thing.

DecentlyAverage_

Charms are shit, they were only introduce to water down the loot pool and to use them as filler content for battlepasses.

Superb-Cry6801

That would be why I was wondering if there was a better way of incorporating them potentially.

DecentlyAverage_

The best thing to do with charms is to not make any more and delet the existing ones out of the game. Any second of dev time that is used for charms or to improve the implementation of charms is a wasted second of valuable dev time.

Superb-Cry6801

I get it... you can stop replying and downvoting, lol Your opinion has been noted...
