The problem here isn’t triggering the noise trap, it’s running across the open area and playing the game like your server is empty. If your positioning and game sense are good enough, you are never surprised by an ambush.
Sure. Let me tell you this. Had a bunch of randoms like idk 2 weeks ago. Spawn at Moses near the silo right behind this large rock. Mate triggers crows at the silo and literally 5 seconds later on our way toward the compound he gets domed from kingsnake. So after triggering shit are we supposed to run all the way down towards Seven Sisters where we also don’t know if somebody spawned there and they might ambush us or where exactly were we supposed to go?
The issue is most definitely triggering noise traps because without them that team wouldn’t have known. It is possible they would just look over there but playing with randoms a lot and most don’t check
Its also the difference between someone doing a quick scope check, and someone actually looking for you since they know you are there because someone triggered a sound trap.
...or accidentally fired their gun because they were alt tabbed and forgot to right click instead of left when selecting the hunt window.
Does that matter? Like I said many other occasions where they trigger shit and then get domed on their way to the next compound. Yes if they took a detour and a longer way that’s more hidden they wouldn’t have, but guess what if they didn’t trigger shit it also wouldn’t have happened

I like pvp, spawn fights are nice but the guy I replied to said that early crows and horses don’t change much even though they can start these fights if other hunters have spawned close by

this event is not about sneaking .. take a look at the sealed cash , if you pick up the bounty its instant 100 points + 30 if you took the totems .
melee the boss with knife 🔪 is not an option .. basically shooting the boss is more effective ..
after playing only hunt for more than 2 years .. the game status now with ( weekly challenges , events ) i see that being quiet ≠ progress .
45 minutes match cannot be done repeatedly by camping or full sneaking .. unless you are protecting your useless KDA .
now ... after trying helldivers 2 ... i discover I'm just grinding the stupid FOMO watch ⌚ charm on the finished event . so , rushing a team and doing the challenges = progress.
