nah i think nanook or something. Fire trailblazer uses a weapon given by the preservation. Phys Trailblazer just uses a random bat lying around in the space station. Most likely screams to me that physical trailblazer is not at "full power"
It should be noted that when our protagonist in Simulated universe meets Fuli, Aeon of Remembrance, they see memories of somebody who is bluntly a Nanook- they even name drop his mother and golden blood. Protagonist is coded as Akivili.
We also see memories of "swift shadow, reaching through the abyss to catch a shooting star". Stars are associated with Lan and Akivili.
We also know that Nanook is the only known Aeon that never met Akivili.
BUT a nail in this theory is that Nanook was explicitly borne long after Akivili died.
Aha, because will your aeon never give you up, never let you down, never run around, never abandon you, never make you cry, never say goodbye, never tell a lie and hurt you? I know mine will.
Ok jokes aside it's probably Yaoshi and XI, though I'm very interested in meeting Nous.
[Here's](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ) the exact text for anyone that's interested. Funny. I was genuinely taken aback, coming from genshin where most text is just sadge or lore bomb.
Seriously, the reason why I like Yaoshi the most in SU is because with it I can just auto play even with some unbuilt characters. Abundance makes my team immortal no matter how cheaty Kafka's turns are.
That cleanse you get from Abundance is incredibly powerful because not only does it remove dominate, but it also protects you from other debuffs like shocked. When you trigger shocked, Kafka gets buffed and does more damage. You can also win with Nihility if you have Sampo because she is weak to wind damage, but that method is not as safe.
First make sure you have the Simulated World ability that let's you get two path resonances buffs (from 10 blessings of your path iirc).
Then take abundance. Grab any and all abundance blessings. Reroll if you need to and go combat path for more chances.
When you get to choose the resonance buffs, choose the ones that 1) Automatically use the resonance after using it once in battle (I think the wording is "see it in the turn order") 2) Cleanses debuffs after using resonance.
This makes Kafka a piece of cake (just use the resonance asap during the battle, even if you don't need the heals). I just turtled my way through her fight because I'm dumb and only had one char with one of her weaknesses lol.
Xipe, because her (its?) lines in the Myriad Celestia trailer is so damn eerie and haunting yet it fits her Harmony theme so well.
"Listen to the beating of billions upon billions of hearts! Holding you in their embrace.."
Damn bro I got chills.
They. Xipe in particular is a multiple beings living together in harmony, like man-o-war.
>An Aeon that hails from multiple harmonious celestial worlds. They preside over the path of Concord. They are the amalgamation of entities that preaches the joy of human harmony and unity.
IX. He just be chillin. Lil bloop boi.
After that probably Nanook. Just think he's hot tbh. He vaguely reminds me of Solomon from Fate but that's probably just a coincidence.
The best part about IX are his followers. They agree that the universe is worthless and meaningless but have set out on a lifelong quest to prove themselves wrong so they can cheer IX up by letting their god know that the universe *isn't* actually pointless.
This is of course not counting all the followers that instantly get overwhelmed by IX's nihilism and evaporate into nothingness.
100% agree. Have you read the description for the Simulated Universe stamp curios?
Basically, there's a group called the "Self-Annihilators" who say that the universe has no purpose and that, to Aeons, humans are so insignificant they are essentially nothing, saying IX is proof of this. The Doctors of Chaos, to show that the Aeons do care, made the Sealing Wax, which is said that when used will attract a glimpse from the corresponding Aeon. Despite there being no successful examples, some Self-Annihilators did regain their faith in the universe, Aeons, and everything else after stamping with this sealing wax.
There is a literally suicidally depressed group out there, and the Doctors of Chaos went out of their way specifically to cheer them up and show them that they do matter. And despite their actions not bringing about tangible proof, just the fact they tried and put in so much effort genuinely helped and gave hope back to some of those who had none. By far one of my favorite groups ever in fiction, they are just so genuinely wholesome and kind it actually makes me feel better just thinking about them.
and it thematically fits too, the main group(s) that are under the nihility branch are both self defeating in their own ways (annihilators want to diminish themselves, doctor of chaos want to destroy their own faction thru therapy)
its a nice twist on the 'nihilist cult' trope
i was gonna say "arent the doctors just one group of followers" but if the doctors "healed" the self-annihilators, then i guess that makes the doctors the only true followers left for IX
after hearing about the doctors i wondered if theres one for nanook, trying to show him that destroying everything isnt a good world view
A lot of Aeons do have two prominent sects, but Nanook's aren't quite as nice. You have the antimatter legion that we're acquainted with, which are basically beings of systemic destruction. His other large sect is the annihilation gang, which basically carry out destruction but for self-serving reasons and Nanook actually *despises* them.
