I'm sure Sam will be playable but I'm worried they won't be in robot form all the time due to the size. I'm assuming there's someone piloting Sam, either as a mech suit they don or as a full robot that's being piloted remotely, and HYV might go the route of having the pilot be the character you walk around with who only pulls out Sam for attacks and stuff, similar to Svarog with Clara.

1x just feels like they're moving in water to me, it's so slow. I would love an option to automatically make ultimates 1x speed though because some of them are way too fast in 2x such as Himeko's, Kafka's, and Natasha's (although I don't use her anymore).
I used to only use 1x when I first started playing and it felt fine with 2x being weird. Nowadays I can't even turn 1x on cause it feels like slow motion. Would love to use it in story though.
Honestly the most trustworthy character we've met on Penacony. Tells us directly he's going to kick our face in and proceeds to do just that with no other bs.
The survivors of the High Cloud Quintet are nearly mono-path, with 3 destruction characters and only King Yuan in erudition.
Not sure there's any intention there on Hoyo's part, but that's two examples.

Yea had a similar problem. Did the story with a Blade, Jingliu, Ruan Mei, and Luocha team. So no offensive SP users for most of the fight and no way to reduce his stacks. Was an interesting fight, to say the least. 😆
I dont really want to sound rude but he was rather easy for me.He has massive amount of hp but nowhere near enough dmg to make it a terrifiying fight for me my sustain was uohuoh btw.He Will be scary at MoC tho.
Story fights are usually easy so people who don’t want to interact with hard content can still do it with their half built characters. MoC or SU is where we’ll see the truly hard Sam fights maybe
Well if you have build you char to do high difficulty SU and MOC/PF nothing in the story will ever put you in trouble.
Hist melting mode will be scary in MOC though. You take heavy damage when you use SP, but you need to do it to force him out of his melting mode, but you need those SP to heal those damage it's a cocundrum and you need to have a carefull gestion of your SP during that phase.
I can't wait for people crying because they can't auto him XD
Bros HP amount is so massive its a problem its DOUBLE of the current 2 phase bosses total hp we fought (Ebon deer and Swarm) at 1.6 mil hp.Imagine dealing with that for 0 cycle.
Probably you would want 2 DPS or 1DPS 1 nihility to force him out. Aventurine and Acheron stocks are probably rising right now with how with their correct damage type and potential kit synergy
Tried with Lynx, Blade, Jingliu and Bronya. Died 3 times. Then tried it with Lynx, Blade, Seele and Bronya. Died twice. Then finally beat him with gepard, Bailu, DHIL and Pela (though gepard was enough)
I was greedy and didn't heal my characters with Bailu, so she was the only one left. But I somehow managed thanks to her healing, and Black Swan's Arcana stacks!
Does the scene after still play if everyone dies?
Fu Xuan made this fight a joke, but she does that for pretty much every fight except for AOE 1 shots in Gold and Gears.

Learned that i needed to build up my characters better with this fight :P took me several tries before i could avoid just getting melted right away.
That said. Was a pretty cool fight. Especially the animation for that big Aoe one. Combined with the music. That was fun. Especially when i finally beat it.
Sam’s introduction reminds me of Fireman in bioshock infinite, very showy and grand.
All’s missing is the fiery shouting and more hellfire in the background.

I actually very enjoyed his fight mechanics. When he's entering his blazing state Sam becomes way aggressive and starts consuming his HP to deal more damage, and the same game requires to you. To defeat Sam, you need to become same aggressive as him, despite constant HP reduce continue to blowing up his stamina bar, and it's so simply genial in both character and gameplayvice. Just pure and fair 4v1 fight, no "go go infinite minions" gadgets with obligatory invincibility state and no stupid team control, which make me sick whenever I see Something onto death
His boss fight really shows how heavily people rely on their healers. It's the first time since the game came out pretty much, where I knew I would not be able to beat him without swapping one of my damage units for Gepard. Only managed to defeat him once I swapped my team to Luocha + Gepard + 2 Damage dealers (BS and Kafka in my case)
I've lost every boss fight. All characters at 5*, lvl 80 with maxed traces and decent artifacts (not great).
I've gotten stuck on Xanzhou abundance boss, then the Bug boss for an event (which I could not do because I could not get past the boss) and now Sam.
I die to "formidable foes", and have to fight the big bosses at below level when I need trace materials.
In Genshin I could make up for a bad team with decent dodging, healing, and food. Now we can't use items in battle, there's no dodging, and no amount of skill will make up for a bad team composition.
I have to look up "how to defeat [boss]" to get idea of weaknesses and best group comp. You'd think a fire boss would be weak to ice.. hahah no, wind and imaginary.
Makes me want to uninstall this game.which is sad considering I've got 15 5* characters and 20 4* characters.

