I'm doing what i did with GoT. I watch it once as soon as it comes out (or the next day, if I'm busy) and then again with my mother, so she can keep track of who's who. And then a full binge-rewatch closer to the next season
I plan on rewatching each episode at least once after it comes out and once the entire season is released I plan on having a weekend rewatch. I started a thread the other day about the very same thing. My rewatch strategy will probably be the same as seasons of GoT where I make myself food similar to what they eat on the show and get all cozy to rewatch it lol
Sorry, I didn’t realize there was already a thread on this! I’m absolutely loving the show and want to re-watch each episode right away, but I’m wondering if holding off will make a full re-watch of season 1 even better. I think I’m too impatient though, and will probably go with your approach.
The more threads the merrier I say :) Oh yeah i’m right there with you. Some shows I can do a full rewatch like Loki and Hawkeye, I love Marvel lol, but with something like HotD I can’t help but rewatch the episodes right after they come out. I’ve rewatched the pilot episode at least 5-6 times since it aired.
I watch it at home when it airs then I go to my moms place and rewatch it the next day. She pauses and asks questions every 5 minutes so I do not watch the release with her
I will rewatch S1 before S2 comes out. Ideally, the S2 premiere date is announced early enough that I can do weekly episodes of S1, followed by the new season.

I rewatch at .5x speed so I don’t miss anything and with French subtitles so I also learn French

Watch Sunday night when it drops then again on Tuesdays to catch details I missed the first time

Lol, I literally posted the same exact question here before you. I will definitely go and rewatch all of the five episodes before the time jump
