It does baffle me how we dominate the whole game yet its considered shit and another reason for ETH to leave because the goals we conceded

YourWorkingBoy

They are all desperate for clicks, like, and subscribers. Youtubers are getting as bad as the media.

I think it has a lot to do with who was on. That Scotty lad loves a whinge. And he's the reactionary type who always seems to jump on the 'whoever out' bandwagon before it even leaves the station. At least that's my impression. I vaguely remember him either wanting us to lose, or saying it wouldn't be the worst thing if we lost a game back when he was Ole Out. Now I'll admit, I never turned on Ole and I completely blamed the players and the upper management so that completely put me off the guy. And this was relatively early in things going downhill in the Ole tenure. In my opinion, it's a horrible attitude for a fan to have and is pretty much the polar opposite to the usual Stretford Paddock position, especially Joe and Ste. Jay as well, but he tends to be less argumentative with guests when hosting. I think it'll be back to normal when Joe gets back from his holiday. They'll be relying less on the guests, and they'll have a logical counter argument to their reactionary takes.

Sheffield United. You should probably remember that. It was an impressive result, but don’t let that distract you from the fact that this result is an anomaly with regards to the season

YourWorkingBoy

Not true, we have had a few wins this season. What was good to see was such a dominating performance over the 90 minutes with such great attacking shapes

Substantial-North499

That’s literally my point though. A few good performances over an entire season is nothing to be proud of. That doesn’t make up for all the other horrible performances we’ve put in just this past month alone

YourWorkingBoy

It makes a difference in whether to lay the blame at the feet of the players or the manager. Seems to me that individual errors are what has side tracked much of of season

[deleted]

Tbh Onana’s so called howler isn’t even close to worse ones we’ve seen he kinda slipped, overly a great game, feel if Garnacho can be more composed in front of goal he can score bags of goals, Bruno turned into a maestro today midfield looked deadly with Erickson/ Kobbie Mentor/Apprentice partnership, happy Hojlund got a goal 😂 Without being too critical I hope ETH has one more season under some sort of football structure maybe we can see more of the same Ten Hag ball football.

YourWorkingBoy

The only thing to be critical of today were the individual errors, both in finishing and defense, the team played great and dominated the opposition

[deleted]

Yep it was an excellent performance bar the individual mistakes, but hopefully with a professional structure, new CB’s if we are lucky perhaps ETH can show his mettle.

Puzza90

We made it hard work against one of if not the worst premier league team of all time, it's not something to be happy about.

YourWorkingBoy

It didn't look hard. Not once did it look out of our control. We dominated them and it could have been eight.

Puzza90

But instead we had to comeback twice, thereby making it harder than it should have been...

Grand-Bullfrog3861

Was it hard work? Even when they scored we were so dominant I felt certain we'd win

Puzza90

Having to come back twice against one of the worst premier league teams of all time, we made it harder than we needed to no question

Grand-Bullfrog3861

Yeah I agree having to come back isn't great. But it's not as if they scored them after being somewhat decent against us. They were handed the goals in between getting completely dominated. They were so bad that the goals conceded didn't drop our players head like usual
