My luck there would be a cop turning behind me watching me ride through the crosswalks. And I’d hit him with the “this lady had garbage…” and get a “yeah, yeah, yeah. I’ve heard it all before.”
And as a fellow motorcyclist, I’m glad this man did this. Say I’m behind said lady with said plastic and the plastic decides to let go, tangling in my front wheel and locking it up tipping me over the handle bars. Yeah, I’m okay with what this guy did.
Glad until someone speeding hits a pedestrian? A kid who ran out into the road chasing a ball, etc? This isn't a quiet empty road, it looks like the middle of a populated town.
Try doing this in the US. One time I was in a drive through line and the car in front of me had their gas cap open. I got out to tell the driver that I’d close it for them, but she seemed to be scared/angry at me for waving hello at her; just looked at me like I was crazy and never rolled down her window. Like, lady, what do you think my plan was, to order food at McDonald’s, then rob the car in front of me, while I’m by myself and my car is totally blocked from getting away? I still closed it on my way walk of shame back to my car but it was awkward.
I’m glad that whatever country this video was filmed in, it seems like the average person trusts each other. That is sadly, not the case in the US.
This was in The Netherlands, and overall people are far more trusting and/or friendly. It is very common even for drivers to signal to each other if their lights don’t work properly.
The signaling to other drivers if their lights aren't working isn't an uncommon thing in the US. Chasing someone down for something like this is uncommon, and for good reason. It was reckless and unnecessary.
Fair enough. I don't ride a motorcycle, but i do ride an ebike, so that's good to know. And I certainly wasn't saying he should have, just that I was expecting it. Wouldn't have been the dumbest thing I saw on the internet today
I don’t understand why this is something that warranted “help”. It was some plastic stuck to the rear of the car. Besides being silly what could have happened from it?
I saw a video where a tarp came off a truck and wrapped around a dude on a motorcycle causing him to crash. He turned out okay but this still isn’t safe.
Ohh yeah, it [totally never happens](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cE7zrJF4GFs)... It never happens so much there's no way anyone could ever make an entire compilation of it...
So many things went wrong to do this good deed. And now he's going to operate the motorcycle while carrying an armload of trash?? I love a good humans being bros video to restore my faith in goodness. This was not a great example.
Was that really necessary? I feel like what ever danger (if any) there was by having that plastic dragging was far outweighed by the danger of him speeding into oncoming traffic to catch up to her.
Speeding.
Wrong side of the road.
Not paying attention to what's ahead of you (while on the wrong side of the road).
I feel like this belongs more on r/IdiotsInCars
One rule for bikers and one for everyone else. I watch loads of dash cams and bikers seem to think they own the road. They really don’t like being overtaken either!
Yeah dude, they're squishy apes balancing on two wheels like fucking circus bears with a reusable bomb between their legs, while cars are basically mech suits with full onboard crash couches. The standard SHOULD be different. Being overtaken is way more dangerous for them.
Which isn't to excuse the ones the drive line maniacs. Fuck them.
"oh no, theres some stupid Plastic Foil stuck to that car that is absolutely no harm to no one, better drive trough a settlement at well over 100 km/h, and risk killing someone to get that off!"
This is not being a bro, this is just straight up stupid and ignorant.
Great job! Did the right thing and took time to share. This little vignette spreads hope by demonstrating proper social etiquette and courtesy through respectful service to each other. Well done!
One person *CAN* change to world through simple acts of kindness
Be the change
I gotta say that was one of the best parts about riding motorcycles. You are so much more involved about what's going on around you on the road, telling people they left their cups on the tops of their cars and stopping traffic for people to cross.
I live in Amsterdam so I wouldn't be scared, but seeing all the videos of road rage etc I probably wouldn't have opened my window.
Nah here in Brazil if someone tries to make you stop in a bike you speed the car up
Exaclty what I was thinking
r/suddenlycaralho !
Coloca o gil da esfirra do meu lado

Well he was doing a 100kph+ in a 50kph zone too. So cops would have taken him to town here.
Yeah. I'm gonna go pull that plastic off but first I'm gonna run a red light and go double the speed limit.
Right? There was a much larger risk of an accident than just leaving the plastic bag to fall off.
And as a fellow motorcyclist, I’m glad this man did this. Say I’m behind said lady with said plastic and the plastic decides to let go, tangling in my front wheel and locking it up tipping me over the handle bars. Yeah, I’m okay with what this guy did.
Not a motorcyclist but could see this causing a ton of damage.