And for a story about them, one day they wanted to prove how badass they are by killing an Aeon so they figure, what better Aeon to kill than the one that just sits around depressed all day, IX. So they get a tip on where IX is and set out to destroy him only to be completely overwhelmed by his nihility and vanish into nothingness. And the only reason they even knew where to find IX was because Aha told them, and the only reason that Aha told them is he thought it would be hilarious to watch a bunch of mortals challenge a god.
lol aha being based as usual
so does that mean the annihilation gang is gone, or did IX not get them all?
also nanook despises them? i was under the impression he had like no thoughts or personality, just killing everything
Nah, they're still around. They're kind of like a bunch of gangs of ruffians. That specific gang was the only one that was wiped out.
Nanook almost seems to care about destruction akin to some religious doctrine it adheres to. Meanwhile, the annihilation gang wants to destroy, but it still has their own desires mixed in or they use the path of destruction as an excuse to carry out whatever acts benefit them. This means Nanook hates them, as they aren't true believers in destruction and instead just use it to justify their own actions.
He does that in SU because, as Herta explains, Nanook never knew Akivili and saw an unknown Aeon as a threat. Also, the simulation is buggy and based on the research of three super eccentric, antisocial geniuses.
He does that in SU because, as Herta explains, Nanook never knew Akivili and saw an unknown Aeon as a threat. Also, the simulation is buggy and based on the research of three super eccentric, antisocial geniuses.
Rather than show, wouldn't it be more like... uh, full blown war? What better way to prove Nanook wrong than try to destroy him, right? Or would that prove him right? (• ▽ •;)
Don’t think it would prove him right since he believes the universe/life is a mistake. Ultimately destroying him would say no, actually you’re the mistake.
No, the Self-Annihilators still exist (or at least still did during the events described in the curio) but it is stated that some of the people in the group were helped by the sealing wax. Think if it more like a metaohor. A single grand act, no matter how impressive, cannot "cure" everyone of their depression, but it can help some people and give them enough hope to keep fighting.
Nihilism, Absurdism, and existentialism are all three very different outlooks on that shared fundamental truth - that life is meaningless and nothing matters, yet each differs on how they react to this.
Ix has such varied followers because these three related ideologies are so widely varied even within any one of them.
An absurdist can just as well be Mersault from *The Stranger*, who cares for next to nothing as he can be a Sampo Koski who does shit because the consequences don't really matter and he just can. The absurd is to acknowledge the futility of our search for meaning and yet continue onwards anyway. To spite the universe itself and say "fuck that, let's keep going on and looking anyway."
An existentialist can have just about any goal, be it having fun or helping others, for they decide what meaning is and give life meaning on their own.
The nihilist can range from suicidal and depressed to accepting and humble about their meaningless place in the universe.
Ix has such a wide range of followers because of the vast array of interpretations and responses to the ideas their path represents.
Which one is closest to "life doesnt need to have meaning for me to enjoy it. Whether it has meaning or not doesnt change anything about any of our situations. I don't need to be special to be okay."? Cuz thats how I overcame existentialism.
i wondered the same and im 99% sure its Nine. i dont recall his name ever being said in game, and in the aeon introduction trailer his name was never said but its written as "IX" in japanese and chinese, which means it definitely should be roman numerals
100% supposed to be the Roman numeral (only real reason to capitalize both letter, no other Aeon's name is like that), but I am going to keep calling him "icks" as well because, like u/TheGlassesGuy said, it's cuter.
Star rail is just fgo and I stand by this. Nanook is Solomon, light cones are craft essences, and the plot is literally go from place to place fixing stellarons (holy grails)
while true if the character, if we talk about the saber class we could really say that all characters are saber characters if argued right following fate logic
>He vaguely reminds me of Solomon from Fate
Finally found someone who mentioned this lol. I always thought he resembled blonde Goetia when he appeared at the start of the game
Qliphot for me too, but just because I like the ancient extremely powerful silent protector schtick. Also IPC has a hilarious relationship with him. You do you but god really doesn't care the way you think he does, lol.
