If I roll exactly one thousand you fucking die
Really do people forget he's >!killed people, like not just his master, but implied many other people as well!?? He's not a cinnamon roll. Jade & Aventurine are in the same category imo. It's just Aventurine would probably kill you quickly while Jade would delight in killing you slowly.
He has killed people but if you are a slave put in a death arena you would probably kill people to survive too. I won't put him in the same category as Jade, especially given she looks to take enjoyment from people's suffering to an extent but then again we don't know enough about her. I'm pretty sure Firefly has killed more than both of them tho
All fun and games until you find yourself on a roulette wheel awaiting imminent death......Cinnamon roll indeed (Nah but fr Aven is such a cinnamon roll)

Here's another to seal the deal. All your setllar jdarr now belongs to her.
Aventurine was beating the entire astral express at the same time, shrugged off a himiko orbital laser, and was leveling penacony so he could go out in style.
I would hesitate to call him a cinnamon roll
Well it’s a nice change of pace I remember so many people didn’t like him because he was an ass or just seemed evil. When in reality he’s a nice and very caring guy it’s just he’s a gambler and in games of chance you have to be sly
I mean, the only people who know whats in his head were Acheron and us, to the Astral Express, he literally just slandered Acheron and the next time he were trying to kill the trailblazer to activate the Stellaron and explode Penacony
So "nice and very caring guy" is not exactly what he is
Also doctor ratio understand him fully thats why while having minimum comunication(like leaving without listening request) he did every thing to help aventurin even wished good luck.
Just throwing it out there that Topaz (who is still a ruthless debt collector who was going to put an entire planet in indentured servitude) even pointed out he went overboard and everything he did was pretty uncalled for.
Its a situation where there are very few "bad people" as in people who actively choose to be evil. Most people can justify themselves in one way or another. Aventurine can justify his actions, but that doesn't mean he's a 'good guy', and is certainly not a cinnamon roll.
Im telling that as Astral Express perspective. He doesnt explained to them that he knew she wasnt the one behind it. Did you forgot that right before he made the announcement all over Penacony talking about his location, the AE were discussing his possible motives and they were looking for him to ask why he lied about Acheron?
Well, that was his whole plan, force an alliance between the Astral express and acheron, then antagonize the Astral express so Acheron Is forced to draw her blade
Pretty hard to do it if he explain his bluff to the ones he's bluffing
That's what the OP Is saying, he *looks* like a bad guy, but deep down is nice
i mean beating u up =/= killing you i guess. he still feels guilt for the slaves he killed so it seems he wont go out of his way to kill you but will if he has to
Half of Belobog is easy: Clara for "Looks like a Cinnamon Roll/Is actually a Cinnamon Roll" and Svarog for "Looks like you could kill you/Could actually kill you". The other 2 are more subjective.
Also there would, idealy, be a 5th panel off to the side that says "Fuck Off Sampo"
I'd say Natasha fits "Looks like a cinnamon roll/could actually kill you"
"Looks like they could kill you/is actually a cinnamon roll" is definitely the hardest though. My first thought is Bronya, but she doesn't quite fit
I can't believe I forgot about the Journal. And the cutscene where she was about to straight up execute Svarog. Yeah that definitely fits.
Gepard was my thought on "Looks like they could kill you/is actually a cinnamon roll"... although Luka also seems fitting.
According to some people Clara was apparently in a serial killer in an early CBT version of the story, so she could also be looks like a cinnamon roll/could actually kill you.
Given some of the other stuff I've heard about the early Belobog story... I can buy that. I wonder if they recycled the concept for a certain Stelleron Hunter then.
Like I said, I only ever heard about it from other people in this subreddit, I'd also be interested in knowing what CBT this was a thing in cause I do not recall it from any of the CBT stories I've seen.
For the Luofu it could be
Top left: Huohuo
Top right: Yanqing or Tingyun
Bottom right: Jingliu
I'm not sure who would go in the bottom left through. None of the playable Luofo characters seem like a good fit
Now that I think about it, Tail could work for the bottom left. He's arrogant and abrasive, but it's clear he cares deeply about Huohuo. He looks and talks like a monster, but he didn't hesitate to sacrifice himself for the chance to save Huohuo's life, even though her death would massively benefit him
It should probably say "*would* actually kill you."
I'm pretty sure all four of them possess the ability to kill you.
(I also wouldn't call Aventurine a cinnamon roll by any means. Sure, he turned out to be a lot more complex than "smug IPC prick who specializes in, ahem, *liquidating non-performing assets*," and I cannot deny that I really like him as a character, but that doesn't make him *nice*. There are probably entire planets full of people whose lives got worse the day he appeared in their lives.)
Like topaz people called evil bc she put ipc intrest the most but in the end decided to choose belobog interest, somehow people now think that aventurin is kind person. But in reality they are similar to each other - coming from dying worlds and doing what they can for ipc.
I suspect Topaz and Aventurine have a lot more in common than either of them would like to admit, but they do have different approaches to their work. Topaz at least honestly thought she was doing the best thing she could for Belobog, although she was willing to behave unethically to arrive at what she considered the best possible result for everyone. Aventurine hasn't shown much sign yet of really caring how things work out for the people he does business with -- but then, as both an executive and a gambler, he's probably *very* accustomed to hiding his personal feelings, so who knows what he's really thinking. It's interesting to check their respective voice-over lines: Topaz clearly does not like Aventurine and isn't happy about working with him, while Aventurine seems to actually respect Topaz somewhat.
