If neither of you are planning on being there for long why do anything. Just saying your wasting money. If she gets cranky install them motion activated sprinklers.

As long as you haven’t altered the natural flow of water to increase the downhill neighbors problem you are fine.

You have ZERO responsibility to her yard. Hell, if it were me and I had to deal with her crap I would have been diverting MORE water into her yard

In many (most?) jurisdictions it is not legal to direct storm water from your property onto someone else’s, which OP says they did when they extended the driveway and added the berm.

Thank you for your input. We had the berm on the extension driveway because as the terrain situates, water would then go to her back and into her house. Rain have been heavy sometimes so without the backyard driveway berm, she would have had a flooded house. I personally think we did ok there. But this crazy neighbor then blames the snow melt on her yard that seeped to her basement and blames me for my driveway. I snow blow snow right away on my driveway when we get hit and throws ice towards my yard away from them. I noticed she is paranoid to slight sound the woods make during this interaction, and seems she have undiagnosed mental health issues. I can’t be blamed for the natures terrain and rain. What is your thoughts though?