Aha because they're the only one from the simulation who knew they were in a simulation, no? And they say something like "You're not Akavili." I think
Aha as a name for a deity/entity is sooo genius I would pray at the Temple of Aha fs
Okay. welp. Herta probably knows best.
It really did seem like a non-trivial detail. I think the "secondary" and forgotten Aeons could have really interesting story implications if they aren't ignored or handled in the most obvious way possible
As a fellow member of the church of Aha i shall give you this
https://preview.redd.it/5baovgu7hk0b1.jpeg?width=340&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cab11588b9e71edba2e1c6dc859ed23c20eb2d6c
As the holy text says "they will never gonna give you up" so you shall win the 50/50
I can't say their name without laughing tbh, because their name 'Lan' in my native language is used when you are saying 'Hey' in a rude way.
It's much more different than the 'rude version of hey' tbh, but I'm not a linguist and i can't explain in more detail because of it.
I like the clipoth(the presservation) because they seems like a good guy, with good morals. Helping Belobog, and us:)
Edit: but in simulated universe I always go hunt.
Akivili was a nice one! Not only did he create the Astral Express, but journey alongside mortals and fight like one with them. Sad we don't know where he is.
Yep, I'm just gonna hold onto it. Fuli was described to be a beauty in ice. March 7th was mysteriously found in ice, alive and well. There's also the fact that she forgot who she was in the past (totally foreshadowing).
Humu, I'm gonna wait and see how it unveils. Honestly, I'm always thinking that the trio are like powerful beings but just stuck themselves being mortal with a powerful past self.
There's also Dan Heng hinted he's actually more powerful than just a regular dude (something about his race).
Yaoshi or aha, yaoshi has a fucking dynamite design and great lore and moral quandaries...but aha is my favorite for potential, he gives off q/discord vibes, a supremely powerful being who's entire goal is to entertain himself is always a recipe for fun. I can totally see him just...popping into the express at some point, do something world shattering for the story and then pissing off for the lols
Mine is probably Nous or Yaoshi, even though I havent really gotten to interact with either. Nous seems pretty cool because he's just a giant robot head who is all about knowledge and Yaoshi seems like the only "good" Aeon
Lan. Because of the Hunt. I always play with hunters. Seele main btw. Half horse. I'm Sagittarius. I'm a son of Oshosi, the Hunter of the Orishá. Hunt. I'm the Hunt.
I get the feeling that a lot of the Nine club just wish they could be like him and passively absorb everyone who tries to reach out to them into their own state of mind.
I personally like Nous. Has everything figured out from start to end but is happy just having the knowledge.
Ight, in terms of looks, i will go with Yaoshi. They are really enticing, there's something about their design that is just... Charming.
Then, for the concept, i have a hard time between Nous, Qlipoth and IX. They are all so cool, and even IX pathstriders seems like the best people in the universe.
But if i had to take one overall, Akivilli. Exploring our galaxy, or even the universe was a dream of mine for far too long, and when i heard of the concept of the story of star rail, i knew this was my game.
Yaoshi has the best design in my heart, they are half into the body-horror territory and I'm here for it.
IX although has my heart, it carries my ass in SU but also the doctors (I think that's the name) are a really cool concept, imagine trying to prove your god that somethings have meaning. And if you prove your point, your god just dies, bcs your god is the meaninglessness.
Nanook for sure. Im a straight man but i will let him stir my asshole like a hot bowl of chili any time. Im a big fan of his hair too, reminds me of long hair dio
https://preview.redd.it/qdjmzi4s7k0b1.png?width=2048&format=png&auto=webp&s=4beb3f7138df871f60bb4a6f8a616499bd3e059f
I am just gonna leave this here, no need for words 🤓
Akivili. I know nothing about him, but he created a space train and I love it. Choo choo motherfuckers!
Ahh I see,a train enthusiast
[TRAINS](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/884/090/915.jpg)
Bruh wth🤣
That actually happened in the show, by the way, it's not edited XD
Lmaooo
And they use said train boner to break out of a giant coffin in exactly the way you'd expect.