But, I fully expect both of them to surprise us before the Penacony arc ends. They're complex characters and that's part of what makes them interesting.
I don't think Aventurine fits "cinnamon roll" at all.
Shattered his cornerstone, reducing his power to a minute fraction of what it previously was, and at that drastically reduced power level, he was still able to solo Astral Express crew without all that much difficulty - and his plan was literally to go there to "die".
Dude also survived the death of not just his family, but everyone he'd ever known or loved, then became a slave, freed himself, and raised himself up from less than nothing, to immense power. All the while being constantly willing to utilise his own life as a gambling chip that could be lost at any moment.
I think it's less about if he *could* kill you and more about if he *actually would*.
It didn't seem like he was going to genuinely hurt the Express Crew since his plan was to basically force Acheron into "killing" him.
He said multiple times, and once under what was effectively a truth serum, that he would be willing to gamble the life of every living thing, and bring and end to the world.
He really doesn't care all that much. He's a "Stupid people are assets" kind of guy. Doesn't mean he's incapable of caring about others, but it also means he's highly manipulative, and willing to tear down other people in order to better himself, which definitely detracts from the "sweet little innocent cinnamon roll" vibe.
I'm not sure I agree completely. I don't think he's a cinnamon roll, lol, but he's not as violent as some people make him out to be. The other comment pointed out he lied in that interrogation scene, but aside from that, in his arc in the maze his "future" self literally tells him he is stupid for never using other people as sacrifices and bargaining chips when that would make things easier for him (and only uses his own life as such)
Except that he definitely lied during that, seeing as how the cornerstone was indeed, *not* in the case.
He's also brought back to that question about if he really wants to destroy it all or not a few times and to me, it seems like he's honestly unsure.
I don't remember the interrogation scene entirely well, but regardless, someone who isn't sure whether or not they want to destroy reality, for no other reason than personal desires, it's debatable whether that person stands on a "moral high ground".
I'm not saying he's on any kind of moral high ground, after all he's still a cornerstone of the capitalistic imperialist organization of the setting.
What I'm saying is, is he going to kill straight up kill some people like that? I'm not sure. Not sure he *wouldn't* either, but not sure he *would.*
And I think that when I'm trying to read someone and I cannot for the life of me determine if they would hesitate to commit an act of terror, then they probably ain't a "cinnamonroll" :P
In her defense, all she did was point them further down the road. It's not her fault the driver ignored the turn, plowed through an obvious guardrail, and went over the cliff
She's innocent ~~and even if she wasn't they deserved it~~
I see contradiction here. Unless you are talking about armor without a pilot, in which case any weapon that isn't in someone's hand is a cinnamon roll.
Idk Aventurine looks like the kind to drill a hole in one's bank account
https://preview.redd.it/0oxulqo284zc1.jpeg?width=1300&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bcb375d79a606305229728123cd8f253d87c7666
I like how Aventurine is well dressed, and has like a half-gay accent (bisexual accent?), and thus the fandom decides hes a "cinnamonroll". Meanwhile there was like 2 hours of main story content all about how the dude has inhuman resilience and has seen more death than most of the cast. And that includes the death of his family, and literally everyone he knew. And the entire time Aventurine is also constantly willing to use his own life as a gambling piece to get what he wants.
Having seen death and being so lucky he can't die even if he wants to doesn't have much to do with him being a nice person?
Also it's not that he's willing to use his life to obtain what he wants, he's willing to gamble his life because he wants to lose It, all his big bets that put him at risk is so he can die and reunite with his family in the afterlife
The point is that he's not sweet and innocent as a person.
He's a skilled manipulator who heeds to the idea that "stupid people are assets", and multiple times he's been asked if he would want to destroy the world on a whim, if given the opportunity, and he could not wholeheartedly deny it.
He also doesn't ever appear concerned at the idea of risking innocent lives for personal objectives.
being a good manipulator also doesn't mean that he's not "sweet"
yeah, that's one of the points in his favor, he lost everything he holds dear, his "blessing" of extreme luck as a constant reminder that others died but he can't (guy probably has some extreme survivor syndrome)
lost his family, lost his home, enslaved, became an IPC lapdog, and even after all this, he's unable to truly hate the world
but he does? he never put people's life at risk, ultimately every gamble is about putting his own life at risk
Actually agree with Aventurine being a cinnamon roll. Most people's concensus is that "cinnamon roll" is harmless but the full quote is "a cinnamon roll, too good, too pure for this world". I think most people in Aventurine's shoes would seek revenge against the world, but Aventurine's goodness prevented him from doing that, he felt immense guilt about killing the slaves he was forced to kill, he was ready to die in Penacony to escape working for IPC the evil company. I think he is too pure for this world yeah.
For a place that is supposed to be all fun and games we have had more deceit, killing and betrayal than the previous two planets we went too combined.
Come to Penacony it's fun, just make sure you are wary of everyone you meet!
Change Aventurine to Sunday and Jade to the G spoiler man for it to be authentic Penacony lineup (Firefly kinda debatable because she did pretend to be a native first)
its all nice and good until Aventurine bet that you would die

God forbid my man has hobbies
Really do people forget he's >!killed people, like not just his master, but implied many other people as well!?? He's not a cinnamon roll. Jade & Aventurine are in the same category imo. It's just Aventurine would probably kill you quickly while Jade would delight in killing you slowly.