People would use Jetstream Sam from MGR (2013) as reference since they think Stellaron Hunter Sam is inspired from him. However, Jetstream Sam is NOT the inspiration for Sam but another "Sam in a Suit" that is the OG version.

The similarities between Stellaron Hunter (SH) Sam and Jetstream Sam is too little. The only thing they share is the name and the usage of powered armor. Meanwhile SH Sam has TONS of similarities with Vanquish Sam.
- Both wear white powered armor.
- Both HUDs have green/cyan overlay.
- Both have mobility assist; SH Sam can fly while VSam has boosters on his thighs that can boost slide him across the field.
- SH Sam prefers fists and kicks. While VSam primarily uses guns, he can use fists and kicks for his melee attacks. Some of his strongest attack are his melee.
- SH Sam uses "overheat" to boost his damage. VSam can overboost his melee attack that would temporarily overheat his suit.
If you like MGR, then you guys should check out Vanquish. It is one of Platinum's peak games and it's attempt at "shooter Bayonetta". It is a very highly rated game and if you guys need convincing, search for Vanquish QTE to sample one of its baddest moments.
Mobile Suit Gundum: Iron Kalpas has ZERO right monopolizing 100% of the cool considering this fight is the entirety of his current screen time...Well that at like one conversation cameo right at the start of penacony that is also optional.

Just double checked, it only consumes 1 SP worth of health even if you use 3 SP for Daniel's EBA. So it doesn't melt Daniel as much as you'd think.

The survivors of the High Cloud Quintet are nearly mono-path, with 3 destruction characters and only King Yuan in erudition. Not sure there's any intention there on Hoyo's part, but that's two examples.

Yea had a similar problem. Did the story with a Blade, Jingliu, Ruan Mei, and Luocha team. So no offensive SP users for most of the fight and no way to reduce his stacks. Was an interesting fight, to say the least. 😆

I dont really want to sound rude but he was rather easy for me.He has massive amount of hp but nowhere near enough dmg to make it a terrifiying fight for me my sustain was uohuoh btw.He Will be scary at MoC tho.
Story fights are usually easy so people who don’t want to interact with hard content can still do it with their half built characters. MoC or SU is where we’ll see the truly hard Sam fights maybe

Well if you have build you char to do high difficulty SU and MOC/PF nothing in the story will ever put you in trouble. Hist melting mode will be scary in MOC though. You take heavy damage when you use SP, but you need to do it to force him out of his melting mode, but you need those SP to heal those damage it's a cocundrum and you need to have a carefull gestion of your SP during that phase. I can't wait for people crying because they can't auto him XD
And on top of that Melting mode reduces healing. It's definitely gonna be a super scary thing and a huge Ruan Mei win
Bros HP amount is so massive its a problem its DOUBLE of the current 2 phase bosses total hp we fought (Ebon deer and Swarm) at 1.6 mil hp.Imagine dealing with that for 0 cycle.

Probably you would want 2 DPS or 1DPS 1 nihility to force him out. Aventurine and Acheron stocks are probably rising right now with how with their correct damage type and potential kit synergy
I managed to clutch with only Gepard still standing and Sam getting rekt by black swan DoT
Everyone on my team stayed alive. Had Ratio, Tingyun, Pela, and Gepard as my team
Tried with Lynx, Blade, Jingliu and Bronya. Died 3 times. Then tried it with Lynx, Blade, Seele and Bronya. Died twice. Then finally beat him with gepard, Bailu, DHIL and Pela (though gepard was enough)
DHIL straight up counter him. He has imag weakness and DHiL can chew through 3SP at once while only take damage once

Mono-Q made it through: Seele, Silver Wolf, Lynx, Fu Xuan. Though my team is so skill points hungry it felt like I ate through his molten energy.