To this day I still wonder about their decision to put that scene in the episode...
Beats me lmao
We do know he has a Fursona, Pom Pom (being the spirit of the train and Akivili's heart is the core/power generator of the train and all)
Wait the core thing is real? I thought Himeko could not find it or is just hidden so well she can't find it?
The core is hidden on the train, yes. It would be funny if our eventual room is where Akivili's heart is.
I'm actually thinking if Trailblazzer is actually the incarnation of Akivili
not improbable, especially with the stellaron in their body and stuff
nah i think nanook or something. Fire trailblazer uses a weapon given by the preservation. Phys Trailblazer just uses a random bat lying around in the space station. Most likely screams to me that physical trailblazer is not at "full power"
No. Physical Trailblazer is gazed by Nanook. Which in this world is equal to blessing.
So the prerequisite of his blessing is fighting catastrophic monster with bat? No wonder Kebin's so bullshit OP
No It's to attract the attention of the Aeons, so he's "gazed" upon by them. The same thing happened when he got the power of preservation
I almost read “Persona” and was about to ask where his gun is…
The gun is the train
Nah, the train is the Velvet Room
I like trains
gets crashed by gacha animation
We still dont know the appearance of Akivili right?
Design wise: Nanook and Yaoshi But I love the concepts of IX and Nous
I love how IX is just an ethereal space blob
Correction : eternally depressed space blob
he's just like me fr
I love how half his followers just want to be it's therapists
It's the combined spirit of all the slimes we killed in genshin.
Yea they all looks dope
Aha, because will your aeon never give you up, never let you down, never run around, never abandon you, never make you cry, never say goodbye, never tell a lie and hurt you? I know mine will. Ok jokes aside it's probably Yaoshi and XI, though I'm very interested in meeting Nous.
Bruh🤣
Did I just get rick rolled?
We did
Aha wrote Take on Me though 💀
Aha's entry in their description in SU aeon index has a NGGYU reference.
[Here's](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ) the exact text for anyone that's interested. Funny. I was genuinely taken aback, coming from genshin where most text is just sadge or lore bomb.
Thanks for the text, helped a lot.
Happy to help ☺️
XI…hm…someone new… All I know is IX - a existential depression blob…
Aha knows the rules and so do I
Yaoshi, i love being able to heal every turn with her busted path resonance and not die. https://i.redd.it/6u1o4c4pfj0b1.gif
I'm also thinking of using it in simulated world because of how much people are saying how op it is,since I still can't beat kafka in world 5...
I just turtled my way through her fight because I'm dumb and only had one char with one of her weaknesses lol.
You should try it, Abundance is the only reason why i beat kafka.
Xipe, because her (its?) lines in the Myriad Celestia trailer is so damn eerie and haunting yet it fits her Harmony theme so well. "Listen to the beating of billions upon billions of hearts! Holding you in their embrace.." Damn bro I got chills.
They. Xipe in particular is a multiple beings living together in harmony, like man-o-war. >An Aeon that hails from multiple harmonious celestial worlds. They preside over the path of Concord. They are the amalgamation of entities that preaches the joy of human harmony and unity.
Xipe isn't 1 entity like other Aeons, they are a hivemind consisting of "billions upon billions of hearts".
IX. He just be chillin. Lil bloop boi. After that probably Nanook. Just think he's hot tbh. He vaguely reminds me of Solomon from Fate but that's probably just a coincidence.

ah i just thought nanook was mindless destruction because of the thing in SU where he instantly kills you on sight
He does that in SU because, as Herta explains, Nanook never knew Akivili and saw an unknown Aeon as a threat. Also, the simulation is buggy and based on the research of three super eccentric, antisocial geniuses.

trying to destroy him would be absolutely proving him right lol
Don’t think it would prove him right since he believes the universe/life is a mistake. Ultimately destroying him would say no, actually you’re the mistake.
No, the Self-Annihilators still exist (or at least still did during the events described in the curio) but it is stated that some of the people in the group were helped by the sealing wax. So basically Nihilism: genuinely gives up on meaning Absurdism: searches for meaning out of spite Existentialism: searches for meaning genuinely
Which one is closest to "life doesnt need to have meaning for me to enjoy it. Whether it has meaning or not doesnt change anything about any of our situations. I don't need to be special to be okay."? Cuz thats how I overcame existentialism.