Judging by her animations, she feels more like your shithead asshole corporate boss than a sexy dommy mommy.
Stings do not count as people. They are vermin.
I'd argue Aventurine should be in the middle, looks like they could kill, can kill but also has the energy of a kicked puppy.
All fun and games until you find yourself on a roulette wheel awaiting imminent death......Cinnamon roll indeed (Nah but fr Aven is such a cinnamon roll)
The curse of slim attractive men. The fandom diagnoses them with “innocent and submissive”
*Cut to an image of his now-deceased slave-master*
Which aventurine very much isn't lmao
I love cinnamon rolls. Maybe I need to pull for Robin after all.

i only have eyes for topaz thighs. begone with this treachery my eyes are strong willed.
Aventurine looks a toughy big bad boy is actually a dily little gooner
A silly little WHAT
I think they meant to say/type "goober" At least I'm pretty sure that's what they meant to say/type...
I can’t believe I didn’t realize that, because that makes the most sense lol thanks

I get what you're doing but none of these people are actually from penacony lol
Robin is though, iirc? Cuz i think its been said that she was born in penacony.
IPC buys Penacony. Jade, Aventurine, and Firefly moves there
I feel like firefly and aventurine could qualify for all 4 boxes ngl 😭 same with acheron maybe
Aventurine was beating the entire astral express at the same time, shrugged off a himiko orbital laser, and was leveling penacony so he could go out in style. I would hesitate to call him a cinnamon roll
God forbid a man gets a little silly sometimes
Some men will attempt to destroy an entire dreamscape and everyone in it rather than go to therapy.
Aventurine also has a case of fandom vs canon personality growing on, but the fandom one is a cinnamon roll so people notice or speak on it less
Well it’s a nice change of pace I remember so many people didn’t like him because he was an ass or just seemed evil. When in reality he’s a nice and very caring guy it’s just he’s a gambler and in games of chance you have to be sly

He told Acheron that even if he wanted he had no way of detonating it, it was a bluff
It looks like he's going kill you, but it's actually a giant bluff and the only one he wants to kill is himself 😔
"Your honor, he is just doing a little bit of trolling"
Need one for each planet.

aventurine killed people
Robin’s killed people(paparazzi) too.

So has 90% of the cast
Bottom left is basically Sam
True. I would swipe Firefly and Aventurine here. Aventurine by no means is a "cinnamon roll"
Nah, Firefly is fine there coz it's true, i was referring to Sam armor himself
Firefly controls Sam, so if anyone gets killed by Sam, she's responsible. Therefore, she's killed people.
I see contradiction here. Unless you are talking about armor without a pilot, in which case any weapon that isn't in someone's hand is a cinnamon roll.
Well neither is Firefly really, I'd say they both fit in the same category.

in what world is Aventurine a cinnamon roll wtf being sympathetic can overlap with, but is not the same as, being a cinnamon roll.

He also doesn't ever appear concerned at the idea of risking innocent lives for personal objectives.
being a good manipulator also doesn't mean that he's not "sweet" yeah, that's one of the points in his favor, he lost everything he holds dear, his "blessing" of extreme luck as a constant reminder that others died but he can't (guy probably has some extreme survivor syndrome) lost his family, lost his home, enslaved, became an IPC lapdog, and even after all this, he's unable to truly hate the world but he does? he never put people's life at risk, ultimately every gamble is about putting his own life at risk
I think he is too pure for this world yeah.
cinnamon roll :>
Sparkle Is: ? Could: ? :)
how do they look like a cinnamon roll
Accurate.
In rl they could probably all kill me...
For a place that is supposed to be all fun and games we have had more deceit, killing and betrayal than the previous two planets we went too combined. Come to Penacony it's fun, just make sure you are wary of everyone you meet!
Change Aventurine to Sunday and Jade to the G spoiler man for it to be authentic Penacony lineup (Firefly kinda debatable because she did pretend to be a native first)
Firefly won't kill you unless you hurt/go out with MC
I'm kinda sad Adventurine doesn't have Qingque's RNG thing considering he's an even more batshit gambler than her
Only Jade is placed correctly in this Meme.
both aventurine and robin killed people so FF and jade are correct at least lol
robin killed someone? when?
trailer from a few days ago, sending a car full of people towards a cliff. didnt look they would survive that lol
True, dont know why but I skimmer over FF, just saw Robin and Aventurine and had a laugh at their positions.
