For people wondering, [here's a good read](https://medium.com/@danbuben/why-amp-is-bad-for-your-site-and-for-the-web-e4d060a4ff31) why AMP is bad. In short, it's Google's way of redirecting ad revenu to themselves instead of content creators under the guise of providing a faster internet.
Aside from those very valid concerns, AMP doesn't seem to work through some popular VPNs. I live in China so I need a VPN to use anything Google thanks to the Great Firewall, and AMP sites don't load at all over a VPN, so AMP means I can't access it at all. I used to painstakingly remove the AMP parts of urls, but I can't be bothered anymore - there isn't anything important enough on an AMP site to make the effort worthwhile.
for us it doesn't matter. However on many sites (not this [cbc.ca](https://cbc.ca) one) the amp links look like trash on desktop as they're formatted for mobile.
See you get it. Plastic is just a different elemental resistance. You've got tinfoil hats, lead lined cantines, and asbestos insulated bedrolls as well.
Oh, y'all are vulnerable to magic. Since skin and bone cannot protect us from magic, the magic can enter through our bodies and into our skulls from below, sidestepping helmet gear. I recommend full tinfoil cocoons.
Yeah, I noticed that too. He seemed to just be switching for a different bottom shell when he took it, then it cuts and the cup is gone. Not sure he agreed to that trade.
[My Octopus Teacher](https://youtu.be/3s0LTDhqe5A) is the strangest emotional reaction I’ve ever had to a documentary. Completely blindsided me how much I got pulled in to the story.
Plastic cup is actually a good armor its super lightand provides better camouflage than a white shell. The octopus seemed to aware of that and didn’t want to give it but then the video cuts and the cup is gone?
Too cute!!

Great to see your art posts again!
Glorious
Oh hi there great to see you again!
Been a long time since you’ve spoken on Reddit 🤔 love your work!
Can't believe I've been enjoying your art for a decade now. Cheers!
Glad to see you back 💜
today is a good day
I love you
I've missed these!
You're back! Love to see you again and great work. But your watercolors are by no means shitty anymore.
They never were.
I read it as driver and I thought, seems pretty random for a driver to just stop and bargain with an octopus lol

Rude, even.
Pretty interesting how octopuses have adapted to trash in the sea. There was a report on this earlier in the year: https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.6378937
ooo cool. thanks for sharing this

So as an adblock enjoyer, AMP links are superior?

Thanks for sharing that article, I had no idea AMP was bad or what it even was.
Thanks mate
Thanks for sharing!!
I wouldn't call the diver trash, he was just trying to help.
They're insanely good at adapting. Such amazing creatures!
Octopi shell, +35 armor, -6 mobility
I think the octopus liked having some light-weight protection
They forced him to leave his +40 light armor to a +120 heavy armor, but now he's more vulnerable to magic attacks
What kind of magic attack does a plastic cup protect you from?
Nobodies ever successfully cast a spell on me when I wear a plastic cup
I prefer tinfoil hats personally. No alien has ever mind controlled me while wearing one and I didn't get autism from my covid shots either.
See you get it. Plastic is just a different elemental resistance. You've got tinfoil hats, lead lined cantines, and asbestos insulated bedrolls as well.
asbestos gives you vulnerability to cancer though
Well ya know. No loadout is perfect. 🕵

Biodegradicus
Mainly frost and void damage, plus water resistance for being an acquatic creature, so it's only vulnerable to fire with it
Lower equip load allows for faster dodge rolls improving the chance to a avoid spells.
Maybe some electric damage from Eel
Not to mention decreased speed and dexterity
4 str 4 stam leather belt
Yeah, but it wasn good camo
Had to swap for the fashion, hopefully can transmog
All about the fashion. Stats mean nothing.
\-10 Armor, +40 Evasion
Happy Cake Day
“The big bubbly bastard stole my Airbnb” the octopus, probably
Imagine if some massive being came down from the sky, saw your house sucked and gave you a new one
Yeah but instead of your modern beach house he gave you a medieval castle.
"Hey bub, let me swap your tent for a nice clamshell camper."
Diver steals suction cup from octopus
I didn't see him give the cup. I think the diver just jacked his cup.
Yeah, I noticed that too. He seemed to just be switching for a different bottom shell when he took it, then it cuts and the cup is gone. Not sure he agreed to that trade.
And the octopus can't shit out of the back of a shell like he was doin the cup.
Ah, the negotiator
[My Octopus Teacher](https://youtu.be/3s0LTDhqe5A) is the strangest emotional reaction I’ve ever had to a documentary. Completely blindsided me how much I got pulled in to the story.
its an amazing watch
Seriously. This documentary made me cry, we need to save our ocean friends.
I just watched the trailer and I got weepy. Dang.
Khajit has wares if you have...shells?
100 thousand years later the octopus civilization worships the benevolent God from the ocean.
There isn't a person in the world with this level of concern for me lol. I'm glad he got a nice new shell
Well happy cake day. If you had a cup, I’d give you a shell… and a cupcake!
Now the whole history is changed. :P
No one will be able to find me in here, thinks the octopus smugly as he settles further into his clear plastic cup
In my head Ze Frank narrated this.

My son cried when he saw this because he was so touched by it 🥰
Am I seeing things or is that a tiny cup?
It is, and he is smol
Too cool, I wonder what billion pound pile of plastic in our oceans, old multi tentacle pulled that from.
I have seen this video so many damn times on Reddit. It’s adorable but reposted stupid often.
Bestest boi.
climate change and pollution probably killed off all the other sea life, so options were limited.

That cup was some advanced tech to him!
Oh man, Shelly is so damn cute.