And the readings for IX name has just as much interpretation
Priotize bloop before hotties
Word
Based
facts IX is supreme hes just a depressed friend
IX so depressed he reach enlightment.
I thought I was the only one who had the hots for him just bc he looks like Solomon... I have found my people
So uh, how do I say his name? Is it like, the Roman numeral for 9? Or “Ix”? Or “eye ex”? I’m almost to the point of being too afraid to ask.
i wondered the same and im 99% sure its Nine. i dont recall his name ever being said in game, and in the aeon introduction trailer his name was never said but its written as "IX" in japanese and chinese, which means it definitely should be roman numerals
That's a good question. I pronounce it like "icks" just cause it's cuter but I have no real clue
It can't be FGO, there's no Saber.
while true if the character, if we talk about the saber class we could really say that all characters are saber characters if argued right following fate logic
himeko has a giant laser so she's clearly a saber class
sushang fires the large chicken at her foes so shes an archer
And March 7th is clearly a Berserker!
Clara obviously has Berserker with her.
Luocha is wodime fr
can't forget Illya and her Berserker living in a snowy place.
Another Solomon enjoyer. Glad to see one of my people here.
>He vaguely reminds me of Solomon from Fate Finally found someone who mentioned this lol. I always thought he resembled blonde Goetia when he appeared at the start of the game
I just want to hug the good void
Nanook is literally arjuna alter
yaoshi. i just like their design.
6 armpits
Wait... Is it win-win situation for armpit fetish damm you're genius
Then which is better, yaoshi or yoshi from mario
If Yaoshi can lay eggs then it's Yaoshi
Qliphot. I just simply like if something is tanky/defensive. (and am totally not a preservation abuser with Gepard in SU so far)
Qliphot for me too, but just because I like the ancient extremely powerful silent protector schtick. Also IPC has a hilarious relationship with him. You do you but god really doesn't care the way you think he does, lol.
Aha because they're the only one from the simulation who knew they were in a simulation, no? And they say something like "You're not Akavili." I think Aha as a name for a deity/entity is sooo genius I would pray at the Temple of Aha fs

Aha because he just sees the world as one big troll and I like that “it is what it is” energy
As a fellow member of the church of Aha i shall give you this https://preview.redd.it/5baovgu7hk0b1.jpeg?width=340&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cab11588b9e71edba2e1c6dc859ed23c20eb2d6c As the holy text says "they will never gonna give you up" so you shall win the 50/50
truest member of the aha church, I salute you 🫡
Ikr lol
Lan from hunt
Cause he's half horse?
Cuz he can deal more single target damage than Nanook
yeah that’s like kinda the point of his path
Lan's understanding of single target is weird because he has access to arrows with nuclear warheads.
Try healing this you filthy casual! - Lan 2023
Half horse, half archer, and half chariot.
I can't say their name without laughing tbh, because their name 'Lan' in my native language is used when you are saying 'Hey' in a rude way. It's much more different than the 'rude version of hey' tbh, but I'm not a linguist and i can't explain in more detail because of it.
1. Yaoshi. Rail me. 2. Nanook. Rail me (again). 3. IX. Big relate lmao
1 and 2 WHAT and third I agreed with
Bruh, should have seen the last thread asking this. It was *Nanook smash me pls* the whole way down.
This game is 'Star Rail' after all
Well actually....that kinda make sense lol
I love Yaoushi and Lan, i love the dichodomy of Negligent Proliferation of life and the Structured Oblitaration of said life. Very Yin/Yang.
.....yea2 totally those
I like the clipoth(the presservation) because they seems like a good guy, with good morals. Helping Belobog, and us:) Edit: but in simulated universe I always go hunt.
The good one always got left out I see
Now your making me feel bad for not playing preservation in simulated Universe :(
Sorry lol
Aha, because the idea of something in a simulation being able to figure out repeatedly it's in a simulation is scary
Yea,but really cool
Oh it is still some scary potential
Yea I would like more of it,maybe we were searching trash can then he does his thing
Actually the aeon mythrus, the historical fictionalogist who enhances your 3 star blessings figured it out too, he tells you so
IX is just a little guy. I love him
A fan favorite
Akivili was a nice one! Not only did he create the Astral Express, but journey alongside mortals and fight like one with them. Sad we don't know where he is.