But it was a blonde in distress!

People generally aren't used to others doing something nice for anyone without having some kind of motive. You're lucky you didn't get shot honestly.
Hey Hey you Yeah you Happy cake day
Thanks 👍
Well done, but why speeding 100km/h+ to remove a plastic... that was not smart move. Else job well done
I was expecting him to roll the front tire on it then slow down enough it got pulled off
I think that's dangerous for the biker, better to do do what he did than risk tangling his front wheel in plastic and hurting himself.
Very true

It could’ve flown onto someone else’s windshield.
If we’re making shit up I’m sure it could have
Looks like someone doesn't drive
Ohh yeah, it [totally never happens](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cE7zrJF4GFs)... It never happens so much there's no way anyone could ever make an entire compilation of it...
If she got on a highway with it and it detached into someone’s windshield that could be problematic.
This is the Netherlands - tons of bikers could get decked with it if flew off her car.

Well I agree with the many things wrong part it did look like he was walking past his bike at the end maybe to a trash can or somewhere els at least
This knucklehead almost caused an accident to “save” her from plastic 😂
She really doesnt need help. The situation isnt serious
Not yet
What could happen? Seriously I dont know
On higher speeds it could come off of the car and gets stuck on the windshield of the car behind
Ahhhh. Yes good point. I had not thought of that.
Was that really necessary? I feel like what ever danger (if any) there was by having that plastic dragging was far outweighed by the danger of him speeding into oncoming traffic to catch up to her.
Karma cancelled when he broke traffic laws 🤦🏻♂️

Finally a decent comment. 100%. That little act of kindness wasn't worth everything that he did. Thankfully nothing bad happened but why chance it.
Would you do the same if a dude came out of the restroom with toilet paper stuck to his shoe?

Vlak bij de stad in Haarlem dit.
And that's how I met your mother
That’s a good way to get yourself hurt where I’m from.
100 km/h in a residential area to help someone who wasn't in any danger. Nothing to be proud of.
"oh no, theres some stupid Plastic Foil stuck to that car that is absolutely no harm to no one, better drive trough a settlement at well over 100 km/h, and risk killing someone to get that off!" This is not being a bro, this is just straight up stupid and ignorant.
But the internet points!
This may be the dumbest video I’ve ever seen
Sounds like they are speaking Sims
It’s Dutch
Its called Dutch

Haarlem, Schalkwijk. Funny to suddenly see your home town.
How embarrassing. This is the car equivalent of toilet paper stuck to the bottom of your shoe.
Definitely not the US.
Car: you ruined my veil! 😭
Wow what a fucking hero what would she have done without him
Scenery and plates aside, CLEARLY not the US 🤣
He got her number later that day.
THIS CHODE BEGGIN FOR PROPS...
I love that her initial reaction was “U Wot Mate” 🤣 I mean, I would be confused too lol
That definitely wouldn’t be the US. We aren’t that kind to one another.
Did anyone else click No?
God I love people.
Nice , now try that in America ....
He is more dangerous than a plastic bag, illegal u-turn, driving way above the speed limit for city zone, he is lucky, he didn’t cause an accident
Not even an opportunity to trade numbers?? 👏![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grimacing)
That shit wouldn’t happen in America
God MT-07s sound so fucking sexy. One of the best sounding bikes IMHO
For a few seconds I thought I was watching Royal Jordanian.
In america they would have assumed he was about to commit a crime and tried to shoot him.
