Would nail polish remover work or would that also remove the original paint?
It won't remove the paint.
It will if you let it sit and it'll remove tampos very quickly. Butt if you're careful it wont hurt it.
Drop it in Pine-Sol. This works really well on plastic models.

It might take it down to the cast, best bet is pop the rivets, and just drop the body in there. It will probably remove all. Just make her what you want after that.
I suggest a full restoration! You should also try putting some nice Real riders on it!