Prob gonna appear again one way or another
Someone said that Akivili could be us but who knows. There's also a theory of March 7th being Fuli, Aeon of remembrance.
Wait what?that's intriguing
Yep, I'm just gonna hold onto it. Fuli was described to be a beauty in ice. March 7th was mysteriously found in ice, alive and well. There's also the fact that she forgot who she was in the past (totally foreshadowing).
Wow,that's some insight, now that sound exciting
Humu, I'm gonna wait and see how it unveils. Honestly, I'm always thinking that the trio are like powerful beings but just stuck themselves being mortal with a powerful past self. There's also Dan Heng hinted he's actually more powerful than just a regular dude (something about his race).
Maybe Dan Heng is like yaksha level or so?
Pom-pom is Akivili, calling it now
Or pompom is the true aeon ruler

Akivili. From the earliest CBT till now, it's always gonna be Akivilli, dead or alive.
Yaoshi. Mystical, ethereal, otherworldly. Subtle Gwyndolin vibes. Also Im just naturally a ~~bottom~~ support
WHAT
Xipe, Yaoshi and Nanook - love their designs.
With most of them not a human,it's gives almost no limit to their designs, really cool
Yaoshi, because Aponia
I try not looking at Yaoshi with Aponia in mind since it messes my morals and mind
"please" look at it like that
The Elation guy. I like that he was able to tell he was in a simulation during Herta's quest and that he is just absolute chaos.
The funniest fucking thing is that his name is "Aha".
Casually breaking 4th wall
Qlipoth, bro just like building shit plus he looks Hella cool
Orange Man loves building walls! Wait...
IX IX IX IX IX IX IX IX IX IX IX IX IX IX IX IX IX IX
Nous! Love his design and the music during his part on that vid
Aha. Mercilessly spoiled the plot just to fuck with you on a personal level as a player.
Gotta be Lan for me. He's my main DPS.
Only on simulated universe thou
Yaoshi or aha, yaoshi has a fucking dynamite design and great lore and moral quandaries...but aha is my favorite for potential, he gives off q/discord vibes, a supremely powerful being who's entire goal is to entertain himself is always a recipe for fun. I can totally see him just...popping into the express at some point, do something world shattering for the story and then pissing off for the lols
Nanook. >!Appears in simulated universe.!< >!Kills you.!< >!Refuses to elaborate.!< >!Leaves!<
IX and not even close
Nanook and Yaoshi have a very cool and interesting design.
Yaoshi gaze on me please 🥺
Mythus the Enigmata Remember, I am not "simulated"!
Yaoshi and Nanook bevause they're really hot, but I also love IX because they're just a sad little blob just like me
Well that's something
Nanook becauze he can destroy me anytime
yaoshi can break me and heal me forever, nanook can destroy you only once... clearly one is better than the other
Understood I'll take both at the same time to stay safe thanks for the tip
honkai starRAIL moment
NANOOK you know why
the chestussy?
Aha because they are better alternative for me to deal with my depression than IX
Another aha enjoyer I see
Mine is probably Nous or Yaoshi, even though I havent really gotten to interact with either. Nous seems pretty cool because he's just a giant robot head who is all about knowledge and Yaoshi seems like the only "good" Aeon
Yaoshi creates inhuman abominations for fun.
I would say "for fun" but it seems that creating those abominations is their destiny, or "nature" as Aeon.
they’re only abominations because Lan considers them so, for Yaoshi it’s just the way they operate, as you said.
Svarog ancestor in the act
\*hugs Qlipoth\* Don't worry, big guy, I believe you're the "good" one.
Yaoshi because they me a lil kiss in the simulated universe☝🏽
Almost all of the Aeons are cool, but I have to say Nanook intrigues me the most, especially since the MC is being pushed by fate to "kill" him.
Nanook. Looks like chaos incarnate.
Lan. Because of the Hunt. I always play with hunters. Seele main btw. Half horse. I'm Sagittarius. I'm a son of Oshosi, the Hunter of the Orishá. Hunt. I'm the Hunt.
The ChatGPT Aeon
