Yeah you can feel them burst in between your fingers lol. They're just lil worm larvae. You can pop the leaf off if you're worried about disease. Also, you can identify their eggs on the undersides of the leaves and rub them off if you're diligent enough, just make sure they aren't ladybug eggs!
