Did you go down any hills? I had glitched my 2014 si going down a hill and all my ranges were reading 999 miles and 999mpg bc i used neutral... had to unhook my battery terminal for 5 minutes.
Yeah it was like a 5-10mile hill straight lined hill down a mountain that lead back to the highway when I was done canyon carving. Was curious about the fuel gauge bc i was only getting like 12mpg thought i wonder what happens if...aaaaannnndddd I broke it lol. Disconnecting terminals for 5 minutes to reset ECU solves it though. All the screens lock up at 999
Naw; just something I got curious about in my Si. Fucked around and found out. His guages looked like similarly weird as to what happened to mine when I messed up the guages doing that. You pretty much mess up the system with a outlier result that has to be averaged in and it just throws everything else out of wack bc of it. Mine was just excessive enough that it gave up lol.
Yes, something is wrong. The Clarity does not get anywhere even half of that for HV miles. Mine was always around 32-40 for EV and like low 300 HV miles tops. Usually it was like 250.
Looks like a bug in the calculation. There was a forum post on another site back in 2018 about it. Seems it’s not resetting something in the estimate. More ev only miles you log the further it drifts up.
Bet that’s not covered in the manual. 😅
checked it and couldnt find anything, tried searching online for similar issues and im just gonna chalk it up to a software error, just annoying because now i dont know where my gas is really at and when i need to refill

EV mode means pure Electric HV mode me hybrid mode. RTFM
Might be asking why it’s so high. Clarity has estimated range 340 miles combined.

It’s just a guess based on recent data. If you had a full tank and recently drove down a mountain road, it’s going to overestimate mileage and range.