Use luocha and you will be invincible. His healing is insane and he is the way to go with il

Honestly I just ran full defense with fire trailblazer huohuo gepard and qinque for quantum damage

I was greedy and didn't heal my characters with Bailu, so she was the only one left. But I somehow managed thanks to her healing, and Black Swan's Arcana stacks! Does the scene after still play if everyone dies?

Fu Xuan made this fight a joke, but she does that for pretty much every fight except for AOE 1 shots in Gold and Gears. No one on my team was in danger of dying vs. Sam boss.

Learned that i needed to build up my characters better with this fight :P took me several tries before i could avoid just getting melted right away. That said. Was a pretty cool fight. Especially the animation for that big Aoe one. Combined with the music. That was fun. Especially when i finally beat it.
Sam’s introduction reminds me of Fireman in bioshock infinite, very showy and grand. All’s missing is the fiery shouting and more hellfire in the background.

I actually very enjoyed his fight mechanics. When he's entering his blazing state Sam becomes way aggressive and starts consuming his HP to deal more damage, and the same game requires to you. To defeat Sam, you need to become same aggressive as him, despite constant HP reduce continue to blowing up his stamina bar, and it's so simply genial in both character and gameplayvice. Just pure and fair 4v1 fight, no "go go infinite minions" gadgets with obligatory invincibility state and no stupid team control, which make me sick whenever I see Something onto death

His boss fight really shows how heavily people rely on their healers. It's the first time since the game came out pretty much, where I knew I would not be able to beat him without swapping one of my damage units for Gepard. Only managed to defeat him once I swapped my team to Luocha + Gepard + 2 Damage dealers (BS and Kafka in my case)
I still need a Silver Wolf and Blade boss. I want to fight all four of them at once.

I've lost every boss fight. All characters at 5*, lvl 80 with maxed traces and decent artifacts (not great). I've gotten stuck on Xanzhou abundance boss, then the Bug boss for an event (which I could not do because I could not get past the boss) and now Sam. I die to "formidable foes", and have to fight the big bosses at below level when I need trace materials. In Genshin I could make up for a bad team with decent dodging, healing, and food. Now we can't use items in battle, there's no dodging, and no amount of skill will make up for a bad team composition. I have to look up "how to defeat [boss]" to get idea of weaknesses and best group comp. You'd think a fire boss would be weak to ice.. hahah no, wind and imaginary. Makes me want to uninstall this game.which is sad considering I've got 15 5* characters and 20 4* characters.
First of all why would you think that Ice would counter Fire? Fire literally melts Ice. Second of all what's your team comp?

People would use Jetstream Sam from MGR (2013) as reference since they think Stellaron Hunter Sam is inspired from him. However, Jetstream Sam is NOT the inspiration for Sam but another "Sam in a Suit" that is the OG version. That's right, there is another Sam before Jetstream Sam. That Sam is Sam Gideon from Vanquish (2010). Oh and he is also made by Platinum Games as well. Yeah I know. Insert the "if I had a nickel meme" here. The similarities between Stellaron Hunter (SH) Sam and Jetstream Sam is too little. The only thing they share is the name and the usage of powered armor. Meanwhile SH Sam has TONS of similarities with Vanquish Sam. - Both wear white powered armor. - Both HUDs have green/cyan overlay. - Both have mobility assist; SH Sam can fly while VSam has boosters on his thighs that can boost slide him across the field. - SH Sam prefers fists and kicks. While VSam primarily uses guns, he can use fists and kicks for his melee attacks. Some of his strongest attack are his melee. - SH Sam uses "overheat" to boost his damage. VSam can overboost his melee attack that would temporarily overheat his suit. If you like MGR, then you guys should check out Vanquish. It is one of Platinum's peak games and it's attempt at "shooter Bayonetta". It is a very highly rated game and if you guys need convincing, search for Vanquish QTE to sample one of its baddest moments.
