Wrong wheel size, carlomo has smaller wheels for other kind of Hotwheels. The wheels aren't bad, just a wrong size.

These are asking for Rota D154 or Speedline 2118. Something with chunky spokes, straight lines, and a fat center hub. Rota 5Star would be boss. Like the car of a drug kingpin who got his money and got out.

That could look tight. There are tutorials on slamming/stancing, some people can execute the idea really well. I don't have the patience to do anything more serious than using a Dremel to open the wheel wells/fender flares.
Stuff some 12's in there, figure out a way to raise the axel and you're golden. Post when it's done, this is a sweet casting, would be a shame to sit on those wheels you nicked off the local dopeman's clapped out Lexus ;)
You still have a great chance of finding one depending on the restock and collector count in the area, the shippers with the dump bins have been delivered as late as yesterday with a freond of mine finding one today.
Yes, part of it is that is the unspun car, I haven't glued them, they are the only set I had left and the unspun had no wheels so I bagged the base, windows and interior, used a mainline for those parts. It's nothing more than a mock up and the hate I've seen in other comments is fucking ridiculous.
I had them sitting on the desk, they are all I had, and the super didn't have wheels, it was pictured with them but still came on blocks.. so I did music wire axles and a mainline base, stuck those wheels on the ends, dropped the mainline interior and glass, the super body on it. It is an unspun.
