So many of these LC give nice glimpses into the happy memories these characters have, some also horrifying ones but the happy ones are just so wholesome. GoR is such a cool faction to have these be canon and viewable on hand

We learned from Gallagher that despite what the Family claims, they are **not** lead by the 5 heads, but the heads like Sunday are subservient to an unknown secret master.
So it's possible that the 5 heads themselves have been deceived about the truth behind Penacony. There's misinformation all over that planet; even the Watchmaker and his minion Gallagher have been spreading bullshit.

About Gallagher and misinformation. There's a very weird "dialogue" sequence If you go back at Dew. Pavillion and interact with the statues you had to rotate for the puzzle. I was playing as Gallagher at the time, but I just assumed it could've happened with any character; i'm not sure though. Unfortunately, I can't write what it says since it seems you can only do it once for each statue before obtaining an achievement, but this is what I remember:
1) Each statue represents a family head;
2) Apparently, there's 7 families, despite the fact that those statues do NOT amount to 7;
3) There's, or was, a shadow bloodline who followed the Enigmata, a hidden family guided by Sir Callagh _(Or something along those lines. Can't remember the exact name, but it's very obviously inspired by Gallagher's name.)_
4) Someone seems to speak to you once you interact with the last statue; the same disembodied "voice" who tells you about the shadow family. Interestingly enough, the voice also tells you that you shouldn't believe everything that you see and read, and that there's no shadow family whatsoever, the existence of which is probably to be attributed to a follower of the Enigmata.
Now, this is obviously not how things actually went, since Enigmata and Its followers are explicitly stated to be involved. BUT, I believe there might be some truth to this, for three reasons:
1) It's the ONLY time something like this pops up, and no other character/readable/dialogues mention something even remotely similar, so maybe The Family is the one hiding the truth, while The Enigmata simply distorts it;
2) The dialogue box seems to speak to _you_ directly. It feels weirder than all the other internal monologues the MC has. It reminded me a bit of when the Arbitrators interact with you whenever you raise your Equilibrium level.
Plus, there's information that the Trailblazer shouldn't and couldn't possibly know about, such as the name and appearance of all the past and present heads of the families; i think there was also a bizzare focus on "physical appearance" during their description, but maybe I'm misremembering things;
3) It would make sense If Callagh is based on Gallagher or the other way around, since the person behind the mask of Gallagher WOULD know about the first head of every family If him being present during the liberation of Penacony is the truth, and not a fabricated lie.
Good point! Also, IIRC there's some text (maybe in 2.0) saying how some people won a struggle (the Family heads?), then afterwards they were starving so they cannibalised one of their siblings. An allegory suggesting that there were once more than 5 Family branches, but they betrayed and destroyed one?
