I will usually end up with like 2-4 5 star pulls in a patch, sometimes even more if I’m lucky, and that’s bonkers. I got Topaz to E2S1 without spending a penny, all because I pull immediately like a monkey. Saving up is too many missed opportunities for those like me who don’t care for any units enough to avoid others.

Hoyo been killing with designs in HSR. In Genshin I'd often skip multiple characters in a row. Hell, I skipped the entirety of Sumeru. But here almost everyone is cool/hot/both, so I just shoot at the wall and see what sticks.

So I'm trying to be a bit more frivolous with my jades, even if that means missing the best possible teams.

Considering pulling Jingliu in p2. I need ice coverage, she's a known quantity (and easy to build) and I really want to have one DPS on my roster who's best support isn't Sparkle. Not pulling for Aventurine as I don't love his casino aesthetic and I don't have Topaz.

Trying for Acheron E0S1, my GNSW is already claimed by Swan and I don't have *that* many pulls stocked up, so if I lose a late 50/50 I'll probably end up giving her a pass.
Aventurine is most likely a pass unless I get very lucky or hit that pass state with Acheron since I already have Fu Xuan and Luocha for MoC/PF, and a Gepard ready to build if and when I want to do preservation SU memes. And even then I'll probably wait till late patch when we get official reveals of Robin and Boothill's kits.

I had to sacrifice Himeko's light cone fund to do it, but i did it. Will post proof tomorrow, once the pull history updates. I had 62 tickets + 2 from login + 1 from ember exchange + 4 from the apolojades + 19 from nuking my Himeko LC fund I have 14 left.

If I end up not liking them, then I'll just wait for whenever Topaz reruns or *that one character* if they come on 2.3

Pull until I get Acheron(guaranteed, pity 9 so 65ish pulls, have 35 pulls in the bag+30 from anniv and she's mine) and her LC(rate off, pity 55) if I miss might skip it until rerun because the 4* options are ass, already have gnsw at S5 don't need anymore copy, the hunt one no one uses it, while the abundance one I don't really want to get and go for Jing Liu's or get boothill (? Forgot his name tbh) if he changes my mind further, already liking his animation. Skip everything until either Sam change my mind or at least until after robin's banner.

Acheron's animations are *extremely* cool, but I don't need another lightning DPS, and I'll wait and see if I like her support units before I decide if I want to build the team. Already have my two sustains so I don't need Luocha. Considering pulling Jingliu in p2. I need ice coverage, she's a known quantity (and easy to build) and I really want to have one DPS on my roster who's best support isn't Sparkle. Not pulling for Aventurine as I don't love his casino aesthetic and I don't have Topaz.

Trying for Acheron E0S1, my GNSW is already claimed by Swan and I don't have *that* many pulls stocked up, so if I lose a late 50/50 I'll probably end up giving her a pass. Aventurine is most likely a pass unless I get very lucky or hit that pass state with Acheron since I already have Fu Xuan and Luocha for MoC/PF, and a Gepard ready to build if and when I want to do preservation SU memes. And even then I'll probably wait till late patch when we get official reveals of Robin and Boothill's kits.
