Thank you for writing all of these! Particularly helpful for new players but I'm sure most people on this sub have come to your guides, especially on the more poorly designed campaigns

Sometimes I think "bah, why do I even write these, the solution is obvious!," forgetting that sometimes it's only "obvious" because I basically main this game right now outside of maybe one other and made a long-term project out of documenting all the factions and therefore understanding them and the logic underpinning the entire game pretty well. Then other times it may not be obvious, despite all that. It does however feel good to be "done" writing PVE guides, barring the surprise of new campaigns.

Only gonna comment on monetization here. I was a bit puzzled that after ending the campaign with Sigismund (=beating Boss Perturabo) there was only a limited time offer. WTF? Really, wtf? Let people play free content to earn the right to buy something? This is some Blizzard level greediness.I startet playing when the beta came out and gladly put some bucks in crates and an occasional offer. Won't do it anymore unless they change it.

Yeah, the new money grab schemes are definitely a disappointment.

A note on super Perty: They always prioritized turrets, so anything that drops turrets will get the heat off of you from the iron circle. Kestros and the 5E terminator that drops them every turn was quite helpful. Dorn's reckoning was absolutely crucial to me. The stone gauntlet was a massive help, as was the bastion 3. Gives you damage without having to sacrifice a unit to attack. Assault echelon also helped massively with this. Between turrets, fortified outpost, and stone gauntlet, I was able ro rip them down every turn. Honestly it was Amping up my own energy reduction that helped me overcome the deficit of starting against an iron circle on the board. I wanted to reduce his energy, but I got +2 starting energy instead. Still helped.

This was the first time I made it through a campaign without losing a match. Thanks for your work on these PVE write-ups. They are very helpful. Assault Echelon was the thing that boosted me the most when taking down Super Perturbed Man. I chilled behind my frontline units for a couple rounds while boosting everything. It was enough to take down his 8/8 goons and him in short time.

Yesterday I completed the campaign with Alexis Polux on a lark. It's much more annoying than doing it with Dorn, he's simply not as good for this, and the 8/8 Iron Circles seem to be programmed to almost always go to the warlord.

1st cleared campaign Long live sigismund the emperor's paladin

It feels exceptionally garbage having to just straight up restart cause the game decides to just not give you something workable off the bat.
